Background: Mild cognitive impairment (MCI) is commonly defined as a transitional subclinical state between normal aging and dementia. A growing body of research indicates that health behaviors may play a protective role against cognitive decline and could potentially slow down the progression from MCI to dementia. The aim of this study is to conduct a bibliometric analysis of literature focusing on health behaviors and MCI to summarize the factors and evidence regarding the influence of health behaviors on MCI. Methods: The study performed a bibliometric analysis by retrieving publications from the Science Citation Index and Social Sciences Citation Index subdatabases within the Web of Science Core Collection. Utilizing VOSviewer and CiteSpace software, a total of 2,843 eligible articles underwent co-citation, cokeywords, and clustering analyses. This methodology aimed to investigate the current status, trends, major research questions, and potential future directions within the research domain. Results: The bibliometric analysis indicates that research on healthy behaviors in individuals with MCI originated in 2002 and experienced rapid growth in 2014, reflecting the increasing global interest in this area. The United States emerged as the primary contributor, accounting for more than one-third of the total scientific output with 982 articles. Journals that published the most articles on MCI-related health behaviors included "Journal of Alzheimer's Disease," "Neurobiology of Aging," "Frontiers in Aging Neuroscience," and other geriatricsrelated journals. High-impact papers identified by VOSviewer predominantly cover concepts related to MCI, such as diagnostic criteria, assessment, and multifactorial interventions. Co-occurrence keyword analysis highlights five research hotspots in health behavior associated with MCI: exercise, diet, risk factors and preventive measures for dementia, cognitive decline-related biomarkers, and clinical trials. Conclusion: This study provides a comprehensive review of literature on health behavior in individuals with MCI, emphasizing influential documents and journals. Healthcare personnel suffer from an increased risk of stress, burnout, and depression due to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. Studies show that interactive smart textiles help people alleviate their emotions. In this research, we investigate how to utilise interactive textiles to help healthcare workers mitigate their negative feelings. We have designed a smart t-shirt that encourages its wearers to perform body movements to enhance their positive emotions, stimulated by vibrotactile and audio feedback mechanisms. We demonstrate our smart t-shirt's utility by asking healthcare workers (including physicians and nurses) to use it for five consecutive days. Our prototype design supports using it anywhere, including work, home, and other places. We evaluated our smart t-shirt prototype for emotion regulations at work for healthcare workers through an in-situ user study conducted at three hospitals. Results show that using the smart t-shirt positively impacts the healthcare workers' immediate emotion regulation when they experienced emotion fluctuation and provided a more positive attitude towards their work. This study aims to investigate the factors influencing individuals' intention to use Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDC) in the digital economy era from an individual perspective using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) as a framework. The study contributes academically by examining individual intention to use CBDC from the user's perspective, filling a research gap, expanding the TAM's application area and theoretical sources, testing the validity of hypotheses, and introducing technology into behavioral research in social psychology. Managerially, the study provides recommendations for the government and central bank on improving individuals' intention to use CBDC, formulating effective development paths and promotion plans, and enhancing public interest while reducing confusion and worry. The study finds that the technical characteristics and economic attributes of CBDC, such as offline trading, non-forgery, no double spending, irrevocability, and controlled anonymity, have a positive impact on individuals' intention to use CBDC. It also identifies new factors influencing human behavior patterns in the digital economy, such as perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, perceived security, perceived trust, perceived privacy, perceived social influence, and perceived compatibility. Furthermore, the study highlights the importance of understanding individuals' intention to use CBDC in the digital economy era. The growth rate of mobile payments in China has been significant over the past decade, indicating the increasing importance of mobile payments and digital currencies in the Chinese economy and the potential for further growth in the future. The introduction of CBDCs can help facilitate transactions, enhance financial inclusion, and support the growth of the digital economy. Using survey data from China, the author examines how migrant workers respond to violations of labor law in their workplaces. The central puzzle is why, given apparent widespread violations, some workers choose not to pursue remedies. Findings show that only 25% of surveyed workers who experience labor law violations interpret their experiences as labor rights violations. The author argues that the social nature of the employment relationship explains some of this gap: Although workers who share local identities with their employers are more likely to work without employment contracts, they are significantly less likely to interpret these conditions as a violation of their labor rights and interests. This article extends the research on grievance behavior by drawing on research from the sociology of law and immigration to understand how these subjective interpretative processes and social identities outside of the workplace influence grievance behaviors. The development of cooperative relationships among project participants makes relationship norms an important governance mechanism to promote cooperative behavior. However, the research on relationship norms mostly ignored the project network environment established by project participants. A static project network cannot accurately reflect the actual project network state from the perspective of network embeddedness, but the research on the mechanism of cooperative behavior from the perspective of dynamic network embeddedness is limited. Therefore, this study overcame the limitation of static analysis. This paper divided the implementation process of construction projects into early, middle, and late phases. The theoretical model of network embeddedness, relationship norms, and cooperative behavior was tested using sample data from 716 surveys regarding the three phases from China to determine the mechanism of the effect of network embeddedness on cooperative behavior. The research results show that network embeddedness (including structural embeddedness and relational embeddedness) has a direct impact on cooperative behavior. The results also indicate that network embeddedness has an indirect impact on cooperative behavior through relationship norms. Additionally, the results further indicate that the direct and indirect effects of network embeddedness on cooperative behavior are different in different phases of construction projects. With the advance of construction projects, the influence of relational embeddedness increases, whereas the effect of structural embeddedness decreases. The research results deepen the understanding of relationship norms in construction projects and make up for the lack of research on cooperative behavior in construction projects from the perspective of dynamic networks. The research results also provide enlightenment for project participants to fully utilize the network relationships in different phases of construction projects, stimulate the establishment of relationship norms, and promote cooperation. Previous studies have largely ignored the role of small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) and instead concentrated on corporate social responsibility (CSR) in large corporations. In the developing Chinese economy, promoting responsible behavior​ among manufacturing SMEs has taken on greater significance. Using mixed-level probit regression and qualitative comparative analysis, this study examines data from Chinese SMEs between 2010 and 2018. Results show that worker productivity has a positive impact on how public spending and R&D spending are related. The study reveals a wide range of relationships between various SME categories. Results show that public spending and R&D significantly contribute to the economic expansion of Chinese SMEs. Pre-crisis financial flexibility, which has little impact on R&D employment flexibility during a crisis, also undermines the positive relationship between increased R&D flexibility and post-crisis business performance. In the context of the rapid rise of the village revitalization in China, the study examines the impact of grassroots autonomous organizations embedding level and farmer non-agriculture employment on the farmer homestead exit behavior. Based on 421 household surveys in Qionglai, this study obtained three results through empirical analysis. (1) The system embedding level of grassroots autonomous organization and the interests embedding level of grassroots autonomous organization have a significant positive impact on the farmer homestead withdrawal behavior, but the emotion embedding level of grassroots autonomous organizations has a significant negative impact on the farmer homestead withdrawal behavior. (2) The farmer non-agriculture employment level is beneficial for the farmer homestead exit behavior. (3) Further mechanism analysis shows that the non-agricultural employment level plays an inhibitory role in the positive influence of grassroots organizations to mobilize farmers to exit homestead. Therefore, it is suggested that when mobilizing farmers to voluntarily withdraw from the homestead, grassroots organizations should actively improve their embedding level, improve the construction of farmers' social network, and accelerate the accumulation of farmers' material capital. As the main demand side of rural financial services, farmers' cooperatives are an important part of China's rural finance. However, due to the lack of effective collateral, farmers' cooperatives have problems such as difficulty in obtaining loans or expensive loans, which not only hinder the high-quality development of farmers' cooperatives, but also limit the development of regional rural finance. Digital credit as a new financing model can effectively alleviate the problems of difficult and expensive loans and has received wide attention from the government and academia. Based on this, this paper analyzes the digital credit behavior of farmers' cooperatives in detail by applying the "6C" family model to the grounded theory, and constructs a theoretical analysis model of farmers' cooperatives' digital credit behavior. The findings are as follows: The motivation for the digital credit of farmers' cooperatives is that the credit procedures are simple, the loan period is short, and the loan interest rate is low; the condition is the farmers' cooperative reputation advantage and government policy support,; the main form is the participation of cooperatives in short- and long-cycle digital credit; and the consequence is reflected in increasing the income of cooperative members, improving the availability of cooperative loans, promoting cooperative credit building, and achieving sustainable agricultural development. Different participation motivations have different effects on the form of credit. When motivated by simple credit procedures and short loan periods, farmers' cooperatives choose "Huinong e-loan"; when motivated by simple procedures and low loan interest rates, farmers' cooperatives choose "Funong Loan". Different forms of credit will produce different performances. Farmers' cooperatives choosing "Huinong e-loan" will produce economic performance; farmers' cooperatives choosing "Funong Loan" will produce economic performance and social performance. In order to deal with the problem of digital credit of farmers' cooperatives, the government needs to improve the relevant policies and regulations, reduce credit risks, and establish a sound credit system to provide credit guarantees for cooperatives and farmers. Retrofitted super-span old T-shaped concrete beams (RS-OCT beams) are commonly used in highway bridges in coastal cities and offshore zones in China. The realization of a practical ultimate state for this beam under a bending load is still lacking. In this study, a flexural experiment on an original RS-OCT beam subjected to a long-term vehicle cyclical load was conducted in a laboratory. Several interesting phenomena were discovered. Notably, a butt-weld joint typically exists on longitudinal reinforced bars, which may be vulnerable to bending. The RS-OCT beam simultaneously suffered from the double function of atmospheric environment and fatigue during service. Based on the time-dependent and fatigue theories of materials, finite element analysis was performed using the ABAQUS software. The flexural behavior of the RS-OCT beam at various time periods was simulated. Subsequently, the flexural bearing capacities of the beams were calculated. The safety reservation of the RS-OCT beam at various time stages was related to the change in material properties and upgrading of the loading level. Research involving international research communities has been advocated in the field of behavior analysis (Dymond et al., 2000; Martin et al., 2016). The purpose of the present study was to report the status of behavioral research in mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, in terms of number of publications, types of research, and frequency of collaboration with international researchers. Fifteen behavioral journals were selected from the list by Cooper et al. (2020). These were searched by hand to find publications conducted in or authored by researchers from mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan dating from each journal's inception to December 2021. The earliest publication we found appeared in 1980 in The Psychological Record. Over the following four decades (1980–1989; 1990–1999; 2000–2009; 2010–2021), the number of publications per decade increased dramatically and continues in recent years to rise. Publications include research reports, review papers, and conceptual articles, with the majority being basic research reports published in Behavioral Processes. Approximately half the publications involve collaboration with international researchers, mostly in North America. Although previous studies have illustrated the dark side of creativity, intermediary mechanisms have not been sufficiently explored. We used moral licensing theory to expand a new interpretation mechanism of the relationship between creativity and unethical behavior. We tested our hypotheses with an experimental study and a multiwave survey in China. Study 1 (N = 143 postgraduates) showed that creativity increased moral credential. The results of Study 2 (N = 180) replicated Study 1's findings and further showed that the effect of creativity on unethical behavior was mediated by moral credential. Study 2 further expanded the boundary condition of the dark side of creativity from the perspective of perceived prevalence of creativity. Drawing data from a national survey, this study relies on several embedded list experiments to examine the grassroots bribery that the survey respondents tried to hide due to social desirability. The findings from the list experiments are extracted to develop an innovative weighting technique to provide accurate estimations of bribery behavior. It finds that the level of grassroots bribery in public sectors is significantly higher than what people would admit; that the reasons for bribery can be traced to the country's public service distribution, the low risk of practicing bribery, and the rapid increase in disposable income. These findings suggest that grassroots bribery is still a serious issue in Chinese society, and it creates new challenges for effective governance during the country's anti-corruption campaign. In 2021, the northward migration of Asian elephants in southwestern China's Yunnan Province attracted significant public attention. Exploring the behavior of Asian elephants will help to better protect this endangered species and further realize the harmonious coexistence of humans and elephants. Based on the news texts regarding the northward migration of Asian elephants, this study used network text analysis, social network analysis, and grounded theoretical research methods to explore the behavioral characteristics and internal motivations of Asian elephants during their northward migration. The results indicate that: (1) during the northward migration of Asian elephants, moving and foraging are their most frequent behaviors, and foraging may be the chief purpose of the migration. (2) Different behaviors of Asian elephants hide their behavioral choice preferences, including environmental, time, and behavioral preferences. During the migration, Asian elephants mostly move in low-altitude areas, often foraging or migrating around farmland in the afternoon or at night, returning to the mountains to rest in the early morning. Corn, rice, and other crops are their primary food; the change in their eating habits is influenced by the lack of herbs and woody plants inside the protected area. (3) The northward migration behavior of elephant herds is influenced by various factors, such as elephant population expansion, habitat change, and species migration characteristics, and the relationship between conservation and development needs to be balanced. Since the outbreak of COVID-19, mask wearing has become a global phenomenon. How do masks influence wearers’ behavior in everyday life? We examine the effect of masks on wearers’ deviant behavior in China, where mask wearing is mostly a publichealth issue rather than a political issue. Drawing on behavioral ethics research, we test two competing hypotheses: (a) masks disinhibit wearers’ deviant behavior by increasing their sense of anonymity and (b) masks are a moral symbol that reduces wearers’ deviant behavior by heightening their moral awareness. The latter hypothesis was consistently supported by 10 studies (including direct replications) using mixed methods (e.g., traffic camera recording analysis, observational field studies, experiments, and natural field experiment) and different measures of deviant behavior (e.g., running a red light, bike parking in no-parking zones, cheating for money, and deviant behavior in the library). Supported by artificial intelligence and 5G techniques in mobile information systems, the rich communication services (RCS) are emerging as new media outlets and conversational agents for both institutional and individual users in China, which inherit the advantages of the short messaging service (SMS) with larger coverage and higher reach rate. The benefits can be fulfilled through media interactions between business and smart phone users. As a competitor of over-the-top services and social media apps, the adoption of RCS will play a vital role for mobile users. It is important to conduct quantitative research and reveal the behavioral intention to use (BIU) among RCS users. In this paper, we collect 195 valid respondents from university via an offline experiment and then build a structural equation model consisting of task characteristics (TAC), technology characteristics (TEC), task-technology fit (TTF), performance expectancy (PE), perceived risk (PR), perceived trust (PT), perceived convenience (PC) and satisfaction (SA). We find that SA, PC and PE have direct impact on BIU. TTF has indirect path connecting to BIU via PE and SA. The impacts of PT and PR on BIU are not significant. Performance results show that our proposed model could explain 49.2% and 63.1% of variance for SA and BIU, respectively. Through revealing the influencing factors of BIU, we can point out the user perception of the brand-new interactive channel and then provide the guidance for the large-scale commercialization of 5G RCS. Protecting cultivated land is an urgent mitigation measure for China to reconcile the contradiction between food safety and carbon neutrality. In the context of carbon neutrality, this paper constructs an evolutionary game model among local governments, agricultural technology service organizations (ATSOs), and farmers based on China's cultivated black land, and discusses the factors influencing the strategy choice of each stakeholder group and the final form of evolutionary stabilization strategies adopted by each stakeholder from the perspective of agricultural extension. Through numerical simulations, we reveal that two stable situations exist in the current state of protection of cultivated black land in China: full subject participation and government subject participation only. In order to achieve the optimal realization of the dynamic equilibrium of the three parties, we identify the key issues of cultivated land protection (CLP) and put forward reasonable suggestions, which are summarized as follows: (1) prohibit the excessive subsidies to farmers, and keep the appropriate subsidies at 100~140 CNY/mu to help the protection of cultivated land, if more than 140 CNY/mu is not conducive to the participation of local governments in CLP (mu, a Chinese unit of land measurement that equals to 1/15 a hectare); (2) an increase in the farmers' fines has a dampening effect on farmers digging black soil, and the game model achieves the ideal equilibrium when it reaches 10 billion CNY, which can be implemented as a long-term cultivated land protection policy; (3) maintaining the incentive fund at 5 billion CNY provides the greatest incentive for ATSOs to promote low-carbon agricultural technologies (LCAT), while the production trusteeship subsidies has no beneficial impact on ATSOs; (4) reducing production trusteeship costs and not increasing service charges is the most effective way of incentivizing ATSOs to promote LCAT. This means the service fee is maintained at 400 CNY/mu and the service cost is reduced to 308 CNY/mu. This study reveals the inner mechanism of CLP, provides a theoretical basis for the promotion of CLP technology, and proposes effective cultivated land protection suggestions, aiming to improve the overall implementation effect of CLP in China and help carbon neutrality. Although the effects of pro-organizational motives on pro-organizational behaviors [i.e., unethical pro-organizational behavior (UPB) and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB)] and their boundaries have been explored to some extent, extant studies are rather piecemeal and in need of synthesis and extension. Based on prior motivational research on pro-organizational behaviors, we developed a comprehensive contingent model in which moral identity and impression management motives would moderate the links between pro-organizational motives, UPB, and OCB. Adopting a time-lagged design, we collected data from 218 salespeople in an internet technology service company in China. Results showed that pro-organizational motives were positively related to UPB and OCB. Moral identity weakened the impact of pro-organizational motives on UPB but strengthened the influence of pro-organizational motives on OCB. Furthermore, we found that impression management motives strengthened the effects of pro-organizational motives on UPB and OCB, and the interaction of impression management motives and pro-organizational motives was stronger on UPB than on OCB. Although research in the feedback-seeking behavior literature has primarily focused on feedback-seeking from supervisors, some emerging works have begun to explore the benefits of coworker feedback-seeking behavior. Based on the social exchange theory, we investigated how and when seeking feedback from coworkers will benefit the seekers. Using a sample of 327 teachers from China, we find that seeking feedback from coworkers is positively associated with task performance and workplace well-being. Seeking feedback from coworkers is also positively associated with coworker relationship. Moreover, the coworker relationship mediates the effects of seeking feedback from coworkers and task performance and workplace well-being, and moderates the strength of the relationship between seeking feedback from coworkers on task performance and workplace well-being. Drawn upon optimum stimulation level theory, and in view of the impact of mobile terminal usage on tourist decision-making, the present study aims to investigate how personality (i.e., sensation seeking) influences tourist trip planning behavior (i.e., tourist planfulness) in the mobile era. A sample of 344 respondents in China completed measures of sensation seeking, travel risk perception, smartphone usage, as well as tourist planfulness. Results indicated that sensation seeking was negatively associated with tourist planfulness and travel risk perception partially mediated this association. Besides, both the direct effect of sensation seeking on tourist planfulness and the indirect effect of travel risk perception were moderated by smartphone usage, in that these effects were stronger for tourists with a high-level of smartphone usage than those with low-level smartphone usage. This study can significantly advance existing research on tourist behavior from the perspective of personality and reconfiguring our traditional understanding on tourist decision-making in the mobile era. Based on the microdata of Chinese listed enterprises from 2012 to 2017, we empirically examine the nonlinear relationship between institutional ownership and enterprise innovation. We find that institutional ownership has an inverted-U nonlinear relationship with enterprise patenting when enterprise characteristics and fixed effects such as time, region, industry type and ownership type of enterprises (SOE or NSOE) are controlled and the endogeneity is considered. This nonlinear relationship significantly varies among active, passive, pressure-resistant and pressure-sensitive groupings of institutional investors. Employing the mediation model proposed by Hayes and Preacher (2010) [Quantifying and testing indirect effects in simple mediation models when the constituent paths are nonlinear. Multivariate Behavioral Research, 45(4), 627–660], we further investigate the mediating effects of financing constraints and R&D manipulation. The results show that institutional ownership linearly drives enterprise innovation by alleviating financing constraints but nonlinearly affects the enterprise innovation by manipulating R&D activities. Nowadays, pitch motors play an important role in many manufacturing plants. To ensure the other components run normally, it is urgent to automatically monitor the running state of pitch motors and early warning faults to avoid huge losses at a later period. Based on the normal behavior modeling technique, this paper studies the status monitoring of the pitch motors. Based on the fact that the state of the motor varies with time, we propose to train an echo state network with the SCADA data to predict the temperature of the pitch motor. Subsequently, the EWMA (exponentially weighted moving average) technique is used to set the alarm limit lines of each parameter. By employing some real data collected in a wind farm in China to conduct experiments, the results show that in comparison with several other methods, the proposed method can more effectively identify and early warn the faults of the pitch motor. Unethical pro-organizational behavior is one of the core factors that affect organizational development. Although enterprises and researchers have done a lot of work, a quantitative and systematic assessment of unethical pro-organizational behavior research is still lacking, this review conducts a bibliometric analysis to describe the characteristics and trends of unethical pro-organizational behavior research in business and management, such as publication trend analysis, co-citation analysis, keywords co-occurrence analysis, and citation burst analysis. The results show that 89 articles and 4,523 references from 49 journals contributed by 254 authors are identified. The number of publications has increased significantly since 2019. The China and United States are the most productive country. Umphress E and Yam C are the most influential authors. "Journal of Business Ethics and Frontiers in Psychology" are the most influential journal, 26 words in 516 keywords constitute the strongest set of terms available, Keyword co-occurrence analysis found ethical decision-making, the measurement, and impact of unethical pro-organizational behavior, the antecedents of ethical leadership are worthy and prospective potential trends. These findings provide a systematically, transparently, and visually reviewed the landscape and development process of unethical pro-organizational behavior research, which may help researchers and practitioners to understand unethical pro-organizational behavior in business management and provide a new perspective for future research. Long-span suspension bridges are susceptible to wind loads due to their lightweight, low stiffness, and small structural damping. Recently, two large-span suspension bridges in China that closed for several months due to COVID-2019 experienced large-scale and continuous vortex-induced vibration shortly after reopening to traffic, and the traffic was closed again for safety consideration, which has aroused widespread concerns in society. To provide a reference for owners and related decision-making departments whether to restore the traffic, this article intends to explore the impact mechanism of traffic loads on the dynamic behavior of suspension bridges. First, two mechanical models for suspension bridges considering traffic loads and structural damping are proposed in this article. Then, based on the extended dynamic stiffness method, the explicit expressions of modal damping ratio in the two models are derived for the first time. Subsequently, Wittrick–Williams algorithm is employed to solve the frequency equation to obtain the modal frequency of the structure that considers the effect of traffic loads. A numerical case is studied to inspect the influence of traffic loads on the structural dynamic characteristics. Moreover, field monitoring data of accelerations of a suspension bridge are utilized to demonstrate the reasonability and accuracy of the approach proposed. Analysis shows that the theoretical results are consistent well with the measured ones, which indicates the traffic loads will affect the dynamic characteristics of the suspension bridge, thus reducing the modal frequency and increasing the modal damping ratio. Besides, the measured results further explain that the contribution of traffic loads to the structural damping is significant, which has a positive effect on preventing and eliminating vortex-induced vibration response. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the mechanism of shared leadership on team members' innovative behavior. Design/methodology/approach: Paired questionnaires were collected from 89 scientific research teams in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region of China at two-time points with a time lag of 4 months. Then multilevel structural equation model method was applied to analyze the multiple mediating effects. Findings: This study finds that: the form of shared leadership in scientific research teams of universities; shared leadership has a positive impact on team members' innovative behavior; there are multiple mediations in the relationship including synchronization and sequence of creative self-efficacy and achievement motivation. Originality/value: According to the "stimulus-organism-response" model, this paper has constructed a multi-level theoretical model that shared leadership influences individual innovation behavior and reveals the "black box" from the perspective of psychological mechanism. It not only verifies that "can-do" shapes "willing to do" but also makes up for the gap of an empirical test of the effectiveness of shared leadership in scientific research teams of universities. Besides, the formal scale of shared leadership in the Chinese situation is revised, which can provide a reference for future empirical research on shared leadership. Purpose: Although domestic research on Chinese management is emerging, a suitable domestic theory is still needed to support and explain Chinese management practice. Given that, this paper aims to extract ideas of cultivation from Confucianism and propose a theoretical framework of self-cultivation with a purpose to provide new explanations for domestic (nondomestic as well) management practice. Design/methodology/approach: Drawing from pre-Qin cultivation discourse and management practice, this paper develops a theoretical framework of self-cultivation and discusses its implications. Findings: This paper argues that self-cultivation emphasizes self-consciousness, initiative and selflessness. It also includes self-reflection, self-discipline, self-study and self-improvement, as well as self-dedication, all of which reflect the ideal realm of "self-cultivation." This "realm" refers to the process of pursuing an ideal personality and high moral standards. Purpose: Although acquisition of Chinese lexical tones by second language (L2) learners has been intensively investigated, very few studies focused on categorical perception (CP) of lexical tones by highly proficient L2 learners. This study was designed to address this issue with behavioral and electrophysiological measures. Method: Behavioral identification and auditory event-related potential (ERP) components for speech discrimination, including mismatch negativity (MMN), N2b, and P3b, were measured in 23 native Korean speakers who were highly proficient late L2 learners of Chinese. For the ERP measures, both passive and active listening tasks were administered to examine the automatic and attentioncontrolled discriminative responses to within- and across-category differences for carefully chosen stimuli from a lexical tone continuum. Results: The behavioral task revealed native-like identification function of the tonal continuum. Correspondingly, the active oddball task demonstrated larger P3b amplitudes for the across-category than within-category deviants in the left recording site, indicating clear CP of lexical tones in the attentive condition. By contrast, similar MMN responses in the right recording site were elicited by both the across- and within-category deviants, indicating the absence of CP effect with automatic phonological processing of lexical tones at the pre-attentive stage even in L2 learners with high Chinese proficiency. Conclusion: Although behavioral data showed clear evidence of categorical perception of lexical tones in proficient L2 learners, ERP measures from passive and active listening tasks demonstrated fine-grained sensitivity in terms of response polarity, latency, and laterality in revealing different aspects of auditory versus linguistic processing associated with speech decoding by means of largely implicit native language acquisition versus effortful explicit L2 learning. Incorporating vertical environmental protection pressure, fiscal pressure, and government environmental regulatory behavior into a unified research framework, this paper empirically tests local governments' regulatory behavior on sulfur dioxide under incompatible dual pressures using data of 30 regions in China from 2003 to 2017. The results show that as the vertical environmental protection pressure increases, local governments will improve the regulation intensity on sulfur dioxide. However, as local governments' fiscal pressure increases, the effect of vertical environmental protection pressure on local governments' environmental regulations will be weakened. Based on the "neighborhood imitation effect," the impact of neighboring regions is considered when measuring fiscal pressure. The results still show that fiscal pressure will weaken the improving effect of vertical environmental protection pressure on the local government's environmental regulation. After controlling the endogenous problem and a series of robustness tests, the above conclusions are still valid. The results indicate that improving the status of environmental protection in the performance evaluation is an effective means to promote the implementation of environmental regulations by local governments. However, China's environmental governance cannot depend solely on improving the proportion of environmental protection in performance evaluations of local officials. A reasonable promotion incentive mechanism should be designed to avoid the incompatibility pressure caused by conflicting tasks to distort the local government's compliance with the central government's pollution control intention. Distributed Virtual Reality (DVR) is a combination of network and virtual reality technology, it could facilitate to construct a uniformly shared Distributed Virtual Environment (DVE) by using network to connect geographically distributed multiplayers. This paper concentrates on the theoretical research and practical development about Multiplayer Virtual Intelligent System (MVIS), and the main contribution could be summarized as two points. (1) Based on the DVR technology, this paper presented some theoretical research on MVIS, including the classification of virtual entities, communication pattern of entities, and the behavioral consistency research. Furthermore, a Multiplayer Earliest Deadline First (MEDF) program was proposed in order to guarantee the consistency of entities. (2) A prototype algorithm experiment system, called Multiplayer Graph-algorithm Intelligent System (MGIS), was designed. MGIS not onlyefficiently solves many problems in traditional computer algorithm teaching, such as high-abstraction, difficulty to understand, and lack of interaction mechanism; but also extends the application of DVR to cultural tourism, because MGIS is developed on the 3D scene of Lushan Mountain, which is one of the notable tourist attractions in China, and was included in the UNESCO World Heritage list in 1996. Servant leadership has become an increasingly popular construct in organizational behavior research because of its effectiveness in organizations. Using self-determination theory and broaden-and-build theory, we proposed a moderated mediation framework in which the leader's sense of accomplishment would mediate the relationship between servant leadership behaviors and the leader's innovative behavior. The leader's extraversion was used as the boundary condition of the relationship. Participants comprised 232 leaders and their immediate supervisors, working in firms based in northern China. Results show that servant leadership behaviors indirectly influenced leaders' innovative behavior via their sense of accomplishment. In addition, leaders' extraversion strengthened the impact of sense of accomplishment on their innovative behavior, as well as the indirect effect of servant leadership behaviors on their innovative behavior. The previous research has mostly proposed that ethical leadership contributed to less deviant behavior; however, recent studies found that this relationship might not always be significant. Therefore, a deeper and more nuanced investigation of how and when ethical leadership influences deviant behavior is highly warranted. In the present research, drawing on social learning theory as our overarching theoretical framework, we posited that high level of LMX differentiation will impede the effect of ethical leadership on employee deviant behavior, and thus, ethical leadership could reduce employees' deviant behavior in teams with lower LMX differentiation rather than high LMX differentiation. Furthermore, we proposed that the interactive effect of ethical leadership and LMX differentiation on employee deviant behavior is mediated by employee psychological empowerment. More specifically, ethical leadership is more likely to enhance employee psychological empowerment in teams with low LMX differentiation than in teams with high LMX differentiation, and enhanced psychological empowerment contributed to less deviant behavior. Through a multi-source field study via 379 paired samples from the southwest of China, we found support for all of our hypotheses. The innovation power of organization comes from individual innovation behavior. Whether external incentive measures can effectively stimulate individual innovation behavior, researchers have not come to a consistent conclusion. Local colleges and universities in Western China have obvious location disadvantages and limited funds. It is urgent to clearly understand the relationship between external incentives and teachers' active innovation in scientific research in decision-making. Based on this, this study takes the teachers of six local colleges and universities in S Province of Western China as the research object, adopts the convenient sampling method, issues questionnaires to collect data, and uses SPSS 24.0 as the statistical analysis tool. The research results show that external motivation has a significant explanatory power(Statistical interpretation) on teachers' initiative innovation behaviors, autonomous motivation completely mediates external motivation and active innovation behaviors, and the positive explanation power of active motivations of high-medium thinking group is higher than that of low-medium Thinking group. In the "Internet+" era, to understand the difference between the traditional classroom and smart classroom, this study uses the current domestic and foreign classroom teaching behavior research methods as a starting point and analyzes the teaching behaviors in classrooms from six dimensions: resource sharing, teacher lecturing, teacher–student interaction, group cooperation, autonomous learning, and evaluation feedback. A data analysis method is used to conduct a complete statistical study on the teaching behaviors of the 40 lessons selected in the first smart classroom innovation teaching competition in Jiangsu Province, and the analysis results show that there are significant differences in teacher–student interaction, group cooperation, autonomous learning, and evaluation feedback in the smart classroom and the traditional classroom. There is no significant difference in data analysis between resource sharing and teacher teaching, but through further video observation and analysis, the two still show the difference in the actual classroom. Square‐rebar reinforced concrete structures during the republic of China (ROC) (1912–1949) have special material properties and structural characteristics. To perform nonlinear finite element simulations of this special type of structure more accurately, a specialized bond‐slip constitutive model is built. Eighteen central pullout specimens were designed based on the ROC concrete mix proportions and the square‐rebar. Then, the test data were fitted with the universal global optimization method and the minimum Euclidean distance point method was chosen to calculate the inflection point matrix of the bond‐slip constitutive model. Finally, the main factors influencing the bond‐slip behavior of the ROC square‐rebar reinforced concrete were analyzed. The research results show that the corrosion of the square‐rebar produces a negative effect on the whole structure and a modified bond‐slip regression curve considering the size effect is obtained. The research results can provide a scientific basis for the nonlinear calculation of ROC square‐rebar reinforced concrete structures considering the bond‐slip behaviors. As a sustainable transportation system, car-sharing schemes have been attracting increasing attention. A large amount of research and practice has proved that the application and promotion of car sharing can help reduce the number of private cars purchased, increase the utilization rate of automobiles, effectively alleviate traffic congestion, save energy, and reduce emissions. Therefore, research on car sharing is imperative. The logit model is widely used in studies on car sharing and is an effective tool for analyzing traffic problems. This study first introduces the status of research into car sharing and analyzes the potential users and market prospects for shared cars. The study then provides the results from a questionnaire survey in Nanjing, China, to obtain sample data. Finally, a mixed logit model is established to analyze the influencing factors of car-sharing selection behavior. The results show that factors such as an individual's housing situation and income significantly affect car-sharing decisions and that respondents who choose to use shared cars are relatively similar to commuters. The main contribution of this study is to use empirical analysis to determine the key influencing factors of car-sharing behavior in China and to provide practical insights for commercial practitioners and traffic planners. Currently, rural areas in China are experiencing a rapid aging phenomenon and community facilities play an important role in the aging process for rural elderly people. This study combined quantitative and qualitative research by using behavioral observation and mapping methods to analyze the usage patterns of community facilities by the local elderly population in rural environment. The study selected two villages as samples of different kinds of "rurality" in the Zhejiang Province. Behavior maps of facility level were drawn based on specific times. The findings and interpretation discuss on: (1) the usage pattern taking place in the community facilities that demonstrate the time and spatial preferences for certain behaviors of rural elderly people, of which the facilities were divided into three kinds according to the results; (2) activities and the corresponding spatial details inside the public facilities, with the main finding of the elder people's reactions to the physical environments; (3) correspondence analysis was applied to the usage of certain community facilities by the elderly population and the characteristics of the space, and the result shows that places with higher degree of retention, accessibility and identifiability, and with fewer constraints are more favorable for encouraging the use, the variety of activities, and positive interactions among the senior group. In order to trace the research trends and hotspots related to the field of driver behavior research both in China and worldwide, a bibliometric analysis was performed to systematically analyze 7208 scientific papers about driver behavior in the Web of Science database from 1957 to 2018, and the results were discussed from the 6 perspectives of growth trends of publications, geographical distribution, subject categories, institutions, authors and keywords distribution. The results show that research on driver behavior has been increasing rapidly since the 1990 s, but research in Europe and the United States started more than 20 years earlier than in China. Currently, transportation, engineering, computer science and behavioral science have replaced the traditional subject categories, becoming the most important domains in this field. Research on driver behavior focuses on safety and systems using simulation models which is interacted with almost everything concerning traffic operation and safety. The current trend is that more researchers are working on understand the driver-vehicle-system interactions under the environment of connected and autonomous vehicle. Further research is needed to focus on unsafe driving behavior based on driver-vehicle-system interactions. This study will provide scholars in related academia and industry with panoramic knowledge of driver behavior research, as well as research hotspots and future research directions. This study explores the effectiveness of large shareholders' "voting with their feet," in motivating a listed company to alter its non-dividend payout behavior. We show that the split-share structure reform, which changed the company's shares held by controlling shareholders and other large shareholders from nontradable shares to tradable shares, gave large shareholders the ability to exit and therefore could inhibit this behavior. Furthermore, when a company has a higher ownership concentration of controlling shareholders and a lower quality of external auditing, the inhibitory effect is more significant. Purpose: As focal buyers implement sustainable supplier management (SSM) to advance their supply chain sustainability, the purpose of this paper is to provide a more nuanced understanding of how buyers' use of power may incite varying perceptions of justice from suppliers that affect sustainable supplier performance (SSP). Design/methodology/approach: This paper draws on multidisciplinary literature and collects empirical data from 181 supplying firms in China to examine the complex links among power use, justice, SSM, and sustainable performance using partial least squares structural equation modeling. Findings: Both coercive and reward buyer power can facilitate SSM implementation and justice perception moderates the impact of SSM on SSP. Furthermore, coercive power adversely influences justice evaluation, thereby attenuating the effect of SSM on performance. Research limitations/implications: This study complements and extends sustainable supply chain management research by evaluating SSM: on environmental, social and economic performance; from the perspectives of suppliers; and in an emerging market where many suppliers of Western firms are located. It also adds to behavioral SCM research by examining how buyers' exercise of power might influence suppliers' justice perception. Practical implications: To implement SSM, focal buyers cannot simply issue codes of conduct to suppliers and ignore suppliers' disposition to commit to standards. While coercive power might be convenient and tempting for buying firms, managers ought to be judicious in the use of coercion. Originality/value: This is the first large-scale empirical investigation on the links among power use, justice, SSM and sustainable performance from the perspectives of suppliers in an emerging economy. Abstract Mini electric cars (mini-EVs) are gaining popularity in many areas in China (∼4–5 million ownership). Mini-EVs are a class of enclosed vehicle smaller than conventional cars. The average range of a mini-EVs is about 100 km, with a maximum speed ranging from 40 to 60 km/h. Their adoption has generated regulatory uncertainty and their classification is ambiguous. While there have been many studies focused on New Energy Vehicles (NEV) (e.g., battery electric conventional car) acceptance rates, purchase intention, and driving behavior; little research has focused on mini-EVs. This paper relies on structured interviews to shed initial light the motives for mini-EV choice and purchase, model choice, travel behavior, and safety. The intention of this paper is to explore key market issues for further analysis and policy intervention; specifically, we aim to profile users and use patterns to inform policy on vehicle standards, licensing, on-road regulations, and subsidy policy. This is the first paper to do this. In-depth interviews with 34 mini-EV owners in Kunming, China reveal an owner profile that is predominately retired male with high household income. Less than half of users have a driver license. Their purchase motives are mostly driven by their age or physical limitations, the convenience and low cost of the vehicle and charging, and the vehicles' low speed. Most users transitioned from using e-bikes and public transit. Hospitality management research pays much attention to how work-related factors affect employees' extra-role behaviors, while the potential role of work-family factors seems to be neglected. Using a sample of employees and their direct supervisors from several five-star hotels in China, a three-wave survey study was conducted to explore the effects of family motivation on employees' organizational citizenship behaviors (OCBs) and voice behaviors, as well as to clarify the underlying mechanisms. The results show that family motivation stimulates employees to see their jobs as a means to obtain financial rewards to support their families (i.e., job instrumentality) and then to be more concerned about their jobs' security. Further, job security concern would enhance employees' impression management motives, leading to more OCBs toward different targets while inhibiting voice behaviors. One peculiar feature of China's legal system is the existence of "weiquan" or rights-protection lawyers. This small, informal movement comprised of lawyers, academics, and activists emerged in the early twentyfirst century alongside legal reforms that sought to increase the rule of law in China. In general, these lawyers work on civil and political rights cases and often make rights-based claims against the government. In the summer of 2015, the Chinese Communist Party ("CCP") detained over 200 of these rights-protection lawyers, a human rights violation that many observers viewed as a retreat from prior commitments to the development of the rule of law. This Note uses two theoretical frameworks--rational choice theory and behavioral law & economics--in an attempt to explain why the CCP, an authoritarian regime, would allow this movement to develop in the first instance and why, after more than a decade, the CCP reversed course. The human rights literature has generally assumed a rational choice framework when analyzing a State's failure to comply with human rights norms. The major principle of rational choice theory is that an actor will pursue activities that she expects will maximize her utility. Some recent scholarship has used social science research, often referred to as behavioral research, to call this principle into question in the context of human rights. Even though much of the current literature treats these two frameworks as competitors, this Note explores how both rational choice theory and behavioral research offer insights into distinct aspects of a State's decision to deviate from human rights norms. After outlining these two frameworks in Part I, Part II provides background on the development of China's legal system and the CCP's decision to detain China's rights-protection lawyers. Part III utilizes both rational choice and behavioral research to explain why the CCP tolerated the emergence of rightsprotection lawyers and why it seemingly reverted to the expected authoritarian position by cracking down on these lawyers. This Note then concludes with a discussion of the distinct but complementary strategies that rational choice and behavioral research suggest could improve compliance with human rights norms. To protect the environment, China attaches great importance to waste lead-acid battery recycling of electric bikes (e-bikes). If China wants to do a good job in recycling, it cannot do without the strong support of e-bike users. The research introduces recycling convenience into the theory of planned behavior (TPB) to verify the impact of recycling convenience on user behavior. The structural equation model (SEM) was used to investigate the recycling behavior of 429 e-bike users in Tangshan, China. The results show that attitude, subjective norms, and recycling convenience all can affect e-bike users' behavior intention positively and significantly, while perceived behavior control can not affect intention significantly. Simultaneously, this study established the beneficial and significant effects that perceived behavior control and behavior intention can have on e-bike users' recycling behavior. Background: Behavioral medicine in China has developed quickly in the last three decades. Purpose: We briefly summarized the history, the main scope and achievements, and the future development of behavioral medicine in China. Method: We did a literature search and discussed with senior scholars in behavioral medicine in China. Results: The concept and main scope of behavioral medicine in China have been developed largely in accordance with the international perspective. Research in behavioral medicine in China significantly contributed to the better understanding of the relationship between various health behavioral factors and psychosomatic disorders and possible mechanisms of this relationship. The following aspects will be the main areas to be further developed in behavioral medicine in China: (1) Basic theories of behavioral medicine and theoretical mechanisms of higher nervous activities in human behavior regulation. (2) Etiology, pathogenesis, and mechanisms of common diseases that are closely related to human lifestyle behaviors. (3) Assessment criteria for unhealthy and disease-related behaviors. (4) Behavioral therapy of psychosomatic disorders, and rehabilitation technologies of disability. (5) Application of major findings from research of behavioral medical science in clinical practice and in health promotion of the whole society. Conclusion: Behavioral medicine in China, as a multidisciplinary subject, plays a relevant role in preventing behavior-related psychosomatic diseases and in promoting health of the public. The purpose of this study is to investigate the phenomena of drug abuse among secondary students in Hong Kong using a social control approach. This study is based on the Hong Kong Youth Health Behaviors Survey, which was a self-administered web-based survey carred out in May-July, 2010. The survey was targeted at two cohort of students, 14 years old (secondary 2) and 16 years old (secondary 4), within the Hong Kong public school system. A total of 31 secondary schools participated in the study and 2,084 secondary 2 and 1,466 secondary 4 students completed the survey. This study employs structural equation modeling to analyze the data. Major findings are as follows. First, resilient factors, namely, values and self-efficacy, both contribute negatively to drug abuse. Second, protective factors, namely, parental, school and peer support factors contribute negatively to drug abuse, and the school support factor is particularly prominant. Third, risk factors, namely, psychosomatic symptoms, study stress and peer influence, all contribute positive to drug abuse, and the peer influence is particularly influential. Finally, values as a resilient factor mediates the contribution of risk factors and protective factors on drug abuse by strengthening the former and weakening the latter. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
