Researchers have found that violent online game addiction has become a serious global problem that negatively affects younger people. This study used a cross-sectional research design to examine the effects of violent online game contact on individuals' academic procrastination. We further explored the mediating role of emotional self-regulation and the moderating role of peer communication in the link between violent online game contact and academic procrastination. A sample of 1132 students completed self-reported questionnaires regarding violent online game contact, emotional self-regulation, peer communication, and academic procrastination. Participants were randomly selected from Guangdong Province, China. Results indicated that violent online game contact was positively correlated with academic procrastination, while emotional self-regulation indirectly affected the relationship. Peer communication played a moderating role in the indirect effect between emotional self-regulation and academic procrastination. The general pattern of this mechanism illustrates that as peer communication increased, the effects of emotional self-regulation on academic procrastination decreased. The findings elucidate how and for whom violent online game exposure is related to academic procrastination. This research demonstrates that violent game contact is an important factor affecting academic procrastination, clarifies the role of peer communication and emotional self-regulation, and provides practical suggestions for preventing academic procrastination in the field of school psychology.

Computer programming and municipal engineering (ME) students' specialised knowledge are still poorly integrated, leading to limited improvement of students' programming abilities. This paper describes an effective attempt in ME at Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology (XAUAT). Students were divided into several teams and required to develop software tools for ME design problems using Visual C++ 6.0. In this teaching approach, students need to identify the solutions by integrating knowledge in mathematics, physics, chemistry, basic engineering science, and ME. Moreover, students should develop programmes with friendly interfaces, essential prompts, and reliable results. The example programmes, positive feedback from the survey, and better performance in the final examination proved that the students' abilities of knowledge application and problem-solving had been developed, and their motivation in learning programming had been improved.

Senecaviurs A (SVA) infection, an emerging infectious disease in pig populations, is characterized by vesicular lesions predominantly affecting the mouth, snout, and hooves of infected pigs, similar to the symptoms of Foot and Mouth Disease Virus (FMDV). This disease first spread into China in 2015, causing great panic in the pig breeding industry. To determine the prevalence of SVA in pig herds in China from 2018 to 2021, a total of 4,901 pig tissue samples were collected from 18 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities (P.A.M.s) for epidemiological investigation, virus isolation and genetic analysis. In 2021, the individual positive rates (IPRs) from the perspective of spatial distribution in East China, South China, Central China, North China, Southwest China, Northwest China, and Northeast China were 0, 0, 1.69, 0.94, 11.70, 3.31 and 2.21%, respectively. The herd positive rates (HPRs) were 0, 0, 9.52, 9.09, 50.00, 7.69 and 23.08%. From the perspective of temporal distribution, the IPR showed an overall downwards trend from 2018 to 2021, with only a slight increase in 2020. Moreover, the HPR decreased from 36.63 to 10.07%. From the perspective of population distribution in 2021, the IPR (2.62%) and HPR (12.00%) in apparently healthy pig herds (slaughterhouses) were greater than those in non-healthy pig herds (2.10 and 5.13%, respectively), consistent with the results in 2019. To characterize the prevalent strains, 10 SVA strains isolated from positive samples in 2019 were clustered in Clades I and VII; SVA-FJ039-2019, SVA-HuN032-2019, SVA-GX011-2019, SVA-FJ036-2019, SVA-GXF011-2019 and SVA-GXF053-2019 were clustered in Clade I; and SVAFJ018-2019, SVA-SD069-2019, SVA-SD072-2019, and SVA-SD074-2019 were clustered in Clade VII. In conclusion, until 2021, the prevalence of SVA in pig herds in China was still relatively high, the contaminated area was still large, and there were a number of hidden infections. * OBJECTIVE: To examine the associations between (1) various types of physical activity and the risk of back pain incidence, and (2) the influence of substituting sedentary behaviors with physical activities on back pain incidence. * DESIGN: A prospective cohort study. * METHODS: We analyzed UK Biobank data collected from 365 307 participants who were free of back pain at baseline. The exposures were total, light, moderate, and vigorous physical activity, and sedentary behaviors. The outcome was back pain incidence. The main statistical models were the Cox proportional hazard model and the isotemporal substitution model. * RESULTS: In the follow-up time (median, 12.97 years; interquartile range, 12.10-13.71), 25 189 individuals developed back pain. The associations between all types of physical activity and incident back pain were significantly nonlinear (P<.001) among the general population and other subgroups. High physical activity was associated with a decreased risk of back pain compared with no physical activity. The lowest risk occurred in the 1801-to-2400 MET-min/week (metabolic-equivalent minutes per week) subgroup of total physical activity (hazard ratio [HR] = 0.64; 95% CI: 0.59, 0.69), approximately consisting of 1200, 600, and 600 MET-min/week of light, moderate, and vigorous physical activity, respectively. Extremely high vigorous physical activity was related to high risk, specifically in males (HR = 1.13; 95% CI: 1.02, 1.25). Replacing 1 hour/day of sedentary behaviors with an equal time of physical activity reduced the risk of incident back pain by 2% to 8% (P<.05). * CONCLUSION: Physical activity was related to a reduced risk of back pain incidence (except over high vigorous physical activity). This study explores the status and lessons learned from veterinary medicine and its One health perspective in academia, comparing the systems of China with the rest of the world. For this purpose, multiple databases, including PubMed, CNKI, Web of Science, etc., were used to analyze various aspects of veterinary education in China. The paper is structured into sections including veterinary medicine in academic institutions, the development of veterinary culture, the status of veterinary education in China, issues and challenges, international comparisons, and optimization suggestions. In this study, a simple approach to the historical evolution of veterinary education in different developmental stages is revealed through a retrospective analysis. The section on the status of veterinary education in China focuses on critical areas such as talent cultivation, practical teaching and internships, educational evaluation systems, professional education, and innovation and entrepreneurship. Through the analysis of challenges and issues in Chinese veterinary education, the paper reveals inadequacies in curriculum systems and imbalances in internship and practical opportunities. Comparing with Europe, America, and developing countries, this paper offers insights and inspirations to guide the 'future development of veterinary education in China. Finally, the paper proposes optimization suggestions, including improvements to the curriculum system, strengthening practical teaching, and promoting international cooperation and exchange. These measures aim to propel Chinese veterinary education towards a healthier, more diverse, and internationalized direction, enhancing the overall quality of veterinary professionals to meet better veterinary workers, nonhuman animals, and one health in societal development. Bergenin is a typical carbon glycoside and the primary active ingredient in antitussive drugs widely prescribed for central cough inhibition in China. The bergenin extraction industry relies on the medicinal plant species Bergenia purpurascens and Ardisia japonica as their resources. However, the bergenin biosynthetic pathway in plants remains elusive. In this study, we functionally characterized a shikimate dehydrogenase (SDH), two O-methyltransferases (OMTs), and a C-glycosyltransferase (CGT) involved in bergenin synthesis through bioinformatics analysis, heterologous expression, and enzymatic characterization. We found that BpSDH2 catalyzes the two-step dehydrogenation process of shikimic acid to form gallic acid (GA). BpOMT1 and AjOMT1 facilitate the methylation reaction at the 4-OH position of GA, resulting in the formation of 4-O-methyl gallic acid (4-O-Me-GA). AjCGT1 transfers a glucose moiety to C-2 to generate 2-Glucosyl-4-O-methyl gallic acid (2-Glucosyl-4-O-Me-GA). Bergenin production ultimately occurs in acidic conditions or via dehydration catalyzed by plant dehydratases following a ring- closure reaction. This study for the first time uncovered the biosynthetic pathway of bergenin, paving the way to rational production of bergenin in cell factories via synthetic biology strategies. Ovarian cancer (OC) is the eighth most common cancer in women, but the mild, non-specific clinical presentation in early stages often prevents diagnosis until progression to advanced-stage disease, contributing to the high mortality associated with OC. While serum cancer antigen 125 (CA-125) has been successfully used as a blood-borne marker and is routinely monitored in patients with OC, CA-125 testing has limitations in sensitivity and specificity and does not provide direct information on important molecular characteristics that can guide treatment decisions, such as homologous recombination repair deficiency. We comprehensively review the literature surrounding methods based on liquid biopsies, which may provide improvements in sensitivity, specificity, and provide valuable additional information to enable early diagnosis, monitoring of recurrence/ progression/therapeutic response, and accurate prognostication for patients with OC, highlighting applications of this research in China. Mining valuable minerals from desalination concentrate is a promising path to improve resource utilization efficiency and reduce the environmental impact. With the rapid expansion of the desalination industry and the improvement of extraction technology, the comprehensive utilization of desalination concentrate is approaching commercial reality. This paper summarized the development status of the desalination industry within and outside China. On this basis, the economic potential of valuable minerals mining from seawater desalination concentrate was estimated. Our results showed that when the in-operation membrane desalination projects in China run at full capacity, the discharge of seawater concentrate is about 1,696,900 m3/d. The high commercial potential chemicals are boron, lithium, and rubidium because of their high concentration and unit price. If continuous production can be achieved, its economic value will be more than desalinated water production. Investors are always chasing excess returns. To examine the three driving factors affecting China A-share excess returns, namely systematic risk, idiosyncratic risk and market sentiment, this study divided A-shares into non-dividend and dividend-paying groups based on the Dividend Paid for Common Shares in the notes of the financial report. In addition, this study used the Capital Asset Pricing model, Single-Index model, Arbitrage Pricing theory and Fama-French three-and five-factor model to analyse the three main driving factors. The Gibbons-Ross-Shanken test was used to test the model validity, and the optimal model for each group was extracted. Our findings show that after analysing the optimal models within each group, it becomes evident that systematic risk indeed exerts an influence on both dividend-paying and non-dividend companies. Nevertheless, when considering four specific systematic risks (inflation, exchange rates, crude oil and interest rates), this study's findings establish that these risks do not significantly impact the stock returns of any company group across all time periods. As for idiosyncratic risks, firm size and book-to-market factors emerge as substantial influencers across all firms. Background: Human microbiome dysbiosis is related to various human diseases, and identifying robust and consistent biomarkers that apply in different populations is a key challenge. This challenge arises when identifying key microbial markers of childhood caries. Methods: We analyzed unstimulated saliva and supragingival plaque samples from children of different ages and sexes, performed 16S rRNA gene sequencing, and sought to identify whether consistent markers exist among subpopulations by using a multivariate linear regression model. Results: We found that Acinetobacter and Clostridiales bacterial taxa were associated with caries in plaque and saliva, respectively, while Firmicutes and Clostridia were found in plaque isolated from children of different ages in preschool and school. These identified bacterial markers largely differ between different populations, leaving only Saccharibacteria as a significant caries-associated phylum in children. Saccharibacteria is a newly identified phylum, and our taxonomic assignment database could not be used to identify its specific genus. Conclusion: Our data indicated that, in a South China population, oral microbial signatures for dental caries show age and sex differences, but Saccharibacteria might be a consistent signal and worth further investigation, considering the lack of research on this microbe. Plant-parasitic nematodes (PPNs) are significant pests that result in considerable economic losses in global crop production. Due to the high toxicity of chemical nematicides, there is a need to develop new strategies for nematode control. In this context, nematophagous fungi may offer a viable option for biological control. Two fungal strains (GUCC2212 and GUCC2232) were isolated from cysts of Globodera sp., identified as Neocosmospora stercicola. The fungal filtrates of the strains were evaluated for their nematicidal activity against three species of PPNs: Aphelenchoides besseyi, Bursaphelenchus xylophilus and Ditylenchus destructor. The fermentation filtrates of two strains exhibited substantial toxicity towards the evaluated nematodes, with mortality rates reaching up to 100% within 72 h. Concurrently, N. stercicola also demonstrated predatory and parasitic behavior. The eggs of Globodera sp. were parasitized by the two strains. N. stercicola represents a newly recorded species in China and a novel nematophagous species. In conclusion, the two strains of N. stercicola show promise as biocontrol agents for PPNs management. Lithocarpus dahuensis, a new Fagaceae species from Fujian Province, China, is described and illustrated. The new species is morphologically similar to L. konishii, but its oblanceolate leaf blade has more pairs of acute teeth on the margin, denser lateral veins, smaller cupules enclosing up to 1/4-1/3 of the nut, and its nut is only half as long as those of L. konishii. The plastome of L. dahuensis was 161,303 bp in length and displayed the typical quadripartite structure. The lack of diagnostic taxonomic characteristics in some species complexes leave the species delimitation of Oxytropis DC. unresolved. Seed morphological features have proved to be useful diagnostic and taxonomic characteristics in Fabaceae. However, there are few systematic studies on the seed characteristics of Oxytropis. Here, we used scanning electron and stereoscopic microscopy to investigate the seed characteristics of 35 samples obtained from 21 Oxytropis species from northwest China. Our examination showed two main types of hilum positions, terminal and central, and five different types of seed shapes: prolonged semielliptic, reniform, prolonged reniform, quadratic, and cardiform. Seven different sculpturing patterns were identified: scaled, regulated, lophate with stellated testa cells, simple reticulate, rough, compound reticulate, and lophate with rounded testa cells. The seeds ranged from 1.27 to 2.57 mm in length and from 1.18 to 2.02 mm in width, and the length-to-width ratio ranged from 0.89 to 1.55 mm. The seed shape was constant within species and was useful for species delimitation within the genus Oxytropis when combined with other macroscopic traits. In contrast, the sculpturing patterns were highly variable at the species level and could not be used for species identification. Results of the cluster analysis and principal component analysis (PCA) indicated that the seed traits of Oxytropis species are useful for taxa identification at the species level, but have low taxonomic value at the section level. Accurate estimations of forest evapotranspiration (ET) and its components, transpiration (T) and evaporation (E), are important for deep understanding and predicting the responses of forest water cycles to climate change. In this study, the improved Shuttleworth-Wallace model (SWH) was applied to estimate ET, T, and E during 2003--2014 in a subtropical planation, and the modeled results were verified using in situ measurements by the eddy covariance technique, sap flow, and microlysimetermethod. The study aimed to clarify whether it is feasible and reliable to use the SWHmodel to estimate and partition ET in forests. In addition, depending on the long-term data, the specific performances in modeling ET under different climatic backgrounds were investigated, and the underlying mechanisms were explored. The results verified that the SWH performed relatively well in the subtropical forest, and the modeled ET, T and E could track the seasonal variations, although overestimations were found in the peak seasons. However, the model was relatively weaker in estimating the interannual variabilities. It performed well in modeling ET in normal years but showed larger model residuals in years with obvious climatic anomalies. In the severe summer-drought (2003) and cold-spring (2005) years, the model greatly overestimated ET. It also overestimated ET in summer since 2010, which may be ascribed to the less dependency of ET on VPD induced by the more humid microclimate in forest accompanied with forest development. For the ET partitioning results, the modeled and measured E and T values were all in reasonable ranges. The possible reasons for underestimations (overestimations) of E and T by measurements (SWH model) were discussed. In this study, the data obtained using different methods and from different scales matched each other and could be cross validated, and the discussion on discrepancies would be beneficial for understanding the advantages and flaws of differentmethods and could be the basis for optimizing themeasurement andmodel methods. In sum, this study verified that it is feasible to use the SWH model in forests and provided a basis for further improving and optimizing the modeled results under different climate backgrounds. Introduction: Measurable residual disease (MRD)-directed interferon-a treatment (i.e. preemptive IFN-a treatment) can eliminate the MRD in patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT). Therefore, this study aimed to further assess its efficacy in a multicenter retrospective study in a real-world setting. Methods: A total of 247 patientswho received preemptive IFN-a treatment were recruited from 4 hospitals in China. The protocols for MRD monitoring mainly based on quantitative polymerase chain reaction [qPCR] and multiparameter flow cytometry [MFC]. Results: The median duration of IFN-a treatment was 56 days (range, 1-1211 days). The cumulative incidences of all grades acute graft-versus-host disease (aGVHD), all grades chronic graft-versus-host disease (cGVHD), and severe cGVHD at 3 years after IFN-a therapy were 2.0% (95% confidence interval [CI], 0.3-3.8%), 53.2% (95% CI, 46.8-59.7%), and 6.2% (95% CI, 3.1-9.2%), respectively. The cumulative incidence of achieving MRD negative state at 2 years after IFN-a treatment was 78.2% (95% CI, 72.6-83.7%). The 3-year cumulative incidences of relapse and non-relapse mortality following IFN-a therapy were 20.9% (95% CI, 15.5-26.3%) and 4.9% (95%CI, 2.0-7.7%), respectively. The probabilities of leukemia-free survival and overall survival at 3 years following IFN-a therapy were 76.9% (95% CI, 71.5-82.7%) and 84.2% (95% CI, 78.7-90.1%), respectively. Multivariable analysis showed that MRD positive state by qPCR and MFC before IFN-a treatment, high-risk disease risk index before allo-HSCT, and receiving identical sibling donor HSCT were associated with a higher risk of relapse and a poorer leukemia-free survival. Severe cGVHD was associated with an increased risk of non-relapse mortality. Discussion: Thus, real-world data suggest that preemptive IFN-a is effective for treating patients with AML with MRD after allo-HSCT. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Largemouth bass (Micropterus salmoides) is an economically important fish species in North America, Europe, and China. Various genetic improvement programs and domestication processes have modified its genome sequence through selective pressure, leaving nucleotide signals that can be detected at the genomic level. In this study, we sequenced 149 largemouth bass fish, including protospecies (imported from the US) and improved breeds (four domestic breeding populations from China). We detected genomic regions harboring certain genes associated with improved traits, which may be useful molecular markers for practical domestication, breeding, and selection. Subsequent analyses of genetic diversity and population structure revealed that the improved breeds have undergone more rigorous genetic changes. Through selective signal analysis, we identified hundreds of putative selective sweep regions in each largemouth bass line. Interestingly, we predicted 103 putative candidate genes potentially subjected to selection, including several associated with growth (psst1 and grb10), early development (klf9, sp4, and sp8), and immune traits (pkn2, sept2, bcl6, and ripk2). These candidate genes represent potential genomic landmarks that could be used to improve important traits of biological and commercial interest. In summary, this study provides a genome-wide map of genetic variations and selection footprints in largemouth bass, which may benefit genetic studies and accelerate genetic improvement of this economically important fish. Danxiaorchis mangdangshanensis, a new mycoheterotrophic species from Fujian Province, China, is described and illustrated. The new species is morphologically similar to D. singchiana, but its callus of labellum is a less distinctive Y-shape with three auricles on the apex, four pollinia that are narrowly elliptic in shape and equal in size, and it lacks fine roots. The plastome of D. mangdangshanensis is highly degraded. Phylogenetic analyses distinguished D. mangdangshanensis from its congeners, D. singchiana and D. yangii, with strong support based on nrITS + matK and plastomes, respectively. Purpose: Leadership research is of interest to academics and practitioners in the construction industry. Based on the ego-depletion theory and authentic leadership theory, the current study aims to investigate the impact of women authentic leadership on leaders' emotional exhaustion and job engagement in the construction industry. Design/methodology/approach: The data were gathered in two waves using a time lag approach. The responses of 276 women leaders-follower dyads from construction firms in China's eastern provinces were analyzed using a moderated mediation model. Findings: Most of the proposed hypotheses were supported by the findings of this study, which showed that authentic leadership can reduce emotional exhaustion in women leaders and increase work engagement through ego depletion. Furthermore, the leader's sense of belonging, according to this study, moderates the mediating effect of ego depletion. Research limitations/implications: This study can help managers, policymakers and human resource professionals think about authentic leadership and its impact on women leaders. Furthermore, ego depletion has an impact on the psychological well-being of authentic women leaders. The sense of belongingness of a leader is critical in buffering the negative effects of ego depletion for women in authentic leadership. Thus, women leaders in construction sector should be encouraged to express a sense of belonging to their followers, since this will improve their work engagement and lessen their emotional exhaustion. Originality/value: This study is unique in that it examines the authentic behavior of women leaders in the Chinese construction sector, which is a challenging profession for women to work in as site managers. This study contributes to the literature on women in leadership by demonstrating how authentic leadership behavior influences the wellbeing and engagement of leaders. In addition, the study indicated that the effect of the mediator (ego depletion) and moderator (leader sense of belongingness) on the relationship between women's authentic leadership and the leader's own psychological wellbeing and job engagement was significant. Aging is a multifactorial process associated with irreversible decline in mobility and cognitive function. However, the mechanisms underlying the relationship between mobility and cognitive function remain elusive. In specific, the mediating effect of muscle strength, which is essential to maintain mobility, on this relationship has yet to be clarified. Accordingly, we performed a cross-sectional study involving Chinese older adults to understand the role of muscle strength in the relationship between mobility and cognitive function. The cognitive function and physical performance of 657 community-dwelling participants aged over 65 years old were observed. Cognitive function was assessed using the Mini-Mental State Examination, whereas physical performance, including mobility and muscle strength, was measured via Timed Up-and-Go Test and knee extension strength measurement. Data were statistically analyzed using PROCESS Model 4 developed by Hayes, and 595 complete data were finally included. Physical performance (mobility and muscle strength) was significantly correlated with cognitive function (p < 0.01). Muscle strength was negatively correlated with mobility (r = -0.273, p < 0.001) and positively correlated with cognitive function (r = 0.145, p < 0.001). Muscle strength accounted for 20.1% of the total mediating effects on the relationship between mobility and cognitive function, which revealed the partial mediating role of lower extremity muscle strength in this relationship. BACKGROUND: Osteoporotic hip fractures have posed a significant burden to society, and more epidemiological data is required. OBJECTIVE: To compare the epidemiological differences of hip fracture patients in Spain and China. METHOD: This was a retrospective comparative study. Comparisons were made in terms of morbidity, demographic and anthropometric characteristics, length of stay, cost of hospitalization, and mortality by consulting the medical histories of osteoporotic hip fractures in two hospitals. The t test was used for measurement data, and the X2 test was used for count data. The difference is statistically significant when p< 0.05. RESULTS: A total of 757 patients were enrolled in this study, with 426 from Virgen Macarena University Hospital (HUVM) and 331 from Xi'an Daxing Hospital (XDH). The average age was 81.4 ± 9.26 and 76.0 ± 8.08 years; the proportion of women was 74.9% and 68.0%, respectively. The incidence of osteoporotic hip fractures in Seville residents over 50 years old was approximately 239 per 100,000 residents, compared to 158 per 100,000 residents in Xi'an. The timing of surgery in Spanish patients was significantly longer than in Chinese patients, 78.7 ± 48.2 vs. 60.7 ± 43.1 hours, p= 0.000. There were 81 deaths in Spain and 43 deaths in China during the one-year follow-up period (p= 0.026). CONCLUSIONS: In terms of incidence, demographics, surgical methods, and mortality, there are significant differences between hip fracture patients in Seville, Spain and Xi'an, China. Animal farms have become one of the most important reservoirs of carbapenemresistant Klebsiella spp. (CRK) owing to the wide usage of veterinary antibiotics. "One Health"-studies observing animals, the environment, and humans are necessary to understand the dissemination of CRK in animal breeding areas. Based on the concept of "One-Health," 263 samples of animal feces, wastewater, well water, and human feces from 60 livestock and poultry farms in Shandong province, China were screened for CRK. Five carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae (CRKP) and three carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella quasipneumoniae (CRKQ) strains were isolated from animal feces, human feces, and well water. The eight strains were characterized by antimicrobial susceptibility testing, plasmid conjugation assays, whole-genome sequencing, and bioinformatics analysis. All strains carried the carbapenemase-encoding gene blaNDM-5, which was flanked by the same core genetic structure (IS5-blaNDM-5-bleMBL-trpF-dsbDIS26-ISKox3) and was located on highly related conjugative IncX3 plasmids. The colistin resistance gene mcr-8.1 was carried by three CRKP and located on self-transmissible IncFII(K)/IncFIA(HI1) and IncFII(pKP91)/IncFIA(HI1) plasmids. The genetic context of mcr-8.1 consisted of IS903-orf-mcr-8.1-copR-baeSdgkA-orf-IS903 in three strains. Single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) analysis confirmed the clonal spread of CRKP carrying-blaNDM-5 and mcr-8.1 between two human workers in the same chicken farm. Additionally, the SNP analysis showed clonal expansion of CRKP and CRKQ strains from well water in different farms, and the clonal CRKP was clonally related to isolates from animal farms and a wastewater treatment plant collected in other studies in the same province. These findings suggest that CRKP and CRKQ are capable of disseminating via horizontal gene transfer and clonal expansion and may pose a significant threat to public health unless preventative measures are taken. Background: The new-generation migrants born in 1980 and later are large and vulnerable internal migrants in China. Migration paths and social integration are important factors to explain for their mental health. However, they faced difficulties in social integration varying from migration paths. We aimed to explore the mediating role of social integration between migration paths and the mental health of new-generation migrants. Methods: The migration paths included urban-to-urban, urban-to-rural, rural-to-urban and rural-to-rural. Mental health was assessed by the Kessler Screening Scale for Psychological Distress (K6) and the Perceived Stress Scales (PSS-4). Social integration was measured by economic integration, life integration, maintenance of the local culture, acceptance of the host culture and psychological integration. Multiple linear regressions with bootstrapping were used to examine the mediating effect. Results: A total of 9,830 new-generation migrants were included in this study. The mean age was 26.92 (SD = 4.47) years and the proportion of rural-to-urban migrants was 63.7%. Compared with the new generation of rural-to-rural migrants, rural-to-urban migrants had higher psychological distress (β = 0.305, 95% CI: 0.152-0.458) and perceived stress (β = 0.328, 95% CI: 0.199-0.456). The bootstrapping test found that two dimensions ("life integration" and "acceptance of the host culture") of social integration as a mediator weakened the negative effect of the rural-to-urban migration path on the mental health of newgeneration migrants. Conclusion: Rural-to-urban migrants had poorer mental health, and the association was mediated by their poorer social integration. Human thermal comfort measures the combined effects of temperature, humidity, and wind speed, etc., and can be aggravated under the influences of global warming and local human activities. With the most rapid urbanization and the largest population, China is being severely threatened by aggravating human thermal stress. However, the variations of thermal stress in China at a fine scale have not been fully understood. This gap is mainly due to the lack of a high-resolution gridded dataset of human thermal indices. Here, we generate the first high spatial resolution (1 km-1 km) dataset of monthly human thermal index collection (HiTIC-Monthly) over China from 2003 to 2020. In this collection, 12 commonly used thermal indicators are generated by the LGBM machine learning algorithm from multisource gridded data, including MODIS land surface temperature, topography, land cover and land use, population density, and impervious surface fraction. Their accuracies were comprehensively assessed based on observations at 2419 weather stations across the mainland of China. The results show that our dataset has desirable performance, with mean R2, root mean square error, mean absolute error, and bias of 0.996, 0.693°C, 0.512°C, and 0.003°C, respectively, by averaging the 12 indicators. Moreover, the predictions exhibit high agreements with observations across spatial and temporal dimensions, demonstrating the broad applicability of our dataset. The comparison with two existing datasets also suggests that our high-resolution dataset can describe a more explicit spatial distribution of the thermal information, showing great potentials in fine-scale (e.g., intra-urban) study. Further investigation reveals that nearly all indicators exhibit increasing trends in most parts of China during the year 2003~2020. The increase is especially stronger in North China, Southwest China, the Tibetan Plateau, and parts of Northwest China, and in the spring and summer seasons. Mycoplasma bovis (M. bovis) is one of the major pathogens in the bovine respiratory disease complex, which includes pneumonia, mastitis, and arthritis and causes a great economic loss in the cattle industry. In China, a liveattenuated vaccine strain M. bovis P150 was obtained by a continuous culture of the wild-type strain M. bovis HB0801 (P1) in vitro for 150 passages. Using the infected bovine macrophage cell line BoMac, this work attempted to investigate the mechanism of P150 attenuation and protective immune response. To begin, we show that M. bovis P150 effectively triggered cytotoxicity and apoptosis in BoMac, although with lower intracellular survival than P1. The transcriptomes of BoMac after infection with M. bovis strains P1 and P150 were sequenced, and bioinformatic analysis identified 233 differentially expressed genes (DEGs), with 185 upregulated and 48 downregulated. Further Gene Ontology (GO) and Kyoto encyclopedia of genes and genomes (KEGG) pathway enrichment analyses revealed that the majority of the DEGs were linked to CHOP complex, MAP kinase phosphatase activity and were involved in the IL-17 signaling pathway in immune response, MAPK signaling pathway in signal transduction, and p53 signaling pathway in cell growth and death. Among them, the level of C/EBP homologous protein (CHOP) was significantly upregulated in P150-infected BoMac compared to P1-infected cells at different time points, along with its upstream and downstream genes phosphorylated-PERK, phosphorylated-EIF2α, ATF4, and GADD45A increased in the PERK-dependent ER stress response. The role of CHOP in apoptosis was further verified by M. bovis-induced siCHOP knockdown in BoMac cells. The results showed that CHOP knockdown enhanced P150-induced apoptosis and dramatically increased the M. bovis P1 and P150 intracellular survival, particularly for P150. These data suggest that P150 infection upregulates CHOP expression, which can increase apoptosis and mediate a crosstalk between ER stress and apoptosis during infection, and hence, contribute to high cytotoxicity and low intracellular survival. The optimization of the business environment helps to create a good market ecological environment and promote industrial development. Based on the theory of institutional complexity, this study constructs the evaluation index system of China's urban business environment and analyzes the influencing factors using the NCA method. It is found that there is no necessary condition for a single element to constitute the high-level development of the tourism industry, but improving public service, total market volume, and innovation environment play universal roles in promoting the high-level development of the tourism industry. Using fsQCA for configuration analysis, two business environment configuration paths with high-level development of the tourism industry are obtained, which shows that there is no single path to promote the development of the tourism industry. In addition, the antecedent paths of high- and low-level tourism industry development are not the opposite, presenting an asymmetric causal relationship. The above findings reveal the realization path of the business environment for the development of China's urban tourism industry. Objective: To examine the relationship among walking speed, cognitive impairment, and cognitive domain functions in oldermen and women living in a Chinese suburban community. Methods: In total, 625 elderly (72.54 ± 5.80 years old) men (n = 258) and women (n = 367) from the Chongming district of Shanghai participated in this study. All participants had Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE), 4-m walking test, medical history questionnaire, and physical examination. They were grouped according to walking speed (>0.8 vs. ≤0.8 m/s) with the stratification of sex. The odds ratio (OR) and the 95% confidence interval (CI) were assessed using the chi-square test and logistic regression analysis. Results: Around 11.6% of men and 14.2% of women had slow walking speeds. After adjusting for age, body mass index (BMI), education level, spouse, faller, the Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS) score, heart disease, stroke, arthritis, and low back pain, walking speed was negatively related to cognitive impairment in men (OR 0.11 [95% CI: 0.01, 0.94]; p = 0.043). In addition, the relationship between walking speed and impaired orientation was significant in both men (OR 0.003 [95% CI: 0.001, 0.05]; p < 0.001) and women (OR 0.15 [95% CI: 0.03, 0.75]; p = 0.021). Conclusion: The relationship between walking speed and cognitive impairment was only significant in men, but the association with impaired orientation was found in both men and women. The integration of informationization and industrialization increases continuously with the gradual progress brought by Industry 4.0 and Made in China 2025. Enterprises become positive in exploring an information management system conforming to their characteristics. High-efficiency information construction has gradually become one of the leading development directions of enterprises. It also plays a vital role in lowering operation costs, increasing market shares, and improving enterprise competitiveness. However, information management system development is characterized by high input, long periods, and multiple risk factors. Enterprises have relatively weak consciousness in informationization risk control. Thus, project development may fail in case of improper risk management and inadequate control in the implementation process. Scientific and effective risk factor identification of an information technology (IT) project can determine the implementation effect of the information management system and subsequent improvement directions. In this study, a risk factor system for the information technology (IT) project was established through the expert consultation method. The weights of the IT project risk factors were estimated through decision-making trial and evaluation laboratory analysis (DEMATEL-ISM). The hierarchical relations among the IT project risk factors were depicted by using interpretive structural modeling. Results demonstrate that the causality of the factors inaccurate need analysis (F3), lack of user support (F5), contract risk (F10), and political and legal risks (F15) is higher than 0. These factors occupy the top four positions and directly influence other factors. IT project risk factors can be divided into five levels. The factor inaccurate need analysis (F3) is at the bottom level and is the fundamental influencing factor. It is also crucial to the risk control of IT projects. The obtained conclusions can provide important references to explore the risk factors of enterprise IT projects, evaluate risk levels accurately, and lower risks during IT project development. We describe Polypleurum chinense, a new species of Podostemaceae from Yunxiao County, Fujian Province, China, based on morphological and molecular data and the genus Polypleurum is recorded here for the first time from China. Polypleurum chinense has a gross morphology similar to P. longistylosum, but it can be distinguished from the latter by its narrower roots, more numerous and longer leaves, shorter stigmas and more numerous ovules per locule. To distinguish the new Polypleurum species and study its phylogenetic position, its complete plastome was sequenced and characterised. The plastome is 132,110 bp in length, including a pair of inverted repeat regions (IRs) of 20,389 bp divided by the large single-copy (LSC) and small single-copy (SSC) regions of 79,022 bp and 12,310 bp, respectively. The plastome size of P. chinense is relatively smaller compared to most angiosperms due to the absence of the ycf1 and ycf2 genes in the IR regions. Background and Objectives: Overconsumption of drinks containing fructose increases the risk for hyperuricemia and gout. Comparative analysis evaluating the indicators of serum uric acid (SUA) load caused by natural food-derived fructose and pure fructose in sweeteners is lacking. We aimed to uncover the effect of fructose from apple and honey and pure fructose powder on the SUA concentration of healthy young Chinese individuals.Methods and Study Design: Two randomized crossover trials were performed. The participants were randomly assigned to consume apple or honey (test food) or pure fructose powder (reference food); one week later, the groups' dietary intervention was switched. Blood samples were collected at 0, 30, 60, and 120 min after meal to measure the SUA and blood glucose concentrations.Results: At 30 and 60 min, the SUA concentration in participants consuming apple or honey was lower than in those consuming fructose powder. At 120 min, the SUA concentration of participants consuming apple returned to baseline. The areas under the curve (AUC) within 2 h (2h- AUCs) of SUA exhibited the trend of fructose >honey >apple. The 2h-AUC ratio between test food and reference food was determined using the uric acid index to assess the efficiency of food-derived fructose in increasing the SUA concentration. The uric acid index of honey was higher than that of apple. Men had higher postprandial SUA concentration than women.Conclusions: Food-derived fructose caused a lighter load on uric acid metabolism than pure fructose. Many plants have been widely used in monitoring and assessing heavy metal pollution in soil, air and water. However, few studies have considered the unique value of bryophyte communities in monitoring manganese ore pollution and the diversity characteristics of bryophytes in different natural succession stages. Tongluojing Manganese Mine in Guizhou Province, China, was chosen for identifying bryophytes and statistical analyses. In total 61 species of mosses in 21 genera of 7 families were identified, including 8 dominant species, primarily representing the turf life-form. Following the successive stages from bare rock to woodland, single-species moss communities decreased while multi-species communities increased, with increment of the α diversity index. However, the β diversity index showed the opposite trend. The moss similarity index was the highest (0.43) and Cody index lowest (7.5) on bare rock, while the indices were the lowest (0.17) and the highest (18), respectively, in woodland. The Nemerow pollution index decreased gradually with the successive stages, with the bare rock area being the most polluted. The soil was polluted by Pb, Cr, Zn, Cd and Mn to varying degrees, among which Mn was the biggest pollutant with a concentration 129 times higher than the background value of the soil in Guizhou Province. There was a positive correlation between the contents of Cd, Cr, Zn and Mn in Weissia planifolia Dix and those in the substrate, suggesting that W. planifolia can be used as an indicator plant. This study highlighted multiple effects of mosses on heavy metal absorption, which could be used as pioneer plants for vegetation restoration in the manganese ore waste rock accumulation area. The purpose of this study is to gain an understanding of Chinese parents' experiences advocating for their children with autism spectrum disorder to be educated in a regular classroom setting. Sixteen parents of children with ASD in China were interviewed to understand their experiences with the 'learning in the regular classroom policy'(LRC)and its implementation. Our findings revealed three themes: (a) guanxi (social capital) is critical for parental advocacy, (b) Parents' commentary on educational rights features a self-deprecating tone, and (c) parents indicate they accept and even agree with the stigma attached to children with ASD. The interpretive phenomenological analysis approach is used to gain insight into the policy implementation of inclusive education in China from the perspective of parents. As an important organizational strategy and action that affects employee perception and attitude, corporate social responsibility is essential for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to reduce turnover rate and achieve sustainable growth. This paper integrates social identity theory and social exchange theory to construct an external reputation mechanism and internal trust mechanism to explore the influence mechanism of corporate social responsibility on employee turnover intention and the intermediate transmission mechanism of psychological contract. The research results show that corporate social responsibility has a significant negative impact on employee turnover intention. Compared with external corporate social responsibility, internal corporate social responsibility has a stronger negative impact on employee turnover intention; corporate social responsibility has a significant negative impact on employee transactional psychological contract, while corporate social responsibility has a significant positive impact on employee relational psychological contracts; transactional psychological contract has a significant positive effect on employee turnover intention, while relational psychological contract has a significant negative effect on employee turnover intention; psychological contract has a significant and complete mediating effect on the relationship between external corporate social responsibility and employee turnover intention, and the psychological contract plays a significant part of the intermediary role between the internal corporate social responsibility and the employee turnover intention. The conclusions enriches the complex relationship between corporate social responsibility and employee turnover intentions, and provides a reference for SMEs to effectively perform internal and external social responsibilities and reduce employee turnover rates. Moulting behaviors in trilobites are a crucial strategy during development. Previous studies have demonstrated inter-and intraspecific variability of moulting behavior in trilobites. Currently, ecdysial motifs for trilobites are considered not stable even within species and fewer detailed studies dealt with moulting behaviors in a single species of trilobite during development. Here a large sample of meraspid to holaspid exuviae of Arthricocephalites xinzhaiheensis (131 specimens) from the Cambrian Balang Formation of South China has allowed description of the reasonably complete ontogenic moulting sequence. Both ontogenetic stage and body size reveal gradual transition of configuration from Somersault configuration to Henningsmoen’s configuration during development. Somersault configuration is exclusive till meraspid degree five and exists in subsequent growth stages. This suggests that opening of the facial and rostral sutures allowing the emergence forward of the post-ecdysial trilobite was prevalent in early growth stages. In later development, Henningsmoen’s configuration (showing disarticulation of the cranidium) became more dominant. This study indicates that gradual transition of ontogenetic moulting behavior occurred in oryctocephalid trilobites in the early Cambrian. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Aims Lifestyle factors have been well-established as essential targets for fighting individual chronic diseases, but little research has concentrated on multimorbidity from the perspective of multiple lifestyle factors in the Chinese population. Thus, this study aimed to explore the associations of lifestyle factors with the occurrence of multimorbidity. Methods and results Cross-sectional data retrieved from the China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study were used for analysis. Multimorbidity was calculated on a simple count of self-reported chronic conditions. Lifestyle factors included sleep duration, physical activity, alcohol intake, smoking status, and body mass index. Logistic regression analysis was used to examine the independent and accumulating effects of lifestyle factors on multimorbidity. Latent class analysis was performed to explore the lifestyle patterns. Six thousand, five hundred, and ninety-one valid subjects were included for analysis. Overall, the community dweller's median number of chronic conditions was 1 (range 1-11) and median number of high-risk lifestyle factors was 2 (range 0-5). All lifestyle factors were associated with the occurrence of multimorbidity but varied between genders. We also identified that participants who accumulated more unhealthy lifestyle factors having a higher likelihood of multimorbidity. 'Physical activity and weight', 'smoke and drink', and 'sleep and weight' dominated high-risk lifestyles were the most common lifestyle patterns. Conclusion This study revealed the associations of unhealthy lifestyle factors and their accumulating effect with multimorbidity in Chinese community dwellers. Three common lifestyle patterns indicated that a holistic approach focused on engaging and changing multiple modifiable lifestyle behaviours within an individual might be more effective in managing multimorbidity. Many cities across China are investing in subway projects, resulting in much subway construction activity, which has experienced a surge over the past decade. The construction activities inevitably cause a dramatic quantity of subway-related excavated soil and rock (ESR). How to manage it with minimal environmental impact on our urban ecosystem remains an open question. The present study evaluates global warming potential (GWP, expressed by CO2 eq) from different ESR recycling and landfilling scenarios via a life cycle assessment (LCA) model based on primary field investigation combined with the LCA software database. The study results illustrate that recycling ESR can significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions. In comparison with traditional construction materials, the scenarios found that a cumulative amount of 1.1 to 1.5 million tonnes (Mt) of CO2 eq emissions could have been mitigated by using ESR generated between 2010 and 2018 to produce baking-free bricks and recycled baked brick. Using cost-benefit analysis, potential economic benefits from recycled sand and baking-free bricks are found to reach US$9 million annually. The findings of this study could provide better recycling options for ESR-related stakeholders. Plant adaptation under climate changes is critical to the maintenance of terrestrial ecosystem structure and function. Studying the response of the endophytic community to climate warming is a novel way to reveal the mechanism of host environmental adaptability because of the prominent role endophytes play in host nutrient acquisition and stress tolerance. However, host performance was generally neglected in previous relevant research, which limits our understanding of the relationships between the endophytic community and host responses to climate warming. The present study selected two plants with different responses to climate warming. Elymus nutans is more suitable for growing in warm environments at low altitude compared to Kobresia pygmaea. K. pygmaea and E. nutans were sampled along an altitude gradient in the natural grassland of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, China. Root endophytic bacterial and fungal communities were analyzed using high throughput sequencing. The results revealed that hosts growing in more suitable habitats held higher endophytic fungal diversity. Elevation and host identity significantly affected the composition of the root endophytic bacterial and fungal community. 16S rRNA functional prediction demonstrated that hosts that adapted to lower temperatures recruited endophytic communities with higher abundance of genes related to cold resistance. Hosts that were more suitable for warmer and drier environments recruited endophytes with higher abundance of genes associated with nutrient absorption and oxidation resistance. We associated changes in the endophytic community with hosts adaptability to climate warming and suggested a synchronism of endophytic communities and hosts in environmental adaptation. Meiogyne kwangtungensis is a rare species endemic to Hainan, China, known just from two fruiting collections made in the 1930s. Although it was published under the name Meiogyne in 1976, it was suggested that it might be better placed within Pseuduvaria or Mitrephora. For decades, this species was never collected again, thus its true generic affinity remained unresolved due to the lack of flowers. During a field exploration in Hainan, we re-discovered this species and collected a flowering specimen for the first time. The flower immediately confirmed its affinity with Pseuduvaria. Phylogenetic analyses of five chloroplast regions (psbA-trnH, trnL-F, matK, rbcL, and atpB-rbcL; ca. 4.2 kb, 70 accessions) also unambiguously placed Meiogyne kwangtungensis in the Pseuduvaria clade (PP = 1.00, ML BS = 99%). Morphologically, it is most similar to P. multiovulata which is endemic to Myanmar and Thailand, both with often-paired flowers, long pedicels and short peduncles, and often 1-2 monocarps. However, it differs in having smaller flowers with kidney-shaped glands on the inner petals, fewer stamens and carpels, smaller ovoid monocarps with an apicule and fewer seeds. On the basis of the combined molecular phylogenetic and morphological data, we propose a new combination, Pseuduvaria kwangtungensis (P.T.Li) Qing L. Wang & B.Xue. The morphology and ontogeny of the trilobite Changaspis elongata based on 216 specimens collected from the Lazizhai section of the Balang Formation (Stage 4, Series 2 of the Cambrian) in Guizhou Province, South China are described. The relatively continuous ontogenetic series reveals morphological changes, and shows that the species has seventeen thoracic segments in the holaspid period, instead of the sixteen as previously suggested. The development of the pygidial segments shows that their number gradually decreases during ontogeny. A new dataset of well-preserved specimens offers a unique opportunity to investigate developmental traits after segment addition is completed. The ontogenetic size progressions for the lengths of cephalon and trunk show overall compliance with Dyar's rule. As a result of different average growth rates for the lengths of cephalon, trunk and pygidium, the length of the thorax relative to the body shows a gradually increasing trend; however, the cephalon and pygidium follow the opposite trend. Morphometric analysis across fourteen post-embryonic stages reveals growth gradients with increasing values for each thoracic segment from anterior to posterior. The reconstruction of the development traits shows visualization of the changes in relative growth and segmentation for the different body parts. The new dataset and growth gradient of the trunk suggest that the thoracic segment growth dynamics of early Cambrian to Silurian trilobites follow the same general continuous, steady-state growth gradient decreasing from posterior to anterior. Background: When Angiostrongylus cantonensis develops from the third and fourth stage, it needs to change its host from the middle host, snail to the final host, rat. However, the mechanism involved in this change remains unclear. Methods: The transcriptome differences of the third and fourth stages of A. cantonensis were explored by next-generation Illumina Hiseq/Miseq sequencing in China, in 2018. Results: Overall, 137 956 488 clean reads and 20 406 213 373 clean bases of the two stages larvae were produced. Based on the queries against the Gene Ontology (GO), NCBI non-redundant protein sequences (Nr), Swissprot, and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) databases, 14 204 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were predicted. GO enrichment analysis revealed 5660 DEGs with the top s categories as followings: biological process (GO:0008150, related to 5345 DEGs), cellular component (GO:0005575, related to 5297 DEGs), molecular function (GO:0003674, related to 5290 DEGs). In KEGG enrichment analysis, 116 genes were related to oxidative phosphorylation and 49 genes involved in the glycolytic process. Conclusion: Metabolism changes, especially oxidative phosphorylation and glycolysis, might play a key role in A. cantonensis infection of its final rat host. INTRODUCTION The All Causes of Death Surveillance (ACDS) system was used to measure smoking-attributed mortality by inserting questions on smoking on death certificates. Smoking status information of the deceased has been routinely collected in death certificates since 2010. We describe a death registry-based case-control study using smoking and cause-of-death data for the period 2010--15. METHODS From 2010, three questions about the smoking status of the deceased were inserted in a revised death certificate: 1) Smoking status (current smoker, quit smoking, never smoker); 2) Number of cigarettes per day smoked; and 3) Number of years of smoking. A data-accuracy survey of 1788 telephone interviews of the family of the deceased was also conducted. Smoking habits (current/ex-smoker vs non-smoker) were compared in study cases (persons who died of lung cancer and other diseases known to be caused by smoking) and the controls (never smokers). Multivariate logistic regression analysis was conducted to estimate relative risks, RR (odds ratios) for smoking-attributed mortality, for lung cancer and all causes of death related to smoking, adjusted for 5-year interval age groups, education, marital status, and year of death. RESULTS During the study period (2010--15), the annual crude death reporting rates ranged from 6.5‰ to 7.0‰. The reporting rates of smoking status, smoking history and the number of cigarettes smoked daily were 95.5%, 98.6% and 98.6%, respectively. Compared to never smokers, the RR of ever smoking in males was 1.38 (95% CI: 1.33--1.43) for all causes of smoking-related deaths and 3.07 (95% CI: 2.91--3.24) for lung cancer, while in females the values were 1.46 (95% CI: 1.39--1.54) for all causes of smoking-related deaths and 4.07 (95% CI: 3.81--4.35) for lung cancer. The results in Tianjin are in accord with published results from previous studies. CONCLUSIONS Levels and trends in smoking attributed mortality can be measured at low cost by using the stable, complete and effective ACDS system in Tianjin. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background and objective The patients with advanced lung adenocarcinoma should select targeted drugs based on the type of tumor epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) gene mutation. However, it is difficult to collect tumor tissue of advanced lung adenocarcinoma, and some experts agree that peripheral blood can be used as a substitute for tumor tissue as a test specimen. This paper aimed to investigate the clinical value of ddPCR and super-amplification refractory mutation system (ARMS) in detecting EGFR gene mutation in peripheral blood of patients with advanced lung adenocarcinoma. Methods A total of 119 patients diagnosed in Beijing Chest Hospital Affiliated to Capital Medical University from February 2016 to February 2019 were collected, and the sensitivity and specificity of plasma ctDNA EGFR gene mutation detected by ddPCR and super-arms were compared. Some patients with positive EGFR gene mutations received oral treatment with first-line EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors (EGFR-TKI). The patients were divided into subgroups according to the test results. In group 1, both ddPCR and super-arms showed positive EGFR gene mutation results, with 21 cases. In group 2, ddPCR and super-arms detection of EGFR gene mutation were all negative, with 16 cases. In group 3, the ddPCR test was positive and the super-arms test was negative, with 5 cases. In group 4, the ddPCR test result was negative while the super-arms test result was positive. Since the number of patients in group 4 was 0, no statistics were included. Objective response rate (ORR) and disease control rate (DCR) were used to evaluate the short-term outcome, and progression-free survival (PFS) was compared with survival analysis to evaluate the long-term outcome. Results EGFR mutations were detected in 58 (48.7%) of 119 patients with advanced lung adenocarcinoma. The coincidence rate between ddPCR and EGFR gene mutation in tumor tissues was 82.4% (Kappa=0.647, P<0.001), the sensitivity was 74.1%, and the specificity was 90.2%. However, the coincidence degree of superarms test and tissue test was 71.4%, the sensitivity was only 58.6%, and the specificity was 83.6%. The ORR and DCR values in group 3 were lower than those in group 1 and 2, but there was no significant difference in ORR between groups (P>0.05). Survival analysis showed that the PFS of the three groups was compared. The difference was not statistically significant (^2=2.221, P=0.329). Conclusion ddPCR, as a high sensitivity and specificity liquid gene detection method, can be used as a reliable method to detect the mutation of plasma ctDNA EGFR gene in patients with advanced lung adenocarcinoma. Recent music tourism researches are notable owing to growing socioeconomic significance of music. But the question about how music affects tourists' behaviors in travel practice remains there. This study explores the effects of music on tourists' behaviors by deploying a survey of tourists in Lijiang old town which is famous for abundant musical cultures. Results show that tourists' behavioral intentions are influenced by music-induced emotions which are stimulated by music perception and music cognition. The morphology and ontogeny of the trilobite Changaspis elongata based on 216 specimens collected from the Lazizhai section of the Balang Formation (Stage 4, Series 2 of the Cambrian) in Guizhou Province, South China are described. The relatively continuous ontogenetic series reveals morphological changes, and shows that the species has seventeen thoracic segments in the holaspid period, instead of the sixteen as previously suggested. The development of the pygidial segments shows that their number gradually decreases during ontogeny. A new dataset of well-preserved specimens offers a unique opportunity to investigate developmental traits after segment addition is completed. The ontogenetic size progressions for the lengths of cephalon and trunk show overall compliance with Dyar's rule. As a result of different average growth rates for the lengths of cephalon, trunk and pygidium, the length of the thorax relative to the body shows a gradually increasing trend; however, the cephalon and pygidium follow the opposite trend. Morphometric analysis across fourteen post-embryonic stages reveals growth gradients with increasing values for each thoracic segment from anterior to posterior. The reconstruction of the development traits shows visualization of the changes in relative growth and segmentation for the different body parts. The new dataset and growth gradient of the trunk suggest that the thoracic segment growth dynamics of early Cambrian to Silurian trilobites follow the same general continuous, steady-state growth gradient decreasing from posterior to anterior. [Display omitted] • The Maoershi Sn polymetallic deposit was closely related to Indosinian granitic magmatism. • The W–Sn polymetallic deposit in the Dupangling region formed in an extensional tectonic setting after late Indosinian collision. Nanling is located in central South China and contains the most important area of W–Sn polymetallic deposits worldwide. However, a lack of geochronological data hinders our understanding of the timing and mechanisms of W–Sn mineralization in the Dupangling area of western Nanling. The Maoershi Sn polymetallic deposit is located in the western body of Dupangling complex pluton, and is a significant hydrothermal vein deposit. Cassiterite U–Pb dating shows that the Maoershi Sn mineralization occurred during the Late Triassic (206.2 ± 2.6 Ma). This age is different from the age of granite in the western Dupangling pluton and similar to the age of the eastern Dupangling pluton. The cassiterite is enriched in Sc (4.5105–18.4049 ppm), V (37.2267–88.9671 ppm), Nb (62.0104–194.1846 ppm), Ta (11.1965–85.6881 ppm), Hf (22.0511–30.7650 ppm), U (2.8870–17.9187 ppm), Th (0.0005–0.0908 ppm), Ti (3873–6170 ppm), and other high-field-strength elements. Based on Nb/Ta and Y/Ho ratios, and the W–Fe discriminant diagram, Sn and the other mineralizing materials were mainly derived from hidden Indosinian granitic rocks. Tungsten–Sn mineralization in the Dupangling pluton exhibits a clear spatial–temporal relationship with Indosinian granitic magmatism, and occurred in an extensional setting after the continent–continent collision that marked the late Indosinian Orogeny.
