After entering the new century, the rapid development of information technology has brought a huge impact to traditional social life, which has also triggered drastic changes in the production environment of enterprises. As long as we seize the opportunity of the development of the times, we will quickly accumulate huge wealth. Some new types of companies have surpassed traditional large companies with decades of history in a short period of time, which makes entrepreneurship very attractive. At the same time, the state has also given strong support to people's entrepreneurship, encouraging capable people to start their own businesses in terms of policies and funds, which has stimulated a wave of entrepreneurship among the people. However, due to the short period of time for the construction of China's market economy system, the vast majority of new ventures cannot obtain sufficient resource stock to grow and develop and can only turn to the external market to seek opportunities for development. Entrepreneurial bricolage has become a "keyword of the times" in recent years under this background. Previous studies have shown that entrepreneurial bricolage has a relatively positive effect in alleviating the plight of enterprise development resources, and many new ventures regard it as an important way to obtain development resources. The development of big data and artificial intelligence decision-making provides more possibilities for information sharing and personalized analysis and also gives new ventures more opportunities to choose development resources that suit their own characteristics. However, from the actual situation, it is obvious that Chinese enterprises have not achieved very obvious results in how to make full use of big data and artificial intelligence decision-making technology to improve their entrepreneurial and bricolage capabilities. Based on the technical support provided by big data and artificial intelligence decision-making, this research studies the entrepreneurial bricolage activities of China's new ventures in this context, through the questionnaire survey and tracking analysis of 135 enterprises established in the two provinces from 2015 to 2020. After comparative analysis of a large amount of data, it is found that enterprises that combine big data and artificial intelligence technologies can obtain more high-quality resources and make more informed decisions in the process of starting a business. It can be concluded that the companies that have excellent application of big data and artificial intelligence decision-making technology have more opportunities to obtain ideal resources in entrepreneurial bricolage. The study conducted an in-depth analysis of the problems of China's new ventures in entrepreneurial bricolage and put forward suggestions for improvement based on the specific conditions of this type of enterprise. This research effort depicts the well-being of children in China who have experienced devastating developments in their immediate environment and are indulged in negative emotions which result in negative psychological and behavioral consequences. The study focuses on the interventions taken into consideration in prior literature to address the problem of the 'left-behind children'. The current research paper seeks to assess the well-being of children influenced by important factors that shape the behavior at early schooling. Tolerance, respect and moral identity are found to be crucial factors that influence individual behavioral outcomes; therefore, the current study empirically investigates the impact of these behavioral interventions. The study reports mixed results as two direct hypotheses' i.e., moral identity to well-being and tolerance-respect to well-being are observed to be insignificant, however the remaining direct, moderating, and mediating relationship are found to be statistically significant. Abstract: Seasonal variation and influencing factors of perchlorate in snow, surface soil, rain, surface water, groundwater and corn were studied. Seven hundreds and seventy samples were collected in different periods in Harbin and its vicinity, China. Perchlorate concentrations were analyzed by ion chromatography–electrospray mass spectrometry. Results indicate that fireworks and firecrackers display from the Spring Festival to the Lantern Festival (February 2, 2011–February 17, 2011) can result in the occurrence of perchlorate in surface soil and snow. Perchlorate distribution is affected by wind direction in winter. Melting snow which contained perchlorate can dissolve perchlorate in surface soil, and then perchlorate can percolate into groundwater so that perchlorate concentrations in groundwater increased in spring. Perchlorate concentrations in groundwater and surface water decrease after rainy season in summer. Groundwater samples collected in the floodplain areas of the Songhua River and the Ashi River contained higher perchlorate concentrations than that far away with the rivers. This study investigated associations between cardiometabolic diseases, frailty, and healthcare utilization and expenditure among Chinese older adults. The participants were 5204 community-dwelling adults aged at least 60 years from the China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study. Five cardiometabolic diseases were assessed including hypertension, dyslipidemia, diabetes, cardiac diseases and stroke. Frailty status was based on five criteria: slowness, weakness, exhaustion, inactivity, and shrinking. Participants were deemed frailty if they met at least three criteria. As the number of cardiometabolic diseases increased, so did the prevalence of frailty, and the proportion of healthcare utilization, including outpatient visit and inpatient visit. Moreover, the total healthcare expenditure and the odds of catastrophic health expenditure were increased with the number of cardiometabolic disorders. After adjusting for covariates, cardiometabolic diseases were positively associated with higher odds of frailty, incurring outpatient and inpatient visit. And individuals with 2 or more cardiometabolic diseases had a higher odds of catastrophic health expenditure than persons with non-cardiometabolic disease. Participants who were frailty were more likely to report higher odds of healthcare utilization. These findings suggest that both cardiometabolic diseases and frailty assessment may improve identification of older adults likely to require costly, extensive healthcare.

Background: Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide. Genome-wide association studies in non-Asian population revealed a link between COPD and mutations in the PTCH1 gene encoding Patched1, a receptor in the Hedgehog signaling pathway important for lung morphogenesis and pulmonary function. The aim of this study was to investigate the association between PTCH1 polymorphisms and the COPD risk in the Chinese Han population., Methods: We performed a case-control study including 296 patients with COPD and 300 healthy individuals. Single-nucleotide polymorphisms in the PTCH1 gene were identified and genotyped based on the linkage disequilibrium analysis in all participants. Odds ratios (ORs) and 95% confidence intervals (95% CIs) were estimated using logistic regression analysis after adjustment for age, gender, and smoking., Results: In total, 28 single-nucleotide polymorphisms were identified in patients with COPD. Among them, "A" allele of rs28491365 (OR: 1.388, 95% CI: 1.055-1.827, P = 0.018), and "G" alleles of rs10512248 (OR: 1.299, 95% CI: 1.021-1.653, P = 0.033) and rs28705285 (OR: 1.359, 95% CI: 1.024-1.803, P = 0.033; respectively) were significantly associated with an increased COPD risk. Genetic model analysis revealed that the "T/T" genotype of rs34695652 was associated with a decreased COPD risk under the recessive model (OR: 0.490, 95% CI: 0.270-0.880, P = 0.010), whereas rs28504650/rs10512248 haplotype CG was significantly associated with an increased COPD risk after adjustment for age, gender, and smoking status (OR: 6.364, 95% CI: 1.220-33.292, P = 0.028)., Conclusions: The study provides a new insight into the role of PTCH1 polymorphisms in the susceptibility to COPD in the Chinese Han population.

Objective: To investigate the prevalence of obesity and sleep disorders and the association between them among children in Lanzhou, China., Methods: The stratified cluster random sampling method was used to select 3 283 primary school students in four districts of Lanzhou of Gansu province. Physical examination and sleep questionnaire were conducted to screen out the children who met the criteria for sleep disorders or obesity as subjects. Among the 3 283 children, 200 healthy children without sleep disorders or obesity were enrolled as the control group., Results: The prevalence rate of obesity among the 3 283 children was 5.76% (189/3 283). Among these 189 obese children, 80 (42.3%) had sleep disorders. The prevalence rate of sleep disorders was 16.24% (533/3 283), and the prevalence rate of obesity among the children with sleep disorders was 24.6% (131/533). Snoring was the most common sleep disorder in obese children. The prevalence rate of obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome was 45% (36/80) among obese children with sleep disorders. The obese children had a significantly higher prevalence rate of sleep disorders than the children with normal body weight [42.3% (80/189) vs 20% (40/200), P<0.01]., Conclusions: There is a close relationship between obesity and sleep disorders in children in Lanzhou, China.

Background: The prevalence of diabetes is increasing in China. Glucose control is very important in diabetic patients. The aim of this study was to compare the accuracy of five glucose meters used in Chinese hospitals with a reference method, in the absence and presence of various factors that may interfere with the meters., Methods: Within-run precision of the meters was evaluated include Roche Accu-Chek Inform®, Abbott Precision PCx FreeStyle®, Bayer Contour®, J&J LifeScan SureStep Flexx®, and Nova Biomedical StatStrip®. The interference of hematocrit level, maltose, ascorbic acid, acetaminophen, galactose, dopamine, and uric acid were tested in three levels of blood glucose, namely low, medium, and high concentrations. Accuracy (bias) of the meters and analytical interference by various factors were evaluated by comparing results obtained in whole blood specimens with those in plasma samples of the whole blood specimens run on the reference method. Impact of oxygen tension on above five blood glucose meters was detected., Results: Precision was acceptable and slightly different between meters. There were no significant differences in the measurements between the meters and the reference method. The hematocrit level significantly interfered with all meters, except StatStrip. Measurements were affected to varying degrees by different substances at different glucose levels, e.g. acetaminophen and ascorbic acid (Freestyle), maltose and galactose (FreeStyle, Accu-Chek), uric acid (FreeStyle, Bayer Contour), and dopamine (Bayer Contour)., Conclusions: The measurements with the five meters showed a good correlation with the plasma hexokinase reference method, but most were affected by the hematocrit level.
