Abstract

The article presents a reprint of the article "The Organism Causing Dwarf Bunt of Wheat," by I.I. Conners, which appeared in the periodical "Canadian Journal of Botany." According to a study it was revealed that the organism was different from the common bunt fungus tilletia caries. It mentions that it was likely due to some grass smut, which affected native species of agropyron in Europe and Turkestan.
