The article discusses the nature of the relationship of English novelist Jane Austen with her sister Cassandra. Based on the letters sent between the sisters, some excellent literary analysts believed that these depicted the intimacy of the writer with Cassandra. The author mentions that her treatment to Cassandra as her confidante and intimate friend were shown in some of the characters at her novels including the "Sense and Sensibility."
