Four new species of Coreidae are described: Crinocerus fernandezi sp. nov. (Acantho cerini) from Colombia, Nectoquintius papillosus sp. nov. from Ecuador, Neoquintius boyacanus sp. nov. from Colombia, and Neoquintius foreroi sp. nov. from Paraguay (all Nematopodini). Keys to all the known species included in the genera Crinocerus Burmeister, 1835, Nectoquintius Brailovsky & Barrera, 2002, and Neoquintius Brailovsky & Barrera, 1986 are given. Three new species of Anasa Amyot & Serville, 1843 (Coreidae: Coreinae: Coreini), A. cotopaxiana sp. nov., A. crinita sp. nov., and A. humerata sp. nov., from Ecuador are described and illustrated in dorsal and some in ventral view. The new species are distinguished by a combination of colouration patterns and certain morphological traits, such as the shape of the pronotum and the posteroventral edge of the male genital capsule, as well as the armature of the antenniferous tubercles and femora. Drawings of the male genital capsules and a revised key for the sixteen known species of Anasa from Ecuador are also provided. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Two new genera, Nepiomistus, gen. nov., and Protenoroides, gen. nov., and one new species, Nepiomistus eximius, sp. nov., from Ecuador are described. Protenoroides is used to accomodate a species previously included in the binomen Protenor tropicalis Distant, 1881. New distributional records for Esperanza texana Barber, 1906 and Protenor australis, Hussey, 1925 are included. Photographs of the dorsal and lateral habitus, a close up of the head and thorax in lateral view, and the parameres of the genera included in the New World Micrelytrini are presented. An illustrated identification key for the 13 genera included in the New World Micrelytrini is added.
