Locusta migratoria is one of the most destructive pests that threaten crop growth and food production security in China. Metarhizium anisopliae has been widely used to control locusts around the world. Previous laboratory studies have revealed that LmFKBP24 is significantly upregulated after M. anisopliae infection, suggesting that it may play a role in immune regulation, yet the mechanism remains largely unknown. To gain further insight, we conducted an RNA interference (RNAi) study to investigate the function of LmFKBP24 in the regulation of antifungal immunity and analyzed the expression patterns of immune-induced genes. Our research revealed that LmFKBP24 is activated and upregulated when locusts are infected by M. anisopliae , and it inhibits the expression of antimicrobial peptide (AMP) defensin in the downstream of Toll pathway by combining with LmEaster rather than LmCyPA, thus exerting an immunosuppressive effect. To further investigate this, we conducted yeast two-hybrid (Y2H) and pull down assays to identify the proteins interacting with LmFKBP24. Our results provided compelling evidence for revealing the immune mechanism of L. migratoria and uncovered an innovative target for the development of new biological pesticides. Furthermore, our research indicates that LmFKBP24 interacts with LmEaster through its intact structure, providing a strong foundation for further exploration. Gross Primary Productivity (GPP) plays a vital role in the carbon cycle of terrestrial ecosystems. For the purpose of assessing the performance of various GPP products in a typical tropical area, this study conducted an intercomparison of seven different GPP products over Hainan Island, China, and analyzed spatiotemporal characteristics of GPP in different elevation regions and vegetation types over study area. The results showed that although the GPP spatial distribution pattern over Hainan Island, as presented by different GPP products, is similar- showing that GPP values in the southwest are higher than those in the northeast- there are significant differences in the spatial distributions and magnitudes of each GPP product. The multi-annual mean GPP values from the seven GPP products exhibited similar temporal variation trends, with GOSIF being obviously higher than other GPP products. The GPP products indicated significant differences in different elevation and vegetation type groups. The GPP gap between GLASS AVHRR and BESS V2 decreases slightly with the increase in elevation. Most GPP products show a consistent change trend over time. There were also significant differences in the results of significance tests for the change trends of GPP products. Though GOSIF is significantly higher than other GPP products, it demonstrated a relatively high correlation with all GPP products, while AGPP exhibited relatively low correlations with all GPP products. The quantitatively comparative analysis of seven different GPP products in this study is valuable for improving GPP retrieval models and can also serve as a scientific reference for the application of GPP products in tropical region vegetation studies., (© 2024. The study's major purpose is to examine the influence of various kinds of physical engagements on density dispersion of participants in Shanghai, China, and even prototype check-in data from a Location-Based Social Network (LBSN) utilizing a mix of spatial, temporal, and visualization methodologies. This paper evaluates Weibo used for big data evaluation and its dependability in some types rather than physically collected proofs by investigating the relationship between time, class, place, frequency, and place of check-in built on geographic features and related consequences. Kernel density estimation has been used for geographical assessment. Physical activities and frequency allocation are formed as a result of hour-to-day consumption habits. Our observations are based on customer check-in activities in physical venues such as gyms, parks, and playing fields, the prevalence of check-ins, peak times for visiting fun parks, and gender disparities, and we applied relative difference formulation to reveal the gender difference in a much better way.
