The experiment was to study the effect of different levels of fermented feed instead of basic diet on growth performance, immunity and serum biochemical indexes of meat ducks. In the experiment, 800 one-day-old healthy Pekin ducks were randomly divided into four groups, with five replicates in each group and 40 ducks in each replicate. The basal diet was replaced by 0, 2.5%, 5.0% and 10.0% fermented feed in control group, experiment group 1, experiment group 2 and experiment group 3, respectively. The test period was 42 d. The results showed that at the age of 1~21 d, the body weight of meat ducks in group 2 and group 3 at the age of 21 d was significantly higher than that in control group (P<0.05), and feed to gain ratio was significantly lower than that in control group and group 1 (P<0.05). At the age of 22 to 42 d, the body weight and average daily gain of meat ducks in group 2 and group 3 were significantly higher than those in control group and group 1 (P<0.05). At the age of 1~42 d, the average daily gain of meat ducks in group 2 and group 3 was significantly higher than that in control group and group 1 (P<0.05), and feed to gain ratio was significantly lower than that in control group and group 1 (P<0.05). The content of IgA and IFN-γ in serum of ducks in group 2 and group 3 were significantly higher than those in control group (P<0.05), and the content of IgG and IL-2 in serum of ducks in experimental groups were significantly higher than those in control group (P<0.05). The content of TP and ALB in serum of ducks in groups 2 and group 3 were significantly higher than those in control group (P<0.05), while the content of TC was significantly lower than that in control group (P<0.05). The study indicates that the growth performance, immune function and lipid metabolism of ducks can be improved by using a proper amount of fermented feed, and the optimal replacement amount of fermented feed is 5%.
