The article discusses the author's experience as a pastor in Nanjing Union Theological Seminary in China. He relates that students in the seminary are trained to become pastors and teachers and part of their training is to be able to play a keyboard and conduct a choir. He narrates that Chinese students show an innate ability to sing and most interested in the sacred music of Western countries. He mentions that Chinese people are respectful and eager to learn.
