Abstract

This article focuses on a study that examined the accessibility of anti-dementia drugs such as acetylcholinesterase inhibitors across the European Union (EU). An e-mail survey were conducted among clinical experts in dementia from April through August 2005. Every drug were licensed throughout the EU, except for galantamine in Hungary and donepezil in the Netherlands. There is a striking difference in reimbursement in four countries.
