India is looking to update its airports and airspace to accommodate the expected growth in airline fleet and domestic passenger traffic. The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has plans to upgrade procedures, training, and infrastructure to prepare for future growth. The AAI has released a Detailed Project Report for the Indian Single Sky Harmonized Air Traffic Management at Nagpur (ISHAN) and is currently accepting bids for the project. India is one of the fastest-growing air passenger markets globally, and the government aims to create a $20 trillion economy in the civil aviation sector by 2047. [Extracted from the article]
