The article focuses on the findings of the study conducted by Seth Field of the University of California and colleagues on proteins which bind to a phosphoinositide that occupies in the Golgi membrane in San Diego, California. The study identified two proteins that work to maintain the shape and function of Golgi which include the GOLPH3 and MYO18A. The study mentions that the complex bind of the two proteins generates tension which keeps the Golgi body to function properly.
