2018 has been characterized by the explosive emergence of feminist mobilizations which has become known as "the feminist May" or "the feminist springtime" or --even-- the beginning of a "new feminist wave". The emphasis on domestic violence --at first mainly sexual violence-- characterized the protests that came to life primarily in university settings. A cultural approach to this mobilization helps to shed light on certain aspects that are associated with the scope of this kind of mobilization beyond its institutional "success" or "failure". This leads to the aim of describing the growth and complexity of the violence frame and the possibilities it has on social resonance. Consequently, an analysis was carried out based on the framing process perspective and from the complexity of introducing emotions into the public sphere. Through the qualitative and descriptive methodology, a review of public documents was carried out, fundamentally based on the press from 2018. The analysis was based on four central themes: the construction of offense through arguments, the construction of offense through slogans and images, the direction of interjection and the politicization of emotion. It is concluded that the content of the violence frame that unfolded throughout these mobilizations manages to place the experience of offense as the central focus without allowing it to become the fixation on the place of the victim not on the victim's submission. On the contrary, it is a tremendously mobilizing frame that increases the possibilities of having a sociocultural impact. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
