Administrative leadership, both within and outside educational contexts, remains a male-centric field. Female leaders often are evaluated based on male leadership characteristics, a practice particularly evident in India's education sector. In India, only 35% of academics are women and even fewer are represented in leadership positions. This paper explores the experiences of two women working in administrative leadership positions in two Indian high schools. Interviews and questionnaires provided insight into how they perceived their opportunities, experienced barriers, and understood the impact of gender discrimination on their lives. The findings of this study are anticipated to encourage and provide insights to women who may aspire to assume academic leadership positions in education.

Background: Road traffic accidents are preventable public health issues and are becoming more common. These accidents can be linked to a number of factors, including an increase in the number of vehicles on the roads, changes in daily life, a nasty habit of breaking traffic laws, anarchic traffic systems, and risky driving practices. Thoraco-abdominal injury in different forms is one of the major causes of mortality in the victims of fatal road traffic accidents. The aim of this study was to know the pattern of thoraco-abdominal injuries in victims of fatal road traffic accident cases. Material & Method: The present study was conducted at the tertiary healthcare centre in southern Haryana. Total of 75 cases of fatal road traffic accident cases were enrolled during one year of study period. The basic information about the deceased like age, gender, mode of travel of the victim was obtained from investigating officer narration and inquest papers. During autopsy, detailed examination of injuries was carried out and the autopsy findings were recorded and analyzed. Results: It was observed that out of 75 cases male outnumbered females in ratio 5.25:1. Majority of the victims belonged to the age group 21-30 years. The commonest injury of the thoracic region was rib fracture (41.3%). It was also observed that 17.3% of victims had pelvic fracture. Conclusion: Human error is a major contributing factor to fatal RTAs, which can be avoided in many cases. A more stringent licensing policy, particularly for four-wheelers, increased knowledge of traffic laws, the reduction of drug abuse and an appropriate road network that is in line with traffic volume can help to reduce the number of fatal road traffic accidents. Optimum quantity of nitrogen fertilizer to maximize the production and minimize the cost of cultivation is need of the day. Therefore, it is obligatory to know the nitrogen demand of potato crop for economical production and minimizing the negative effect on environment. Consequently, an experiment was conducted at CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, for 2 years to investigate the effect of nitrogen levels on newly developed potato varieties Kufri Surya and Kufri Sadabahar. Nitrogen dose of 300 kg/ha gave the highest values for growth parameters which were at par with 225 kg/ha nitrogen, whereas the maximum values for yield parameters as well as dry matter content (tubers + haulms) were recorded with nitrogen dose of 225 kg/ha. It means nitrogen above 225 kg/ha has no significant effect on crop yield parameters. The variety Kufri Sadabahar gave significantly higher values for all the growth and yield parameters than Kufri Surya. It was concluded that the variety Kufri Sadabahar supplied with nitrogen 225 kg/ha gave the maximum productivity (388.7 q/ha), net income (Rs. 2,08,576/ha) and benefit to cost ratio (2.31). Background: STMS markers and morphological traits were used to investigate the genetic relationship and allelic diversity in chickpea. In this study, we focused on the selection and more efficient utilization of core germplasm in breeding programs for chickpea crop improvement using STMS and quantitative/morphological traits. Methods: Seeds of elite accessions of chickpea were obtained from ICRISAT, Patancheru, Andhra Pradesh, India. 50 STMS markers and 11 quantitative traits were used for exploring the genetic variability and relationship in 35 chickpea accessions. Result: A total of 97 alleles were produced out of the 32 polymorphic STMS loci with an average of 3.03 alleles per locus ranging between 2-6 alleles per primer. The PIC value ranged from 0.029 to 0.768 with an average of 0.502. PIC value showed a highly positive correlation (r = 0.718) with number of alleles at the STMS loci. In both molecular and morphological markers/traits-based clustering, out of 35 chickpea accessions only one accession ICC-13892 was isolated at the end of clustering. The results indicated that highly polymorphic microsatellite markers NCPGR 68, NCPGR 50, NCPGR 81, NCPGR 48 and NCPGR 77 along with the accessions ICC-13892 having distant associations with ICC-13816, ICC-15697, ICC-15610, ICC-15868, ICC-15888, ICC-15996 with novel findings should be useful resources for strategies of allele mining, association genetics, mapping and cloning of gene(s) and in applied breeding to broaden the genetic base of chickpea. Branding has always garnered substantial interest among marketers for many years. Brand love and brand hate are two aspects of branding that are drawing a great deal of attention today. Yet, there remains a gap in measuring the effect of brand love and brand hate on the relationship between brand experience and brand loyalty for the fashion apparel sector in India. Data was collected from 250 participants using both online and offline channels. Results imputed from the structural equation modeling show that brand experience is directly related to brand loyalty. In addition, brand love mediates the relationship between brand experience and attitudinal loyalty and for brand hate, ideological incompatibility and symbolic incongruity mediate the relationship between brand experience and attitudinal loyalty, as well as, behavioral loyalty. The present investigation deals with the genetic divergence, correlation, and path coefficient study for the six characters among sixty-two accessions of Ammi visnaga L. grown during two consecutive years, 2018-2019 and 2019-2020, in India. Morphological variability was detected for stem and umbel color from center reddish to pink during vegetative growth. In this study, high genetic co-variance (GCV) and high heritability with maximum genetic advance (GA), and high mean percentage were noticed for biological yield and harvest index and seed yield. These auspicious traits would possibly be governed by additive gene effects, which could help select the best genotypes using an appropriate breeding strategy for crop improvement. The highest positive and significant genotypic and phenotypic correlation coefficient was recorded for the number of umbels correlated between biological yields and seed yield. On the other hand, the path coefficient study revealed that the harvest index has the maximum direct contribution followed by biological yield, number of primary branches, and umbels on the seed yield. Results clearly showed variation in important economic traits could facilitate selection for further genetic improvement in A. visnaga genotypes. In this study, several unique accessions were identified that might be exciting genotypes for the genetic modification of the different morphometric characters in the hybridization program. The accession no. AV-45 was having the highest carotol (66.1 %), followed by AV-7 carotol (66.0 %). Therefore, these accessions can be further exploited for commercial production. The evolution of technology revolutionized the whole world. The slogan of 3R- reading, writing and arithmetic changed to 3A- Anyone, Anywhere and Anytime. Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) are gaining very much popularity all over the world as providing the learning opportunities to hundreds of thousands of learners of their interest area. India's higher educational institutions are planning to offer these massive online courses to their students through blended learning approach. In this context, it is very much important to explore student's readiness (preparedness) for taking this opportunity. The present study explored the readiness of university students towards Massive Open Online Courses. This is a case study of Central University of Haryana, Mohendargarh. Readiness basically here means the minimum essential requirements necessary for MOOC learning. The study is descriptive-survey based in nature. A questionnaire was administered to 100 post graduation students of Central university of Haryana, who were selected through random sampling procedure. Data was collected from the selected respondents and analyzed by using frequency rate and percentage method. Results of the study showed that there is a lack of readiness among students towards successful learning of MOOCs. Perinatal asphyxia refers to an impairment of the normal oxygenation during parturition and the ensuing adverse effects on the fetus/neonate. It is one of the major causes of early neonatal mortality in India. Among the institutional births, incidence is 5% and accounts for 24.3% of neonatal deaths. It is an insult to fetus or newborn due to lack of oxygen (hypoxia) or lack of perfusion (ischemia) to various organs of sufficient magnitude and duration. The aim of the study was to observe the urinary uric acid to creatnine ratio in patients with perinatal birth asphyxia in a hospital setting. It was concluded that UUA/Cr concentration increase considerably after birth asphyxia, and the increase is associated with severity of HIE with a poorer outcome. Hence, UUA/Cr might have an important role in diagnosing and predicting the outcome of perinatal asphyxia. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
