Abstract

The article discusses the policies and training of law firms to fulfil legal responsibilities and management of employees in Florida. It notes that policies and training are two important pieces of defense for employment law. In this regard, several policies that must be included in employee handbook to avoid harassment claims are also discussed including fire at will, zero tolerance for discrimination and keep it confidential policy.
