The article presents a study regarding the determination of gene action in Lens culinaris with respect to some biometrical traits. The study used the experimental method called triple test-cross model in an experimental farm representing the mid-hill zone of Himachal Pradesh in India. Results showed that epistasis was identified and that additive and dominance gene action were important for the traits of the plant including harvest index, protein content, and tryptophan content.
