The article offers information on the Chopin Foundation of the United States. The foundation celebrated its 30th anniversary with a music festival in Miami, Florida in November 2007. Blanka Rosenstiel came up with the idea of establishing the foundation to discover and promote talented American pianists and send them to competitions abroad. The foundation's activities include hosting the National Chopin Piano Competition, which is held every five years, and exchange programs with other countries such as Poland. They also provide scholarships to deserving, young pianists.
