In this current article, we showed the dengue virus serotype 2 protein E gene from the clinical samples of Andhra Pradesh in an acute phase infection. The models showed positive for the protein E gene with RT-PCR techniques and cellular isolates. Two unique sequences are identified with new substrains, which are similar to the hermits of the earlier reports. This study provided the epidemiology insight of the isolated strain through the phylogenetic analyses. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

A study was conducted to  nd out the effect of microclimate alteration on Temperature- Humidity Index (THI) in buffalo sheds and physiological responses in Murrah buffaloes during summer season in coastal region of Andhra Pradesh State, India. Forty lactating Murrah buffaloes were divided in 4 groups of 10 each in a Completely Randomized Design (4x10 CRD). All the buffaloes were housed in loose houses. Group I buffaloes (control) were housed without any microclimate alteration, while group-II, III and IV buffaloes were provided with foggers, fans and foggers and fans in their houses, respectively from 11.00 A.M. to 4.00 P.M. for a period of 90 days. The study showed significantly lower (P<0.001) THI and rectal temperature (RT), respiration rate (RR) and pulse rate (PR) values in groups II, III and IV buffalo sheds and buffaloes, respectively compared to control group. The vast majority of people in rural Andhra Pradesh depend on employment for their primary source of income. Therefore, success in terms of improving employment opportunities can lead to success in reducing poverty and raising living standards. Simply having access to employment is not enough. Labour force participation rates are generally high across the districts in the state of Andhra Pradesh and yet large numbers of employed people cannot lift their families out of poverty. Therefore, reducing poverty requires a joint emphasis on the quality and quantity of employment. The greater the employment focus, the more the effective economic growth in fighting poverty. However, economic growth alone cannot be counted on to generate significant improvement in the quality and quantity of employment opportunities. What is needed is an employment-centred approach to growth and development. The link between employment and living standards is straightforward. However, one has to be clear on what one means by employment in the context of rural Andhra Pradesh. Often labour market policy recommendations assume a wage employment relationship as the dominant framework for understanding the employment dynamics. Equilibrium earnings are determined by an interaction between the supply and demand for labour in a wage labour market. Abstract: Pelecypod shell originated from Kolleru lake of Andhra Pradesh is used in the present work. It contains Mn(II) and Fe(III) in traces. The EPR spectrum of the compound is due to Mn(II) which is in three independent sites. The three g values are evaluated with slight differences. The hyperfine component varies from 9.33 to 9.49mT. The zero field splitting parameter is also ranges from 43.8(1) to 44.1(1)mT. Using the covalence parameter the number of ligands around metal is estimated as 20. In EPR spectrum Fe(III) is identified. The optical absorption spectrum is attributed to Mn(II) in octahedral geometry. Further 10 Dq band is attributed to Fe(II) in the optical absorption spectrum. NIR spectral results are due to water fundamentals, whereas IR and Raman spectrum is due to carbonate ion fundamentals. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

A powdered sample of Phyllanthus amarus herb of Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh, India, is used in the present study. ICP-MS analysis indicates that copper is present in higher concentration when compared to other elements. Although the Pb is toxic, it is within the permissible limit. The evaluated soil and herb physico-chemical parameters indicate that the sample is acidic in nature in comparison with the soil. An EPR study on powdered sample confirms the presence of Fe(III), Mn(II) and Cu(II). Optical absorption spectrum indicates that Fe(III) impurity is present in octahedral structure whereas Cu(II) is present in rhombically distorted octahedral environment.
