Academic buoyancy has a significant and stable effect on adolescent academic achievement. Thus, it is vital to examine the antecedent variables of academic buoyancy. However, little research has examined the effect of body image dissatisfaction on academic buoyancy. This study investigates the link between body image dissatisfaction and academic buoyancy in Chinese adolescents, focusing on the mediating roles of social anxiety and basic psychological needs satisfaction. Using the Negative Physical Self Scale, the Social Anxiety Scale for Adolescents, the Basic Psychological Needs Satisfaction Scale, and the Academic Buoyancy Scale, questionnaires were administered to 516 high school students in Henan and Hunan provinces in China. The results revealed that: (1) basic psychological needs satisfaction mediated the relationship between body image dissatisfaction and academic buoyancy among Chinese adolescents; (2) social anxiety and basic psychological needs satisfaction had a serial mediating role between body image dissatisfaction and academic buoyancy among Chinese adolescents. This research provides a pioneering exploration of the effect of body image dissatisfaction on academic buoyancy and its mechanisms. Implications for secondary school education practices and directions for future research are discussed.

Research has focused on how English proficiency influences Chinese people's education and occupational opportunities and choices. However, little is known about how it impacts the matchmaking practice in such context. Drawing on Bourdieu's theory of capital, this study examines the role of English in the biggest matchmaking market in Shanghai, China. Field study was conducted in People's park in Shanghai. Information regarding marriage candidates' English competence as presented on matrimonial posters was collected and subjected to further grounded-theory based thematic analysis. The results reveal that English competence is primarily advertised as a form of institutionalized cultural capital (e.g., the possession of particular jobs, certificates, degrees, or citizenship) to boost candidates' socioeconomic status, and used as a gatekeeper to weed out "disqualified" candidates, meaning that non-English speaking candidates may be rejected as ineligible for matchmaking opportunities. Although equitable access to healthcare is considered key to the health of internal migrants, more concerted efforts are needed to improve the accessibility of healthcare in low- and middle-income countries. The software CiteSpace was used to analyze scientific literature on healthcare utilization among internal migrants in China since 2000. We focused on factors influencing access to healthcare, including geographical, economic, sociocultural, and institutional aspects. The government is urged to play a role in ensuring equal access to healthcare through policies, resource distribution, and information technology. Improving the accessibility of healthcare for internal migrants and achieving egalitarian goals is of great significance to promoting public health and fostering social equity and inclusivity. Objectives: Women with ovarian cancer (OC) have experienced unprecedented challenges since the novel coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) outbreak in China. We aim to evaluate the experience of psychological status, physical symptoms and quality of life (QoL) and investigate the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on OC patients receiving olaparib. Methods: The survey was conducted online from April 22 to May 12 in 2020. Demographic and clinical questions were listed to collect general information. The degree of insomnia, depression, anxiety, stress symptoms and QoL were assessed by the Chinese versions of the Insomnia Severity Index, the Patient Health Questionnaire-9, the Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7, the Impact of Event Scale-Revised, and the General Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy, respectively. Multivariate logistic regression analysis was conducted to analyze the risk factors for mental distress and QoL. Results: A total of 56 respondents coming from 15 various provinces in China participated in the survey. The prevalence of insomnia, depressive, anxiety, stress symptoms and reduced QoL were 37.5, 51.8, 37.5, 30.4, and 51.8%, respectively. Unfavorable disease status, shorter period of olaparib administration, adverse events of olaparib and delay in cancer care were correlated with mental health problems. Reduced QoL was also significantly associated with psychological distress. Conclusions: This study emphasized that mental health problems and reduced QoL should gain more attention in women with OC who are receiving oral olaparib at home. Scallops are economically important shellfish widely cultured in China. In this study, the agglomeration characteristics of the scallop aquaculture industry in Chinese coastal provinces were explored based on data from the China Fishery Statistical Yearbook from 2012 to 2020 and the comparative advantage and concentration level of the scallop breeding industry. The data were analyzed using the comprehensive relative advantage index, location entropy, and industrial concentration degree method. Two main results revealed that Hebei Province had the highest comparative advantage in terms of efficiency, followed by Fujian, Guangdong, Shandong, Guangxi, Liaoning, and Zhejiang Provinces. Hebei Province had the highest comparative advantage in scale, followed by Liaoning, Shandong, Hainan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian, and Zhejiang Provinces. Additionally, the scallop cultivation industry in Hebei, Shandong, and Liaoning Provinces showed a high concentration, and the proportion of scallop production in the national production (CR4) in the three provinces, as well as in Guangdong, accounted for more than 99% year-round. Bovine tuberculosis (bTB) is a major chronic bacterial disease in cattle and is the major economic and animal welfare issue in the world. Although the economic costs and public health safety risks associated with the disease are considerable, the overall epidemiology of the Chinese yak (Bos grunniens) bTB is unclear. To fully reveal the basic prevalence of yak bTB in different regions of China, we searched five databases including PubMed, Science Direct, CNKI (China National Knowledge Infrastructure), Wanfang and Chongqing VIP. Based on the incidence and prevalence of yak tuberculosis in China from 1982 to 2020, a meta-analysis of yak bTB in China was established for the first time. By formulating the search formula, 97 studies were searched in five databases. According to the established exclusion criteria and excluded comments and repeated and irrelevance research, we finally selected 19 cross-sectional studies, which showed the prevalence of bTB in Chinese yaks. Random-effect meta-regression model analysis showed that the estimated prevalence of 122,729 yaks in China was 1.0 (95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.0-1.0). The regional prevalence varies greatly, northwest China prevalence rate 0. 39% (95% CI: 0.2-0. 64) and southwest China prevalence rate 2.59% (95% CI: 1.94-3.34); in terms of province level, the prevalence was highest in Tibet 2.59% (95% CI: 1.94-3.34), followed by Xinjiang 2.36% (95% CI: 0.86-4.58), and Shanxi has the lowest 0.00% (95% CI: 0.00-0.98). This systematic review and meta-analysis identified the estimated prevalence of bTB in Chinese yaks and estimated the underlying factors associated with bTB, including geographic location, sampling year, age, and TB detection method. Species assemble into communities through ecological and evolutionary processes. Phylogenetic niche conservatism--the tendency of species to retain ancestral ecological distributions--is thought to influence which species from a regional species pool can persist in a particular environment. We analyzed data for seed plants in China to test hypotheses about the distribution of species within regional floras. Of 16 environmental variables, actual evapotranspiration, minimum temperature of the coldest month, and annual precipitation most strongly influenced regional species richness, phylogenetic dispersion, and phylogenetic diversity for both gymnosperms (cone-bearing plants) and angiosperms (flowering plants). For most evolutionary clades at, and above, the family level, the relationships between metrics of phylogenetic dispersion (i.e., average phylogenetic distance among species), or phylogenetic diversity, and the 3 environmental variables were consistent with the tropical niche conservatism hypothesis, which predicts closer phylogenetic relatedness and reduced phylogenetic diversity with increasing environmental stress. The slopes of the relationships between phylogenetic relatedness and the 3 environmental drivers identified in this analysis were steeper for primarily tropical clades, implying greater niche conservatism, than for primarily temperate clades. These observations suggest that the distributions of seed plants across large-scale environmental gradients in China are constrained by conserved adaptations to the physical environment, i.e., phylogenetic niche conservatism. The article reports on the introduction of inactivated poliovirus vaccine (IPV) and its impact on the risk for vaccine-associated paralytic poliomyelitis (VAPP) in Beijing, China, from 2014 to 2016. The government introduced IPV into the city's Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) in December 2014. Acute flaccid paralysis surveillance was used to identify VAPP cases in the city during the period.

Coal and rock mass fracturing is an important technology on exploiting coalbed methane (CBM), because there are large numbers of natural cracks in coal and rock mass, the extension and evolution rule of cracks is very complicated. In order to describe the rule of cracks evolution accurately, different groups of cracks were considered in this paper, and base on mutation theory, the model of coal and rock mass fracturing and energy release are established. Hypothesis that the releasing energy is all transferred to crack propagation and evolution. According to energy conservation principle, calculation method for micro-cracks length and number in coal and rock mass mutation behavior is been established. Taking coal samples which were taken from right lane six, 3# layer, west block three, Zhangchen mine, Jixi, Heilongjiang as research objects, through calculation, the evolution parameters of coal and rock mass micro-cracks are obtained, and the rationality of the theoretical model presented in this paper is verified by laboratory fracturing experiments. After calculation, number error of micro-cracks is about 0.27%, and the energy error is about 5.42%. NPC (nasopharyngeal carcinoma) is a common malignancy in southern China without defined aetiology. Recent studies have shown that TGFBR3 (transforming growth factor type III receptor, also known as betaglycan), exhibits anticancer activities. This study was to investigate the effects of TGFBR3 on NPC growth and the mechanisms for its actions. Effects of TGFBR3 overexpression on cell viability and apoptosis were measured by MTT [3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)- 2,5-diphenyl-2H-tetrazolium bromide], AO/EB (acridine orange/ethidium bromide) staining and electron microscopy in human NPC CNE-2Z cells. The expression of apoptosis-related proteins, p-Bad, Bad, XIAP (X-linked inhibitor of apoptosis), AIF (apoptosis-inducing factor), Bax and Bcl-2, was determined by Western blot or immunofluorescence analysis. Caspase 3 activity was measured by caspase 3 activity kit and [Ca2+ ]i (intracellular Ca2+ concentration) was detected by confocal microscopy. Transfection of TGFBR3 containing plasmid DNA at concentrations of 0.5 and 1 μg/ml reduced viability and induced apoptosis in CNE-2Z in concentration- and time-dependent manners. Forced expression of TGFBR3 up-regulated pro-apoptotic Bad and Bax protein, and down-regulated anti-apoptotic p-Bad, Bcl-2 and XIAP protein. Furthermore, transient overexpression of TGFBR3 also enhanced caspase 3 activity, increased [Ca2+ ]i and facilitated AIF redistribution from the mitochondria to the nucleus in CNE-2Z cells, which is independent of the caspase 3 pathway. These events were associated with TGFBR3-regulated multiple targets involved in CNE-2Z proliferation. An integrated inventory of atmospheric antimony (Sb) emissions from anthropogenic activities in China is compiled for the years 2005-2009. Emissions are estimated for all major anthropogenic sources for the first time. We estimate that the national emissions of antimony are 818 metric tons (t) in 2009, with the largest contribution from coal combustion at 61.8% of the total, while 26.7% of Sb is emitted from nonferrous metals smelting. Emissions are heaviest in Guizhou province, mainly due to small-scale combustion of high-Sb coal without emission control devices, and in Hunan province, where extensive smelting occurs. Furthermore, Sb emissions from 2188 large point sources and area sources are distributed within latitude/longitude-based grids with a resolution of 30 mm × 30 nm where Sb emissions are largely concentrated in highly populated and industrialized southwestem China, the east central region, and coastal areas. The uncertainties in our bottom-up inventory are quantified as —11% to 40% by Monte Carlo simulation. Background: Dengue fever has been a major public health concern in China since it re-emerged in Guangdong province in 1978. This study aimed to explore spatiotemporal characteristics of dengue fever cases for both indigenous and imported cases during recent years in Guangdong province, so as to identify high-risk areas of the province and thereby help plan resource allocation for dengue interventions. Methods: Notifiable cases of dengue fever were collected from all 123 counties of Guangdong province from 2005 to 2010. Descriptive temporal and spatial analysis were conducted, including plotting of seasonal distribution of cases, and creating choropleth maps of cumulative incidence by county. The space-time scan statistic was used to determine space-time clusters of dengue fever cases at the county level, and a geographical information system was used to visualize the location of the clusters. Analysis were stratified by imported and indigenous origin. Results: 1658 dengue fever cases were recorded in Guangdong province during the study period, including 94 imported cases and 1564 indigenous cases. Both imported and indigenous cases occurred more frequently in autumn. The areas affected by the indigenous and imported cases presented a geographically expanding trend over the study period. The results showed that the most likely cluster of imported cases (relative risk = 7.52, p<0.001) and indigenous cases (relative risk = 153.56, p<0.001) occurred in the Pearl River Delta Area; while a secondary cluster of indigenous cases occurred in one district of the Chao Shan Area (relative risk = 471.25, p<0.001). Conclusions: This study demonstrated that the geographic range of imported and indigenous dengue fever cases has expanded over recent years, and cases were significantly clustered in two heavily urbanised areas of Guangdong province. The U-Pb age and Hf isotope data on detrital zircons from Paleozoic metasedimentary rocks in the Lhasa terrane (Tibet) define a distinctive age population of ca. 1170 Ma with εHf (t) values identical to the coeval detrital zircons from Western Australia, but those from the western Qiangtang and Tethyan Himalaya terranes define an age population of ca. 950 Ma with a similar εHf (t) range. The ca. 1170 Ma detrital zircons in the Lhasa terrane were most likely derived from the Albany-Fraser belt in southwest Australia, whereas the ca. 950 Ma detrital zircons from both the western Qiangtang and Tethyan Himalaya terranes might have been sourced from the High Himalaya to the south. Such detrital zircon connections enable us to propose that the Lhasa terrane is exotic to the Tibetan Plateau system, and should no longer be considered as part of the Qiangtang-Greater India-Tethyan Himalaya continental margin system in the Paleozoic reconstruction of the Indian plate, as current models show; rather, it should be placed at the northwestern margin of Australia. These results provide new constraints on the paleogeographic reconstruction and tectonic evolution of southern Tibet, and indicate that the Lhasa terrane evolved as part of the late Precambrian-early Paleozoic evolution as part of Australia in a different paleogeographical setting than that of the Qiangtang-Greater India-Tethyan Himalaya system. Alport syndrome (AS) is a progressive renal disease characterized by haematuria and progressive renal failure. An accurate genetic diagnosis of AS is very important for genetic counselling and even prenatal diagnosis. We detected mutation of COL4An by amplifying the entire coding sequence mRNA of peripheral blood lymphocytes using polymerase chain reaction (PCR) in five Chinese AS families who asked for genetic counselling and prenatal diagnosis, then performed prenatal genetic diagnosis for four families. Mutation analysis of the foetus was made using DNA extracted from amniocytes. Foetus sex was determined by PCR amplification of SRY as well as karyotype analysis. Maternal cell contamination was excluded by linkage analysis. Four different COL4A5 gene variants and two COL4A3 gene variants were detected in the five families. Because there was a de novo mutation in family 2, prenatal diagnosis was performed for the other four families. Results showed a normal male foetus for family 1 and family 4, respectively. Results showed an affected male foetus for families 3 and 5, and the pregnancies were terminated. An easier, faster and efficacious method for COL4An gene mutation screening based on mRNA analysis from peripheral blood lymphocytes was established. Prenatal genetic diagnosis was performed in four AS families in China. Prenatal genetic diagnosis was performed in Alport syndrome families in China. In accordance with the actual situation of China's current regulatory system and quality control system, this paper sets forth the relevant recommendations to correctly guide the personal submission of samples for inspection and promote the development of quality inspection system. The geographical location of the Lhasa terrane in the Permian remains a subject of debate. The recognition of the Permian basalts in the Tethyan Himalaya and the Permian volcanic rocks in the Lhasa terrane in southern Tibet together with the geochemistry of these rocks offer some new insights. The Permian basalts in the Tethyan Himalaya show a geochemical affinity with tholeiitic continental fl ood basalts, and are interpreted to have formed in an extensional setting. The new geochemical data and the geographical distribution of these basalts indicate that they probably represent the easternmost extent of the Panjal continental flood basalt province. All of the Permian basalts in the Lhasa terrane show a calcalkaline , high-alumina basalt affinity, with significant negative Nb-Ta-Ti anomalies. These geochemical features, combined with the recent documentation of the Permian Songdo eclogite and sedimentological observations, indicate the existence of a subduction system beneath the central Lhasa subterrane in the Permian. The presence of both extension- and arc-type magmatism of Permian age in present-day southern Tibet is inconsistent with the general view that the Lhasa terrane did not rift away from the northern margin of the Greater India until the Late Permian or Triassic. Instead, we suggest that the central Lhasa subterrane may have been a microcontinent isolated in the Paleo-Tethyan Ocean basin, at least during the Carboniferous--Middle Permian time. BACKGROUNDMarked progress is achieved in understanding the physiopathology of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), which caused a global pandemic. However, the CD4+ T cell population critical for antibody response in COVID-19 is poorly understood.METHODSIn this study, we provided a comprehensive analysis of peripheral CD4+ T cells from 13 COVID-19 convalescent patients, defined as confirmed free of SARS-CoV-2 for 2 to 4 weeks, using flow cytometry and magnetic chemiluminescence enzyme antibody immunoassay. The data were correlated with clinical characteristics.RESULTSWe observed that, relative to healthy individuals, convalescent patients displayed an altered peripheral CD4+ T cell spectrum. Specifically, consistent with other viral infections, cTfh1 cells associated with SARS-CoV-2-targeting antibodies were found in COVID-19 covalescent patients. Individuals with severe disease showed higher frequencies of Tem and Tfh-em cells but lower frequencies of Tcm, Tfh-cm, Tfr, and Tnaive cells, compared with healthy individuals and patients with mild and moderate disease. Interestingly, a higher frequency of cTfh-em cells correlated with a lower blood oxygen level, recorded at the time of admission, in convalescent patients. Intensification of cropland can achieve food security by increasing agricultural production pre-unit yield, thereby slowing down cropland expansion. However, it is also possible to accelerate the cropland expansion due to the increasing net benefits of cropland. The transition of multiple cropping system (MCS) caused by climate change is an important strategy for cropland intensification, its impact on cropland changes needs further in-depth discussion. This research aims to address the following two questions: (1) The transition patterns of the MCS in China against the background of climate change; (2) The impact of the MCS's transition on the change rate of cropland and grain production capacity. Based on meteorological observation data, the Global Agro-Ecological Zones (GAEZ) model is utilized to map the China's MCS to analyze the temporal and spatial variation patterns of MCS under the comprehensive influence of various meteorological factors. On this basis, we investigate the change of cropland area and grain production capacity under the transition of MCS. The results indicate that in the past 20 years, the increase of cropping intensity in China has led to 0.42Mha expansion in the multiple cropping area. Temporally, the probability of maintaining the original cropping system (2000) in 2020 was greater than the probability of transiting (83% > 17%). These transitions occurred more frequently between cropping systems with small gradation differences, and the probability of cross-gradation changes decreased with increasing cropping intensity. Spatially, the MCS exhibited a decreasing trend with increasing distance from the coastline. Although regardless of whether the MCS transiting or maintaining, the cropland area would reduce, the increase in cropping intensity would reduce the cropland area more than the decrease (6.48% > 2.66%). Moreover, we found that the decreased cropping intensity was beneficial to slow down the cropland reduction (4.35%; 2.93%; 5.95% > 2.66%), while increased cropping intensity accelerated the cropland reduction (1.56%; 4.35%; 2.93%; 5.95% < 6.48%). This result was further validated by grid-based statistical regression results (p < 0.05). In regions where the MCS transited, 96% of the cropland decrease was occupied by construction land, and 76% of the cropland expansion was due to the conversion of grassland. Among them, when the cropping intensity increased, although the cropland area reduced even more, the grain production capacity would actually increase by 40.29%, and when the planting intensity decreased, the grain production capacity would decrease by 10.55%. Increasing the cropping intensity of cropland through multiple cropping can increase the comprehensive grain yield under the condition of limited cropland resources. This strategy holds significant promise for bolstering China's food security and fostering sustainable agricultural development. Purpose: Evidence on the benefits of combining celecoxib, a cyclooxygenase-2 inhibitor, in treating advanced cancer is still controversial. This study aimed to establish the efficacy and safety profile of celecoxib in treating advanced cancers. Methods: The PubMed, Embase, and Cochrane databases and abstracts from the American Society of Clinical Oncology and European Society for Medical Oncology were searched for reports dated up to January 31, 2014, to find relevant randomized clinical trials. The outcomes included overall response rate (ORR), 1-year mortality, progression-free survival, overall survival, and toxicities. Fixed-effects metaanalytical models were used when indicated, and between-study heterogeneity was assessed. Subgroup analysis was conducted according to cancer type, treatment pattern, and treatment line. Findings: A total of 11 randomized clinical trials consisting of 2570 patients with advanced cancer were included in the final meta-analysis. Addition of celecoxib to the treatment regimen significantly increased the ORR (pooled risk ratio [RR] = 1.20; 95% CI, 1.06-1.36; P = 0.005) but had no effect on 1-year mortality (RR = 1.02; 95% CI, 0.92-1.13; P = 0.68). Subgroup analysis found that the ORR results were significant with non-small cell lung cancer (RR = 1.29; 95% CI, 1.08-1.54; P = 0.005), colorectal cancer (RR = 1.32; 95% CI, 1.02-1.72; P = 0.037), chemotherapy treatment (RR = 1.22; 95% CI, 1.07-1.39; P = 0.003), and first-line treatment (RR = 1.22; 95% CI, 1.07-1.38; P = 0.003). However, celecoxib increased the risk of cardiovascular events (RR = 1.78; 95% CI, 1.30-2.43; P < 0.001) and anemia (RR = 1.88; 95% CI, 0.95-3.74; P = 0.071). Implications: Celecoxib is beneficial in the treatment of advanced cancers but with increased risk of cardiovascular events. A multiple-year emission inventory of hazardous air pollutants (HAPs), including particulate matter (PM), SO2, NOx, CO, HCl, As, Cd, Cr, Hg, Ni, Pb, Sb, and polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and polychlorinated dibenzofurans (PCDD/Fs), discharged from municipal solid waste (MSW) incineration in China has been established for the period 2003-2010 by using the best available emission factors and annual activity data. Our results show that the total emissions have rapidly amounted to 28?471.1 t of NOx, 12?062.1 t of SO2, 6500.5 t of CO, 4654.6 t of PM, 3609.1 t of HCl, 69.5 t of Sb, 36.7 t of Hg, 9.4 t of Pb, 4.4 t of Cr, 2.8 t of Ni, 926.7 kg of Cd, 231.7 kg of As, and 23.6 g of PCDD/Fs as TEQ (toxic equivalent quantity) by the year 2010. The majority of HAP emissions are concentrated in the eastern central and southeastern areas of China where most MSW incineration plants are built and put into operation. Between 2003 and 2010, provinces always ranking in the top three with largest HAPs emissions are Zhejiang, Guangdong, and Jiangsu. Uplift of the Tibetan Plateau and its influence on our global climate have been the focus of numerous studies. Miocene potassic to ultrapotassic volcanism is widespread in southern Tibet and has been generally attributed to convective removal of collision-thickened Asian lithosphere, which is also responsible for the uplift of the plateau. An implicit assumption of this model is the existence of a hydrous, metasomatized (i.e., phlogopite bearing) lithospheric mantle that remained after the convective thinning and was subsequently heated to form small-volume melts. If such a lithospheric mantle was present in the Miocene, it implies further change since that time, as seismic velocities indicate that cold and strong upper mantle occurs beneath the thick crust in southern Tibet. Here we describe peridotite xenoliths entrained in Middle Miocene ultrapotassic lavas from Sailipu, southern Tibet. The results suggest the existence of hot, highly metasomatized lithospheric mantle beneath southern Tibet during the Middle Miocene, and thus support the idea that convective thinning of the lithosphere was responsible for the uplift of the plateau. The relict mantle was later removed or squeezed northward by the underthrusting Indian continental lithosphere, which terminated magmatism in southern Tibet and played a role in creating the entire plateau. The quantitative measurements of uncertainties regarding the contents of hazardous trace elements (HTEs) serve as a basis for better assessment of the geochemistry and mineralogical characteristics of coals and their environmental impacts. In this paper, by using bootstrap simulation methodology, a quantitative procedure was demonstrated to characterize the variability and uncertainty of HTE (Cd, Cr, and Pb) contents in Chinese coals, which were specified by 27 different provinces and mining areas. Original data samples for Cd, Cr, and Pb contents in Chinese coals were compiled and summarized from the results reported in published literature. Sampling distributions for uncertainties in statistics such as the mean, median, and confidence interval were calculated. The national average contents were estimated at approximately 0.61 µg/g for Cd, 30.37 µg/g for Cr, and 23.04 µg/g for Pb. The ranges of uncertainties for bootstrap samples of national HTE contents were nearly symmetrical, and the ranges of the 95% confidence interval for the arithmetic mean were relatively small, with relative uncertainties of -16.39% to +21.31% for Cd, -10.11% to +11.72% for Cr, and -8.55% to +8.64% for Pb. This shows that the arithmetic mean contents of HTEs in Chinese coals are higher in southern provinces than those in northern provinces, obviously differing because of different coal basins. The high values of HTE contents occur in provinces such as Sichuan, Chongqing, Yunnan, Hubei, and Guangxi. Provinces with low contents are located in northwestern China and include Xinjiang, Qinghai, Gansu, and Inner Mongolia; this can be mainly attributed to the medium moisture content, low ash, and low sulfur content in coals. Several provinces with high HTE contents such as Ningxia for Cd, Guangdong for Cr, and Shaanxi for Pb may be associated with the representativeness of the original data samples. We report 11 new U-Pb zircon ages obtained by sensitive high-resolution ion microprobe (SHRIMP) and laser ablation-inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS) for a large province of Early Cretaceous Comei igneous rocks consisting of basaltic lavas, mafi c sills and dikes, and gabbroic intrusions together with subordinate layered ultramafi c intrusions and silicic volcanic rocks exposed in the Tethyan Himalaya, southeastern Tibet. Available zircon U-Pb ages obtained from various rocks in this province, which has an areal extent of ∼40,000 km2 (∼270 km × 150 km), indicate that the magmatism occurred ca. 132 Ma ago, coeval with the Bunbury Basalt in southwestern Australia. Such a striking similarity in emplacement age, in combination with the tectonic reconstruction of eastern Gondwana ca. 132 Ma ago, allows us to propose that the extensive Comei igneous rocks in southeastern Tibet and the Bunbury Basalts in southwestern Australia may represent the erosional and/or deformational remnants of a large igneous province, which we call the Comei-Bunbury LIP. We argue that this newly identifi ed LIP was likely caused by the Kerguelen mantle plume, which started in the Early Cretaceous and may have played a role in the breakup of eastern Gondwana and the development of the 132 Ma old Weissert oceanic anoxic event. Background: The prevalence of chronic conditions increases rapidly among older population. However, it is unclear how different chronic conditions progression contributes to the health care utilization, and whether intergenerational support modified this relationship. This study aimed to explore the longitudinal link between chronic condition progression and health care utilization, and examine whether intergenerational financial support is a moderator in this relationship among Chinese rural older people., Methods: Data was derived from the Shandong Rural Elderly Health Cohort (SREHC), which was conducted from 2019 to 2020. A total of 2,785 participants were included in this study. Kruskal-Wallis rank tests and generalized estimating equation (GEE) models were employed to analyze the association between chronic condition progression and health care utilization. Moderating effect analysis was performed using GEE model and margins plot., Results: Older people with progressive chronic conditions used more outpatient (no chronic condition to emerging multimorbidity: OR = 1.83; p = 0.028; one chronic condition to emerging multimorbidity: OR = 2.17; p < 0.001; remained multimorbidity while chronic conditions increased: OR = 3.26; p < 0.001) and inpatient services (no chronic condition to emerging multimorbidity: OR = 2.76; p < 0.001; one chronic condition to emerging multimorbidity: OR = 3.40; p < 0.001; remained multimorbidity while chronic conditions increased: OR = 5.32; p < 0.001) than those remained no chronic conditions. Intergenerational financial support may alleviate outpatient utilization of older people with multimorbidity (remained multimorbidity × intergenerational financial support: OR = 0.40; p = 0.013; remained multimorbidity while chronic conditions increased × intergenerational financial support: OR = 0.35; p = 0.019)., Conclusion: This study showed that the changes of chronic condition were associated with health care utilization, and intergenerational financial support moderated this relationship.
