Abstract

The article presents a study on the occurrence of the clearhead icefish, Protosalanx hyaloranius in the Songhua River, the largest tributary of Amur River. The specimen was 67.81 mm standard length. Other meristic characteristics were also obtained. The sex of the fish could not be identified at this stage of life.
