Systematic and comprehensive understanding of stakeholder relationships is the key component for achieving social sustainability of brownfield regeneration (BR), which has not been recognized by existing researches. Based on the widely acknowledged idea of social networks, this paper proposes a systematic research framework for the analysis of stakeholder relationships, with a focus on the dynamic and networked nature of relationships. The relationship network of stakeholders in BR is considered from three aspects: identifying the stakeholders and relationships among them, quantifying stakeholder relationships, and analyzing relationships network structure. The proposed stakeholder relationships analysis framework uses empirical methods (i.e., interviews and surveys), rationalistic methods (i.e., fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) and social network analysis (SNA)) to analyze stakeholder relationships. To demonstrate the usability of the proposed framework, we apply it to the BR in China. The results show that: (1) it is feasible to mine the relationships of stakeholders from the social network perspective; (2) from the individual network aspect, the government, developers, government are at the core of the network with the highest network centrality during the recycling and contamination treatment stage, the construction stage and the use stage, respectively; (3) from the local network aspect, different cohesive subgroups with strong linkages are formed throughout the life cycle of BR; (4) from the overall network aspect, the highest density of the use stage means that there is good cohesion among stakeholders at this stage; the centralization of the construction stage is the highest, indicating that the stakeholders have relatively concentrated network power and loose relationships. The paper puts forward suggestions for improving the network structure of stakeholder relationships, including strengthening the network relationship between the government and environmental non-government organizations (ENGOs), improving the monitoring efficiency and network status of news media, establishing a construction consulting platform that effectively serves the public and end-users, forming the alliances among end-users, the public and ENGOs and enhancing the relationship network stability. Digital transformation of manufacturing is a hot topic among strategic managers of manufacturing companies. The crux of digital transformation lies in the digitalization of manufacturing supply chain (MSC). However, the digital transformation of the MSC is highly uncertain, owing to the dynamic and complex changes of its nodes and structure in response to growing customer demand and fierce market competition. To propel the MSC digital transformation, it is crucial to effectively identify and predict the risk factors in the course of digital transformation. Therefore, this paper attempts to help manufacturing companies in China to successfully switch to a digital MSC. Firstly, the risk sources of the MSC digitization were identified, and complied into an evaluation index system for the digital transformation of the MSC. Next, the principal component analysis (PCA) was performed to reduce the dimension of the original data by revealing the three key principal components, and then the characteristic parameters of risk prediction are selected, so as to simplify the structure of neural network and improve the speed and efficiency of network training. On this basis, a backpropagation neural network (BPNN) was constructed for predicting the risks in MSC digitization. The results of training the model based on some data show that the proposed BPNN model has a good predictive effect. Furthermore, our model was compared with the traditional artificial neural network (ANN) model on a test set. The comparison demonstrates that our model achieved better effect than the traditional model in risk prediction. The results also show that the selected three principal components are reasonable, and the evaluation index system is valuable. In order to analyse the prevalence of cat viral diseases in China, including feline parvovirus (FPV), feline calicivirus (FCV), feline herpesvirus 1 (FHV‐1), feline leukaemia virus (FeLV), feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and feline infectious peritonitis virus (FIPV), a total of 1,326 samples of cats from 16 cities were investigated from 2016 to 2019. Collectively, 1,060 (79.9%) cats were tested positive for at least one virus in nucleotide detection, and the positive rates of cat exposure to FeLV, FPV, FHV‐1, FCV, FIV and FIPV were 59.6%, 19.2%, 16.3%, 14.2%, 1.5% and 0.5%, respectively. The prevalence of FHV‐1 and FPV was dominant in winter and spring. Cats from north China showed a higher positive rate of viral infection than that of cats from south China. The virus infection is not highly correlated with age, except that FPV is prone to occur within the age of 12 months. In the serological survey, the seroprevalences of 267 vaccinated cats to FPV, FCV and FHV‐1 were 83.9%, 58.3% and 44.0%, respectively. Meanwhile, the seroprevalences of 39 unvaccinated cats to FPV, FCV and FHV‐1 were 76.9% (30/39), 82.4% (28/34) and 58.6% (17/29), respectively. This study demonstrated that a high prevalence of the six viral diseases in China and the insufficient serological potency of FCV and FHV‐1 remind the urgency for more effective vaccines. Eighteen canine distemper virus (CDV) isolates were obtained from clinical samples in Henan province, China, between 2012 and 2016. These viruses could not be recognized by 1A4, a monoclonal antibody specific for the H protein of CDV vaccine strains. The complete haemagglutinin (H) genes of all 18 isolates were sequenced, and phylogenetic analysis showed that they segregated into two clusters within the Asia-1 genotype. Moreover, the H genes of four viruses were found to lack a potential N-glycosylation site at position 309, which is the most conserved site within the Asia-1 genotype of CDV, and a novel potential N-glycosylation site (amino acids 517–519) was found in strain HL013, which has not been reported previously. A canine parainfluenza virus type 5 strain was isolated from a lung sample from a diseased dog. The genome sequene of this isolate, named HeN0718, was determined and compared tho those of other previously reported canine parainfluenza viruses. Unlike previously reported viruses, the HeN0718 strain contained several nucleotide mutations in the SH gene that led to a frame shift in the open reading frame. Phylogenetic analysis based on the complete virus genome and the P, F, and HN genes showed that HeN0718 was genetically closest to D277, a Korean strain that was isolated in 2008. The frequent outbreaks of water eutrophication in Gehu Lake are regarded as one of the most troublesome environmental issues in Southeast China. Based on the water's potential capacity to accept pollutant loads, a catchment-scale environmental management system was established to ensure inflows of clean water into Taihu Lake. Considering the complexity of the hydrological regimes operating within the river-network plain, the capacities of the water environment for loads of COD and nutrients were estimated using the Water Quality Analysis Simulation Program, Version 7.3 ( WASP 7.3) model. The calibration and the verification of this model were based on water quality measurements during the period 2009-2010. The variables of water quality that were examined are COD, NH4- N, TN and TP. The simulated distributions of the COD, NH4- N, TN and TP in the water column agree with the observations, but it indicates that more measurements are needed to verify the predictability of the simulations. The simulation results show that the average relative error is small, and the change trend of each indicator is consistent. The results have shown that the WASP model can be used to evaluate the future water quality changes in case that the pollution continues with the same rate. The work presented in this paper is expected to be a theoretical basis in exploring the degradation mechanism for self-purification capacity of water bodies and in designing and constructing of Gehu Lake ecosystem restoration goals. The hydrochemical characteristics of groundwater in Songnen Plain’s agricultural area were analyzed based on aquifer types and topography classification to evaluate irrigation suitability and factors influencing groundwater quality. Samples of different groundwater types and topographical conditions within the research area were collected and chemical indices, such as sodium adsorption ratio, %Na+, residual sodium carbonate, and magnesium hazard values, were calculated to assess the groundwater suitability for irrigation. The results indicated that groundwater was generally neutral, with low total dissolved solids and slightly high hardness; the dominant anion in groundwater was HCO3−, while Ca2+ was the relatively stable primary cation found in water samples from the high plain and river valley plain. The nitrate in groundwater significantly exceeded WHO drinking water standards, especially in the unconfined water of the high plain, which was due to the large-scale agricultural production activities in the eastern regions. The main reactions in the groundwater system were weathering and dissolution of carbonates and sulfates and ion-exchange reactions. Horizontal zoning in water chemical characteristics was prominent; from the high plain to river valley plain and low plain, the hydrochemistry gradually transitioned from HCO3-Ca-Na to HCO3-Na-Ca and HCO3-Na. Based on the chemical indices, the majority of samples were suitable for agricultural irrigation except for some in the western area with high salinity and sodium hazards. Treatment measures to groundwater and soil should be taken to reduce the possibility of soil salinization and promote crop growth in these latter regions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Brownfield regeneration (BR) is an important initiative for sustainable land development and the promotion of carbon neutrality. Insufficient stakeholder engagement is one of the main obstacles to the progress of BR. The relationship network formed through continuous interaction among stakeholders ensures the exchange and transfer of information resources. Different structural features of the relationship network may lead to differences in the engagement level of stakeholders. Therefore, based on network embeddedness theory, this study conducts an empirical analysis to explore the impact of the relationship network structure on engagement behavior, for the purpose of increasing the stakeholder engagement level. A theoretical model is developed, in which network centrality, behavioral willingness and involvement climate are selected as the dependent variables of engagement behavior. Using an effective sample of 245 stakeholders involved in BR from ten cities in China, we find that stakeholder network centrality positively affects engagement behavior. There is also a positive relationship between network centrality and behavioral willingness. The behavioral willingness plays an intermediary role between network centrality and engagement behavior, and the involvement climate has a moderating role between behavioral willingness and engagement behavior. Additionally, various strategies can be adopted to promote the engagement level of stakeholders. The findings are useful in establishing a benchmarking framework for BR stakeholder engagement.

Objective: To explore the clinical characteristics and genetic basis for a pair of twins affected with hyaline fibromatosis syndrome (HFS)., Methods: Clinical data of the twins were retrospectively analyzed. High-throughput sequencing was carried out to detect potential pathogenic variants. CLUSTALX was employed to analyze cross-species conservation of the mutant amino acids. Impact of the mutations was predicted by using software including PolyPhen-2 and Mutation taster., Results: The pair of twins have featured growth and intelligence retardation, and were found to carry compound heterozygous variants of the ANTXR2 gene including c.1214G>A and c.1074delT, among which c.1214G>A was unreported previously. Both variants were predicted to be pathogenic. In addition to growth and mental delay, the pair of twins also featured hyperplasia of the gum and soft tissue-like masses of the auricle. The younger brother had rupture of the auricle mass during follow-up., Conclusion: The patients' condition can probably be attributed to the compound heterozygous variants of the ANTXR2 gene. Above finding has facilitated molecular diagnosis of the patients.

Feline panleukopenia virus (FPV) and canine parvovirus (CPV) infections are highly contagious and cause serious enteric diseases, with high fatality rates of cats and dogs. Given the importance of cats as a potential source of genetic diversity for parvoviruses, parvovirus strains detected in cats with gastroenteritis signs were analysed, and molecular characterisation, sequence analysis and phylogeny were evaluated on the VP2 gene. The results showed that FPV, new CPV-2a, and CPV-2 are co-circulating in the cat population in Henan province of China. Moreover, CPV-2 strains (F2016020, and F2016021) with Ser297Ala substitution in VP2 protein was for the first time detected in cats with clinical gastroenteritis.
