The high number of vehicle usage in Indonesia, especially motorcycles, has resulted in high gasoline consumption which is not balanced with current domestic fuel production. This condition also has an impact on the high number of carbon dioxide emissions. Indonesia's government has been pushing for electric vehicle usage to reduce pollution and energy consumption by formulating policies and regulations. However, the low public interest in switching to electric vehicles has resulted in the number of users still far below the target. This study aims to analyze factors that affect the acceptance of electric motorcycles in Indonesia. The unified theory of acceptance and use of technology 2 (UTAUT2) was used in this study to construct user's acceptance factors. It considered performance expectancy, effort expectancy, hedonic motivation, price value, habit, and social influence, combined with environmental concern, infrastructure readiness, and government policies as facilitating condition. This research uses partial least square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) to analyze the relationship among various constructs and moderating variables using data collected by questionnaire to current conventional motorcycle users in Indonesia. The results indicate that attitude toward use, social influence, and facilitating conditions positively affect the user acceptance of electric motorcycle. Attitude toward use is influenced by performance expectancy, effort expectancy, hedonic motivation, and price value. Facilitating conditions is influenced by environmental concern, infrastructure readiness, and government policies. The results of this research can be a source of information for electric motorcycles manufacturers and policymakers to improve transportation quality, services, and regulations. The automotive industry is one of the leading sectors that has a quite a large contribution to the economy in Indonesia. Internal Combustion Engine Vehicles (ICEV) become the main engine type of cars in Indonesia. Electric Vehicle (EV) showing positive trend as Indonesians automotive customer alternative of engine cars besides ICEV even though the number of car sales is still low compared to ICEV. In this research, comparison of 2 entry level cars from Honda Brio RS Urbanite as a ICEV and Wuling Air as a EV are conducted through extensive analysis of data and present worth analysis. In annual mileage costs, the Wuling Air EV is estimated at IDR 4,405,000.00 compared to the Brio RS Urbanite, which has a cost of IDR. 7,352,000.00. For the annual cost of ownership, which includes purchase costs Rp 311.000.000,00 for Wuling Air EV and Rp 237.400.000,00 for Brio RS Urbanite, annual maintenance, and annual tax Wuling Air EV is superior to Brio RS Urbanite, which is IDR 5,581,366.00 compared to 12,277,000.00 this annual ownership costs have also included maintenance cost. The target of reducing greenhouse gas emissions led the Indonesian government to set a medium-term action called RUEN. For the transportation sector which produces the second largest emission, electric car use was being promoted. The government implemented several policies to encourage people to swiftly move from fuel cars to electric cars. Since the target achievement of electric car sales is still very low which is around 5%, the author studies the impact of policies that have been applied by using the system dynamics method. The government of Indonesia has applied policies of tax deduction, tax redemption, and road exemption to attract new electric car users. In this research, author finds that policies do not significantly affect sales of electric cars. Considering the target of 132.000 units in 2030, the sales of the remaining 8 years need to be drastically increased. It could be done by applying several new policies referring to other countries. The recently increasing development of electric vehicles (EVs) is the world's attention to reducing greenhouse gas emissions as mandated in the Paris Agreement of 2015. The development of EVs in parallel is also aimed at reducing fossil fuel consumption. Countries in Europe, America, China, and South Korea showed leadership in developing the number and market share of EVs. On the other hand, ASEAN countries, including Indonesia, are still in their early stages, and the market share of EVs is still under 1%, although various policies have been launched. Answering this gap, the purpose of this study is to conduct a literature review related to the factors affecting EV adoption and an understanding of the role and relation of each actor or sub-system in the EV ecosystem. Furthermore, based on the literature review results, a conceptual model of the relationship between actors in the EV ecosystem is constructed based on variable EV adoption factors. In the following study, this conceptual model can be further improved regarding the interdependence of actors within the EV ecosystem in the system thinking framework to select effective EV production and adoption policy under a dynamic EV ecosystem. The increase in carbon emissions by the transportation sector is correlated with the rise in the number of vehicles in Indonesia, especially vehicles with internal combustion engines which reaches at least 30% of the total national carbon emissions. Carbon emissions cause environmental damage, prompting the Indonesian government to implement a carbon emission policy on ICE vehicles, and the adoption of electric-based vehicle. However, the customers' adoption rate is still limited, partly due to the limited choice of electric vehicles products in Indonesia and unit prices, which are still relatively expensive. This paper intends to explore the design of electric vehicles by paying attention to customer needs to obtain product designs that are most in-demand and most likely to be realized by the related industry. For this purpose, the integration of conjoint analysis (based on full combination model) and environmentally conscious quality function deployment (QFD) methods is carried out, helpful in connecting customer aspects with technical aspects in the automotive industry. The research was conducted by exploring nine attributes and 30 levels of product design variations covering performance, technology, and service aspects of electric vehicle such as maximum power and torque; maximum range; vehicle model; battery capacity; battery charging speed; expected battery life; technology features and vehicle price. 32 design variation obtained which combining nine attributes and 30 product design level. Through environmentally conscious quality function deployment (ECQFD) method, the product design obtained is realized as a production strategy to obtain an electric vehicle design that best suits customers' preferences. Electric vehicles have been shown to lessen air pollution caused by transportation. However, because the number of motorcycle riders in Indonesia is fairly big, and because becak was once a major mode of transportation in Indonesia, the usage of electric vehicles such as e-motorcycles and e-trikes is an interesting object to develop. A good establishment of battery recharging facilities can accelerate the use of electric vehicles. Hence, planning for the establishment of a network of battery recharging facilities needs to be done. This study proposes a network design model for the battery charging station and battery swapping station facilities in Surakarta City to achieve maximum coverage with minimum cost. Market and mall locations in Surakarta City are potential locations to be chosen as battery charging stations and battery swapping stations. The MILP model is run using LINGO to reach the optimal solution. The results of this study succeeded in determining the location of the battery charging station and the battery swapping station in markets and malls in Surakarta with an investment feasibility study. Automotive industry is believed to be the pioneer in pushing the growth of manufacturing industry in Indonesia. Electric vehicles (EV) entry to the Indonesian automotive market at the moment is relatively new, with market penetration being modest at best. It is estimated that 30% of automotive component suppliers in Indonesia will disappear because EVs have fewer components than current conventional vehicles. An effective strategy is needed so that the automotive industry is able to face the transformation towards electric vehicle. the objectives of this research are 1) Understanding Indonesian research trends based on themes and keywords from industrial engineering and 2) Discover what research is increasingly getting momentum. The results show that Supply Chain Management is the most favourite knowledge area for a study of automotive component industry, recorded 13 papers from 2010 to 2021. With current conditions, many activities make it impossible to travel far and meet many people. Therefore, shipping services have developed quite recently. The development of freight forwarding services has led to increasingly fierce competition for logistics companies in Indonesia. With this condition, designing a model to measure logistics performance is quite important as an evaluation tool for logistics companies in Indonesia. This study makes a design of a logistics performance measurement model based on the Logistics Scorecard perspective and is divided into two stages: identifying the logistics supply chain business strategy to obtain KPIs, and compiling a model to measure logistics performance. There are 23 KPIs according to the five Logistics Scorecard perspectives. From the application of the logistic scorecard, the percentage of total results for each company can be obtained, and indicators that need to be improved can be identified. The design of this model can provide positive input for companies to improve performance in certain areas, this is done so that the logistic services that have been analyzed can continue to develop and become one of the companies that have good performance to serve consumers. Many countries have supported the development of sustainable technology in the automotive sector by making innovations for Electric Vehicles (EV). Indonesia is one of the countries that supports this program. With this program, it is estimated that 30% of automotive component suppliers in Indonesia will disappear because EVs have fewer components than current conventional vehicles. The filter is one of the automotive components that are directly related to the Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) for conventional vehicles. By conducting a case study approach to a filter manufacturer and formulating the IE matrix. The result shows that threats regarding government regulations for electric cars can be overcome by other policies regarding biofuels that still use filters in the engine combustion process because natural resources from its country, economic condition, and growth rate in Indonesia also are good opportunities for the external factors. The company's internal capabilities greatly affect the company's readiness. Marketing, financial, and research and development aspects have a strong correlation with the company's strategy in facing the electric vehicles era in the future, therefore the choices for this company are quietly much those are integration strategy, market penetration, market development, and product development.
