Abstract

The article reports on a study that examines the influence of adalimumab therapy on quality of life, work ability, and fatigue in patients with active rheumatoid arthritis (RA) in Amsterdam, Netherlands. A total of 126 patients with active RA started with tumor necrosis factor (TNF) inhibitor, adalimumab were the subject of the study. Results of the study showed that Adalimumab therapy significantly improves patient reported outcomes besides improving disease activity in established RA.
