Abstract

The article discusses the transformation of care delivery in the Hudson Valley, New York. It states that the Taconic Independent Practice Association (IPA) will no longer assumed risk for ambulatory care in the Hudson Valley, rather they will focus on the quality improvement and practice transformation of its members. It also mentions that the IPA formed two organizations such the MedAllies for Electronic Health Records (EHR) and the Taconic Health Information Network and Community (THINC).
