Abstract

The article discusses the study of functional and psychosocial effects on traditional dancing with formal exercise training which involves functional and cardiovascular benefits in patients with chronic heart failure. It states that reduction in functional capacity is common in heart failure patients including fatigue, dyspnea and lack of energy. It also mentions the impact of the disease on emotional, psychosocial and occupational aspect on the patients' quality of life.
