The article presents the case study of a 21-year-old African American woman with gradual decline in vision in both eyes. The patient's visual acuity and medical history is discussed whose pupils were reactive to light and symmetrically round and had systemic lupus erythmatosus (SLE). The patient was diagnosed with SLE retinopathy that led to severe vision loss.
