Abstract

The article presents a case study on the diagnosis of osteitis fibrosa cystica generalisata Recklinghausen to a 75 year old woman in Halberstadt, Germany. The woman was recommended for computed tomography, and high-resolution ultrasound to be able to explain the malaise, weight loss and abdominal pain of the patient. A parathyroid adenoma was detected after conducting the test.
