Abstract

The article presents a case study of the monetary costs of scientific misconduct in Roswell Park Cancer Institute, a National Cancer Center in the U.S. It mentions that the evaluation of the costs of scientific misconduct have been divided into three parts such as conduct of the fraudulent research, investigation, and remediation. It adds that the total cost estimate of the Scott Reuben's fraudulent research approached to 525,000 dollars including faculty and witness salaries.
