The article studies the impacts of Fenholloway river water on invertebrate biodiversity and growth of daphnia magna. Fenholloway River is located entirely within Taylor County along the northern Gulf coast of Florida. A pulp mill has released pulp mill effluent into the stream just outside of Perry, Florida. Endocrine disrupting effects of Fenholloway River water on invertebrates has not been assessed, nor has ecosystem health been reported. Several other metrics also indicated that the Fenholloway River downstream of the mill demonstrated reduced biodiversity. The Fenholloway River water did not cause a statistically significant change in body lengths relative to Spring Creek and moderately hard water in the first generation.
