Climate resilience in sustainability assessment of constructions Against the background of the globally noticeable effects of climate change, climate‐resilient construction is steadily gaining in importance in Germany. This article shows how climate resilience is already being incorporated into the various sustainability rating systems, such as the German Sustainable Building Certificate (DGNB) or the Federal Sustainable Building Rating System (BNB). This is followed by a filtering of the climate hazards mentioned in the sustainability goal "adaptation to climate change" of the EU taxonomy with regard to climate‐induced and construction‐specific environmental and site risks. Finally, a rough assessment of the climate resilience of standard residential construction methods is made for these risks. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
