The article discusses the author's experience in their voyage to Bering Strait aboard the nuclear submarine Nautilus. To hide their identity of being part of the U.S. Navy operations, they painted the submarine with the numbers 571 on gray, topside plating after leaving their base at Seattle, Washington. They confirmed their underwater navigation by occasional observations of the stars, admitted important official radio messages from antennas and revitalized air supply with the snorkel. Among the thirty films they have brought, the submarine movie titled "Hell and High Water," was the first film they have watched during their voyage.
