Archaeological study of the Kazan Kremlin in 1990th years gave varied in composition of glazed ceramics from Kazan State strata. Over a half refers to imported ceramics. Another part consists of fragments of glazed pottery of two types: red clay pottery with blue glaze and pottery with green and brown glaze. Similar dishes were found at other sites of the Volga-Kama region. Comparative analysis of the elemental composition of pottery with Crimea, glaze with Bulgar sepaja and ceramic fragments from the excavations of the Kazan Kremlin was held. He showed that the glaze recipe finds all the same. It is prepared from mixture of lead and sand in the ratio 1:1. Bismuth, silver, tin and other elements serve as markers for determining the raw material source of lead component. Their study showed that the glaze ceramics of Kazan and glassy drips from sepaja incorporates the same set of trace elements, that Crimean ceramics. Findings, confirmed the existence of large-scale production of glazed ceramics in Bulgaria, are absent. Most likely it was the initial stage. Chronological affiliation of findings, suggesting that the technology of glazed ceramics, was brought to the Bulgarians from the Crimea. For some unknown reason it did not develop. In Crimea, it ceased production in the 14th century. Kazan Kremlin finds show that this technology was transferred to another center. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
