The article presents information on southernmost part of Antarctica by the photo journalist. He journeys to the continent which is a wind-blasted desert of ice and rock and he discovers a frozen Eden. He was completely unprepared for what he found in there. He sailed to the world's two southernmost regions Antarctica and the desolate coast of Patagonia, at the tip of South America. He struggled to convey information about the windiest, highest and coldest of all the continents, a place where temperatures plunge to ninety-five below in the winter. Because of the slaughter of whales by man, there is a biological imbalance in the region.
