The article presents abstracts on topics related to the Byzantine millennium which include the Polybius translation of Romulus Amasaeus, a treatise on rhetoric entitled "On the Four Parts of the Perfect Speech," and new ideas about the deciphering of the cryptic inscription in the narthex of the Panagia Asinou (Phorbiotissa) church in Cyprus.
