The article examines the growth of the Chinese and Indian economies and the potential of India to challenge and surpass the stronghold of the Chinese economy. It reveals some significant differences in the path that the two countries have chosen to follow to improve their economies. It states that the Indian government has been supporting local entrepreneurs and businesses, while China has been focusing on attracting foreign direct investments.
