This paper investigates the zero voltage switching (ZVS) and magnetic inductor integration for the single-phase bridgeless Single-SEPIC PFC. Firstly, The operation principles for the proposed SEPIC PFC with ZVS turn-on capability have been researched. Then, an E-I-E magnetic geometry has been applied to integrate all three inductors of the proposed bridgeless Single-SEPIC PFC (two input inductors and one output side inductor) into one magnetic core. The analysis of the magnetic reluctance model of the E-I-E core and the design procedure of the integrated inductor is introduced. The integrated inductors reduce the total ferrite volume and make the converter more compact. Finally, the experiment result of a 300W bridgeless single-SEPIC PFC prototype verifies the correctness of the theoretical analysis and design method.
