The implementation of food safety management systems has a great influence on global food safety and security, especially for developing nations. The principles of the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points are crucial for food safety and are the basis of food safety management systems. The purpose of this study was to assess the food safety management systems of a selected small-sized food company in India, both before and after certification of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 22000 and the Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP). This company manufactured traditional fried vegetable snacks using manual processing. The effectiveness of these certifications was assessed through direct audit. The integrated FSVP and ISO 22000 audit checklist were elaborated and applied in this study. It was shown that the certification significantly improved (97.14%) food safety system conformity in the company in question. Before certification, many non-compliances were found, especially for HACCP implementation. After certification, the only non-conformity concerned pest control. The integrated FSVP and ISO 22000 audit checklist used for the assessment enabled an evaluation of several factors: the food quality and safety compliance level, the effectiveness of certification, and the readiness of the small-sized Indian snack producer to develop the export of their products to the U.S. and other developed countries. It was shown that certification enabled a small-sized Indian food producer to meet the requirements of ISO 22000 and FSVP, which are the prerequisites for exporting to the U.S. and other developed countries. For short-distance travellers, two-wheelers have become a standard transportation mode and an ideal alternative (compact size, economical, easy parking), to four-wheelers particularly in developing countries. However, two-wheelers are associated with different safety concerns. In India, two-wheelers are more vulnerable to fatal and serious injuries per kilometres of travel in contrast to drivers of other vehicles. Most of these accidents occur on junctions and are likely to be fatal and more severe in contrast to nonjunction accidents. This research article aims to examines different risk variables associated with motorized two-wheeler crashes at intersections (signalized and un-signalized) in Haridwar and Dehradun districts of Uttarakhand state, India. A multinominal logistic approach was used to analyse a dataset of 680 two-wheeler crashes occurred within four years (2016–2019). The accident severities were categorized into three groups, i.e. fatal injury, serious injury and normal injury. The risk variables were categorized into five significant classes, i.e. riders' attributes, environmental attributes, junction crash attributes and land-use attributes. However, the majority of this study's findings endorses the concepts derived from earlier researches that used alternative (for instance; random forest, ordered logit, etc.) analytical methodologies in crash severity analysis. The model results showed that some variables (e.g. age, gender, adverse environmental conditions, time of crash and location of the junction) increases the possibility of mortal injuries. In contrast, some variables (day of crash, type of intersection and type of controls at intersections) decrease the probability of mortal injuries compared with minor or severe injuries. Based on the model's findings, policy recommendations are made, such as enforcing rules, advanced traffic management systems and road safety campaigns. For instance, education of young drivers can be an effective way to reduce crash severity as they are physiologically less sensitive towards the risk associated with crashes, thus, their involvement results in more severe crashes. Additionally, the results suggested that treatment measures such as transforming an un-controlled junction into signalized or all-way stop controls can be a productive approach for improving the safety of uncontrolled junctions. In this paper an attempt has been made to make a smart machine that can help women when they feel unsafe. Women can get faster support and higher security by pressing the device's emergency button. In the event of an incident, this device can trace the location of the user in actual time and send it to the nearest police station and volunteers [5]. The user can find a secure area nearby with this device as well. Additionally, this gadget works on both online and offline modes. Whether no internet is available, the user can still use the gadget to access the nearest police station and volunteer support. AstroSat is India's first dedicated astronomical observatory in space with multi-wavelength payload on a single platform. It enables simultaneous observations in the desired wavebands. The increase in the number of payloads has also led to an increase in the complexity in space segment design, ground segment design, and mission operation management. Each payload instrument and mainframe has its own constraint for the operation, which needs to be satisfied to ensure the safety of the systems. In this paper, we explain the challenges in ground operations for mission management with various constraints. According to the World health organization, pharmacovigilance helps to strengthen or implement patient care and public safety regarding the use of medicines. To support public health programs through solid provisions of reliable, cost-effective, encouragement of drug safety system. The objective of the study is to determine the availability of pharmacovigilance systems employed strategically in the regulation and monitoring of medicines, minimizing adverse drug reactions, and assessing the under events. Pharmacovigilance is a field of pharmaceutical science that includes various activities like data collection, detection, research, development and prevention. It also aspires to highlight the importance of pharmacovigilance or post-effect surveillance of drugs to emphasize the requirement of a dynamic approach toward drug safety. India had its drug safety program since 14th July 2010 but there is certain insufficiency in the framework of the drug safety system with respect to reporting adverse drug reactions (ADRs).Toa greater extent, it not only affects Pharma industry, and Health care professionals but also the general public. This entails the demand for effective regulations of drug approval, assessing the results, and vigilance of post effects mainly reporting undesired results. Analyzing ADR with the framed regulatory easily accessible system helps in diagnosis and disease management. Pharmacovigilance helps the public and patients with critical illness effectively to get the optimal or ideal results. • We studied Powered Two-Wheeler crashes with seriously injured riders. • We analyzed 1824 crashes from GIDAS, 662 from RASSI and 321 from CIDAS. • Cars were a common collision partner in all countries, but trucks dominated in India. • Impact points, angles, and speeds are described in detail. • ISO 13232 crash scenarios do not represent the most common crashes in our data. The motorcyclist safety standard ISO 13232, based on crash data from Europe and the USA from the 1970s, still sets the direction for the development and evaluation of protective measures today. However, it is unclear how relevant the crash configurations in the standard are to present-day motorcycle crashes in Europe, the USA and other parts of the world. We analyzed recent in-depth crash data from Germany, India and China, examining powered two-wheeler (PTW) crash configurations in which at least one police-reported serious injury was present. After assessing the relevance of the ISO's PTW crash configurations to those we found in each country, we suggested new configurations to guide the development of safety systems that would be more effective at reducing PTW-related fatalities and serious injuries. In all three databases, passenger cars were among the top two most frequent collision partners and a car front impacting the side of the PTW was the most common configuration. Notably, although collisions with trucks constituted the most common scenario in India and ground impact (primary collision) was a common scenario in both Germany and India, the ISO did not include either configuration. Further, in three of the seven ISO crash configurations, one of the collision partners is stationary, although stationary collision partners were rare in our data. Our results show that the ISO crash configurations do not represent the most frequent PTW road crashes in Germany, India or China. However, the Chinese database was confined to crashes with a collision partner with four or more wheels. Further, weighting factors for these data were not available, so we could not extrapolate the frequency of the Chinese crash configurations across the entire population. A revised version of the ISO could serve as a basis for a full-scale PTW crash test program. However, the observed differences between countries imply that a single global standard may not be feasible. To optimize the evaluation of a PTW safety system, we recommend the inclusion of configurations which are frequent in the region or country of interest—in addition to common configurations occurring frequently all around the world. Heating neutral beam (HNB) injectors, necessary to achieve burning conditions and to control plasma instabilities in ITER, are characterized by such demanding parameters that a neutral beam test facility (NBTF) dedicated to their development and optimization is being realized in Padua (Italy) with direct contributions from the Italian government (through Consorzio RFX as the host entity) and the ITER international organization (with kind contributions from the ITER domestic agencies of Europe, Japan and India) and technical and scientific support from various European laboratories and universities. The NBTF hosts two experiments: SPIDER, devoted to ion source optimization for the required source performance, and MITICA, the full-size prototype of the ITER HNB, with an ion source identical to SPIDER. This paper gives an overview of the progress towards NBTF realization, with particular emphasis on issues discovered during this phase of activity and on solutions adopted to minimize the impact on the schedule and maintain the goals of the facilities. The realization of MITICA is well advanced; operation is expected to start in 2023 due to the long procurement time of the in-vessel mechanical components. The beam source power supplies, operating at 1 MV, are in an advanced phase of realization; all high-voltage components have been installed and the complex insulation test phase began in 2018. At the same time, construction and installation of SPIDER plant systems was successfully completed with their integration into the facility. The mechanical components of the SPIDER ion source were installed inside the vessel and connected to the plants. Integrated commissioning with the control, protection and safety systems ended positively and the first experimental phase has begun. The first results of the SPIDER experiment, with data from operational diagnostics, and the plans for the 1 MV insulation tests on the MITICA high-voltage components are presented.
