Abstract

The article presents a study conducted to examine the geological and geochemical characteristics of two newly discovered rare earth elements (REE)-rich laterite crusts derived from granite rocks located in Xiaoping Mountain, Yulin, Guangxi province of China. A comparative study of the laterite profiles derived from two types of rocks including the fine-grained biotite adamellite and the coarse-grained biotite adamellite was performed.
