To analyze the incidence of critical comprehension processes in literary analysis through the application of didactic workshops to improve the teaching-learning processes of the 3rd year Unified General Baccalaureate students of the "Francisco Huerta Rendón" Educational Unit of the Balzar parish, canton. Guayaquil, period 2022 - 2023. To achieve this, it was assumed as a modality of qualitative-quantitative research, bibliographical, descriptive. An interview was applied to the school director and two surveys; one to the thirty-five students and another to the seven teachers, evidencing that students need to develop their narrative skills and know the critical comprehension processes that they can use in a literary analysis, favoring the improvement of their analytical skills and vocabulary extension. It was included that the application of the didactic workshops will help in the reading comprehension of the students, developing the narrative and critical skills and the teaching-learning process.
