China has emerged as a prominent global player in the field of railways, with numerous railway construction projects spanning across diverse locations. Railway bridges, as a crucial component of railway construction, warrant significant attention. Meta-analysis, a statistical method that systematically synthesizes research findings, has been utilized to summarize and compare the results of safety risk management studies pertaining to railway bridge construction in China. By integrating social network analysis and evidence-based assessment of the literature, this study explores the interrelationships among risk factors. Within a specific railway bridge construction project, various safety risk factors may originate from common sources, including environmental factors, material and equipment factors, technical factors, management factors, personnel factors, and bridge-specific factors. Notably, there exists coupling among these security risk factors, whereby the presence or occurrence of one factor can influence the probability or severity of consequences associated with other factors. The results reveal that safety risk factors in railway bridge construction accumulate and propagate, thereby impacting the efficacy of safety risk management. Moreover, these factors are significantly influenced by the complexities inherent in the geo-meteorological and social-technical systems. This finding provides valuable insights for innovations in security risk management practices and offers suggestions for future innovation pathways. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In the context of building industrialization, the dissemination and transmission of information related to prefabricated building component parts are of paramount importance throughout the building's life cycle and the entire industry chain, necessitating high standards of information integration. At present, the development of information coding for prefabricated building component parts in China is hindered by various challenges, such as the lack of uniform norms and standards across different regions, as well as significant differences in the composition and character length of coded information categories. Through reviewing academic papers and society, group, and local standards related to the coding of prefabricated building component parts, this article identifies the importance of component part coding information categories. Considering the readability of codes, a practical coding system is adopted for the coding design, proposing a semi-implicit practical coding method for prefabricated building component parts. This method has strong flexibility and wide applicability. Additionally, a common coding system for component parts is devised to address the issue of missing information caused by the limited characters of component parts codes. This system enables comprehensive life cycle information management of component parts of prefabricated buildings and promotes the application of prefabricated buildings in China. The present study was aimed to extend the self-orientation model (Campbell, 1999) to vulnerable narcissism in a collectivistic culture. Two hundred and twenty-seven college students were recruited from China. Participants reported their ratings on measures of vulnerable and grandiose narcissism, attractions to different (caring vs perfect) targets, and their choices of potential romantic partners. Results indicated that those participants classified as grandiose or vulnerable narcissists were more attracted to perfect targets than non-narcissists. In addition, grandiose narcissists preferred to choose perfect targets as their romantic partners, while vulnerable narcissists did not show such a preference when choosing potential partners. These results suggested that culture could influence the function of narcissism. The self-orientation model could not fully explain the choices of vulnerable narcissists.
