The article presents a study on the socio-economic development that promotes an industrial mining tourism in Córdoba, Spain. It proposes an alternative strategy for new economic vitality and heritage-related activity to stabilize the social situation and population decline in the province' coal mining industry. The study highlights the role of public administrators in structuring different touristic resources while preserving the heritage that reflect the culture and history of Spain.
