After the departure of Kotzig and Rosa, the leadership of the seminar was assumed by Juraj Bosák, originally a student of Kotzig, later his long-time collaborator, and an active member of the seminar from its very beginnings. Kotzig and Bosák were among the first to present lectures at a graph theory conference (with Kotzig delivering the first talk in 1963, in Smolenice, Slovakia). Many young Slovak mathematicians benefited from these contacts, and had Kotizig and Rosa not left, the development of graph theory in Slovakia at the international level may have been delayed by many years.
