One way to preserve culture in education is through ethnoscience-based learning, especially in chemical materials linked to various fields of science in life, including social and cultural. Ethnoscience is a process of reconstructing indigenous science knowledge with scientific science. This research aims to explore trends in ethnoscience-based chemistry learning in Indonesia and analyze the contents, focusing on topics, learning approaches and models, tools, and variables influenced. The research data collection method adopted the preferred items for systematic review and meta-analysis (PRISMA) design and obtained from 30 selected articles indicated from 2019-2024 published in journals indexed by Scopus and SINTA. Analysis results show that the process of making batik is one of the ethnoscience topics that are widely used in chemistry learning. Ethnoscience learning can also be done by combining local wisdom (culture), traditional foods, and natural phenomena of the environment. Ethnoscience learning can be integrated into various learning models, such as contextual teaching and learning (CTL), problem-based, and project-based learning (PjBL). Learning tools often used in ethnoscience-based chemistry learning are modules, evaluation instruments, and worksheets. Ethnoscience is interesting to learn because it positively affects critical thinking and creativity, cultural and conservation character, and scientific literacy.

This study aims to investigate Indonesian senior high school teachers' perceptions of using the first language (L1) when teaching English because Indonesian teachers tend to have negative perceptions toward the application of the L1, while the L1 is needed in a situation where Indonesian students have limited skills in English. The semi-structured interview was applied to collect data, while thematic analysis was used to analyse it. The result showed that the teachers have three different positions in perceiving the use of the L1: the virtual position, maximal, and optimal positions. Although they have different perceptions toward the application of the L1, a major insight can be concluded about the limited use of the L1 for specific reasons, such as considering teachers' and students' English abilities, learners' needs, and the type and the difficulty of the given task or assignment. The L1 can be functioned as scaffolding in three aspects: when teaching grammar, vocabulary, and when giving instructions. Teachers may consider this study's results as the information to use the L1 in classrooms. This may also be beneficial for Indonesian educational stakeholders and the government to specifically define what type of scaffolding that teachers can use the L1 to teach English.

Digital history-based project-based learning (PjBL) in history learning is a learning medium that can provide a special attraction for students who can improve historical concept skills and historical awareness. However, there are still many teachers who have not used it, so it is very important to study it. This research aims to analyze the influence of the digital history based PjBL model in improving historical concept skills and historical awareness. The method used is quasi-experimental with two classes, experimental and control. The population used class XI high school students in Lampung, Indonesia and the sample size was 213. Cluster random sampling was used to determine sampling, while data collection was in the form of test instruments. The test instrument questions were analyzed using the gain score and Kruskal-Walli's test to determine the increase in historical concept skills and historical awareness with the help of statistical package for the social sciences (SPSS) 26. The research results confirmed that digital history based PjBL was effective in increasing historical concept skills and historical awareness with a high score, making it the best choice to overcome obstacles in history learning.

Teaching English speaking has become a centre of attention among scholars and teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL) practitioners for a few decades. However, the issue of teaching English speaking in "Kampung Inggris"/English Village remains under-researched, notably viewed from the tutors' challenges and solutions in the Indonesian English as a foreign language (EFL) milieu. This study addressed this gap. Two English tutors from "Kampung Inggris"/English Village got involved as the participants. The data were collected through semi-structured interviews and analyzed with thematic analysis. The findings reported that there were five challenges encountered by tutors when teaching English speaking, namely tutors' inability of exploring English language teaching materials, tutors' insufficient English vocabulary, tutors' ineffective time management during language teaching practices, demotivated tutees to learn English, and perceived teaching anxiety. In addition, the tutors stipulated four solutions to cope with such challenges, namely building a good rapport between tutor and tutees, tutors' self-motivation to English vocabulary enrichment, selecting appropriate and providing updated English language teaching materials, and motivating English language tutees. Therefore, teaching English speaking should not only rely on immersing students in fluency-based activities but also manage tutees' psychological factors to attain more effective teaching English speaking objectives.

One of the skills needed in the 21st century is critical thinking skills that need to be developed for secondary school students. Currently, upper-secondary students' critical thinking skills are still low. To overcome the problem, websitebased E-module learning media was developed using a STEM approach with a Problem-Based Contextual Learning model with virtual experiments using PhET. The aim of developing this website-based E-Module media is to improve students' thinking skills on thermochemistry learning materials. The development model is 4-D. Data collection in this study was gained from three schools representing schools in the high, medium, and low categories in Surakarta, Indonesia. In this research,216 students were involved as the subjects at the development module implementation stage. The results of expert validation of the material, language, and media modules are suitable for use with a score of 90.03% categorized as very good. In the feasibility test, the score was 87.98% categorized as very good. The score for critical thinking skills was 79.18% in the critical category. N-Gain score was 0.70 categorized as high criteria. The result of the independent sample t-test sig 0.023, Critical thinking skills were conducted using E-Module. The results are higher than conventional media and effective in improving students' critical thinking skills.

The purpose of this study is to mengetahui keberterimaan produk yang berupa Creative Cognitive Behavior Group Counseling dalam mereduksi kecanduan game online. Penelitian ini menggunakan pola penelitian dan pengembangan Born & Galls yang terdiri dari tahap studi pendahuluan, tahap pengembangan produk, dan tahap evaluasi. The participants of this study were 20 students who were taken randomly. The study involved two guidance and counseling experts, guidance and counseling media, and product users to assess the acceptability of the product. Meanwhile, to test the effectiveness of the product, it involved 60 participants, both control and experimental groups. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis to describe the level of online game addiction. In addition, this study uses analysis quantitative descriptive to identify the degree of acceptance of the product. The analysis of the product effectiveness test using the Independent Sample T-Test. The results of the descriptive study show that online game addiction is a problem that needs the counselor's attention, one of which is by implementing Cognitive Behavior Group Counseling. The Cognitive Behavior Group Counseling has high acceptability and effectively reduces student online game addiction. This study's results should be material and consideration for further research to identify the compatibility of the characteristics of the school counselor in Indonesian with Group Counseling Services.

The purpose of this study is to make a comparison between training culture in the perspective of digital technology and the approach of middle and upper volleyball coaches in Hong Kong and Indonesia to get reflection or feedback, as well as recommendations from the research results obtained for improvement. The quality of coaches in both countries. Comparative study research method with a questionnaire instrument. Data analysis used t test, or different test. The sample used in this study is a purposive sample from the two countries with the subject being a volleyball coach who practices at high school or equivalent. Data analysis was carried out by comparing the average differences in respondents' answers regarding the use of digital technology and training culture and training style between the two countries. The higher the average, the better the culture and style of training in a country. Data normality analysis with Kolmogorov-Smirnov and Homogeneity with Lavene's Test. The research subjects were 85 high school volleyball extracurricular coaches in Indonesia, and 22 coaches from Hong Kong. The findings of the research results Sig.(2-tailed) value (0.038 < 0.05) there is a significant difference between the culture and coaching style of volleyball coaches in Indonesia and coaches in Hong Kong. There are significant differences between culture and coaching styles in the context of digital technology in volleyball practice in Indonesian and Hong Kong high schools.

The purpose of this study was to understand the relationship between critical and creative thinking skills and learning achievement of senior high school and university students of both genders. The sample consisted of 85 senior high school and 90 university students drawn using cluster random sampling. Senior high school level samples were drawn from senior high schools in the city of Tebing Tinggi, while university level samples were drawn from the Jember state Islamic institute. Regression analysis was applied to understand the correlations among educational level and gender differences in the relationship between critical and creative thinking skills and learning achievement. The results show that senior high school and university students' critical thinking skills correlated positively with both creative thinking skills and learning achievement for both genders. Furthermore, senior high school and university students' creative thinking skills show significantly positive relationships with learning achievement in both sexes.

The Indonesian Ministry of Education pays a lot of attention to education in remote areas. The lack of equal education and the level of access to education are two of the main reasons. In remote areas of Indonesia, there are still very few educational facilities, either in the form of infrastructure or other facilities, one of which is learning resources. Today's learning resources can only be used in well-developed, easy-to-reach cities. They can't be used in less-developed, remote, or remotest areas. Reports and results of observations from some remote areas say that almost all children have used Android, but not to play games as it was meant to be used. It opens up opportunities, especially for making learning tools that can be used anywhere and at any time without a stable internet connection. This means that kids can use them whenever and wherever they want. Therefore, the Exo physics book is designed with this in mind. This study aims to develop a learning resource as a packaged Android application using design thinking and scientific literacy approaches: (1)empathizing, (2) defining, (3) idling, (4) prototyping, and (5) testing comprise the design thinking phase. Five schools in remote parts of Southeast Sulawesi were used to test products with students and teachers as respondents. The result of the development of Learning media is called Exo physic book which is equipped with learning video and game features in addition to materials and questions. The findings of the analysis of teacher and student responses to the Exo physic book strongly support point 4 that it should be used as a resource for learning support. Therefore, Exo physics books can be used as one of the learning resources because the design development pays attention to network access needs so that students can use it anywhere and anytime.

Mind skills become the counselor's internal competencies that support the counselor's self-development in providing guidance and counseling services. Mind skills consist of six components that are interrelated and often integrated. The metacognitive thinking process is the key to success in how counselors can manage their thoughts and mental states through these six components. This study examined the success of the reverse roleplay training strategy to improve the counselor's mind skills. The method was quasi-experimental quantitative with a pretest-posttest design. The subjects of this study were 31 counselors in Malang Raya, Indonesia. Data analysis in this study used two stages, descriptive statistical analysis and hypothesis test. The results showed that the counselor's mind skills achievements before and after the intervention marked a difference with significant increase. Reverse roleplay increased the participants' understanding and experience of the thoughts, perceptions, and feelings from broader perspectives. The counselor's mental experiences involved during counseling sessions become a "full presence" for the therapeutic relationship. This research suggests further research to explore the counselor's mental experiences in detail. As for practical implication, the reverse roleplay is recommended as a training design for improving the internal competencies of counselors and educators in general.

Adolescence violence is a problem that often occurs and is of concern to many parties. This condition can have an impact on various aspects, including subjective well-being, a sense of security and comfort at school, students' poor perceptions of the school climate, to the decline in student academic achievement. The problem of adolescent violence requires solutions to minimize it, one of which is through internalizing the values of peace. One of the figures who teaches the values of peace is KH Ahmad Dahlan, as the founding figure of Muhammadiyah in Indonesia. This study aims to identify the values of peace through KH Ahmad Dahlan's life experiences, as stated in the novel entitled Sang Pencerah. This study uses a qualitative approach with a hermeneutic type. The results showed that the values of peace according to the perspective of KH Ahmad Dahlan includes: (1) achieving life goals freely and responsibly; (2) humbly; (3) seeking the truth, and not following habits considered right; (4) studying the fact with tolerance; and (5) sacrificing for the people (compassion). The values of peace according to the perspective of KH Ahmad Dahlan should be a reference for developing a model of guidance or counseling to help students develop a peace-loving character to create a culture of peace in their environment.

This study aims to improve students' motivation and learning outcomes by applying Edmodo-based e-learning model in the Biology Education Study Program of Medan State University. The research method used is class action research with the application of two cycles. The subjects of this study were 17 students who took basic accounting courses and research objects of activities that took place during the learning process. Data analysis techniques used are descriptive quantitative with percentages used to measure the level of motivation of students, for the results of learning is evaluated at the end of each learning. The results of class action research obtained by the application of Edmodo can improve students' motivation and learning outcomes. This is evident from the implementation of actions starting from pre-action, cycle I, and cycle II. Student learning motivation is said to succeed with an average of 75-100%. The results obtained in cycle action I were 84.11% and 88.11% in cycle II. While the percentage of student learning outcomes also increased. The increase in pre-action from 50.75 to 73.53 in cycle I increased by 22.77, from 73.53 to 87.35 in cycle II which means an increase of 13.82.

The Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic impacted various lines in the international world, including Indonesia. Pandemic COVID-19 in Indonesia has also changed multiple performances in multiple sectors, one of which is education. The concept of learning from home changes lecturers' paradigm as educators in tertiary institutions applying online learning. This study aims to identify students' perceptions of the implementation of online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study uses a qualitative research approach with the type of phenomenology. The subject of this study was 22 students in Indonesia who experienced the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. This research instrument uses semi-structured interview guidelines. Students perceive online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic as (1) ineffective learning activities; (2) unpleasant learning activities; (3) limit self-actualization in education; (4) helping to become an independent person in learning; and (5) fun learning activities. Higher Education should create innovative and creative online learning strategies. Thus, students have a high enthusiasm for online learning.

This ex-post facto research aims to identify the negative influence of peace of mind on students' aggressive behavior. Aggressive behavior of students has become a problem that has not been alleviated to the maximum and is increasingly complex. One model of education that seeks to build students' peace of mind is the peace education model. The use of this educational model can suppress the urge of students to show aggressive behavior. The research data was collected using the peace of mind scale (PoMS) and aggressive behavior scale (ABS). The research sample was taken using cluster random technique with a total of 1263 students coming from western part of Indonesia (East Java, the Special Region of Yogyakarta, and Lampung), the central part of Indonesia (West Nusa Tenggara and Central Sulawesi), and the eastern part of Indonesia (North Maluku). Data in this study were analyzed using simple linear regression. The results of the analysis of the study concluded that negative peace of mind has an effect of 62.9% on aggressive behavior committed by students. This study is recommended for future researchers to develop peaceful thinking training programs to reduce students' aggressive behavior.

Scientific publication is an essential part of research dissemination, irrespective of the productivity effects on lecturers' careers. Therefore, this study aims to determine the internal and external factors inhibiting the productivity of sports lecturers' publication in international journals. This is qualitative descriptive research with a survey method and questionnaire used to collect data from 74 sports lecturers in Indonesia by using Google form. The data were further analysed to reduce the number of the original variables using the factor analysis method with the validity tests includes KMO (Kaiser Meyer Olkin), Bartlett, and MSA (Measure of Sampling Adequacy) used for reliability. The results showed that the sports lecturer's writing ability and cost are responsible for inhibiting publications' productivity in international journals as opposed to gender analysis. The majority had limited time to write because most of their activities were carried out in the field. Grants offered by both the government and universities are expected to be absorbed to support the sports lecturers' publication activities in Indonesia. Further studies need to be carried out by analysing the college type, academic position, and age as considerations for stakeholders to take strategic steps to overcome publication challenges.

The latest learning in the 21st century requires learners to master various competencies to support their learning process and achieve the expected learning goals. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-regulated learning and learning motivation with metacognitive skills. The research was conducted in May 2020 at SMAN 1 Tasikmalaya. The research used a quantitative approach to explore the correlation among variables observed involving a population of 177 students of class XI MIPA 1- XI MIPA 5 in academic year 2019/2020. The samples were 43 students selected using simple random sampling technique. Metacognitive Awareness Inventory (MAI) questionnaire adapted from Schraw & Dennison and Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ) adapted from Pintrich & De Groot were used to collect the data. MAI is used to measure metacognitive skills, while MSLQ is used to measure self-regulated learning and learning motivation. MLSQ is a validated instrument, while MAI is tested for validity first and the results are valid. The analysis technique used was multiple linear regression tests. The results show that the correlation coefficient (R) was 0.747 and the coefficient of determination (R[superscript 2]) was 0.558. The contribution of self-regulated learning and learning motivation to metacognitive skills amounted to 55.8%.

Geometry is one of the topics that students must comprehend in mathematics. However, in reality, the students' ability concerning geometry is relatively low due to their low spatial reasoning ability. The ELPSA framework is one of the solutions to develop students' spatial reasoning abilities. This study aimed to describe students' spatial reasoning ability and the impact on retention through the ELPSA framework. This research was part of the ELPSA framework research and development. The subjects were four students, chosen from 25 Grade 7 students from one of the junior high schools in Banda Aceh. They were selected based on the percentage of spatial reasoning aspects mastered. The instrument used was a semi-structured interview that was preceded by a written test. The results showed that the four subjects could manipulate objects in their mind to change the shape of D-3 to D-2. However, one of them could not determine its relation precisely. Three out of four subjects could imagine the appearance of an object from different perspectives. Besides, two out of four subjects could visualize objects to determine the number of unit cubes contained in the solid geometry and only one subject could imagine objects from various perspectives to determine the surface area but did not use the given measurement.

The purpose of this research was to know the effect of blended learning strategy on learning achievement and science process skills of students in plant tissue culture course in the Universitas Negeri Medan. The research method was quasi experiment. The population of this study was all semester VIII students of biology education program. The study sample consists of two classes, namely: class A known as control class who were taught by conventional learning strategy and class C known as experiment class who were taught by blended learning strategy. They were selected using cluster random sampling technique. The results of the study showed that tcount = 3.769, P= 0.001 at the level significance of 0.05 in learning achievements score. It also showed that tcount = 5.435 > ttable = 1.661 P= 0.001 at the level significance of 0.05 in science process skills score. Based on the study result, it can be concluded the blended learning strategy found significantly more effective in enhancing students' learning achievement and science process skills in plant tissue culture course as compared to the conventional learning strategy.

This paper aims to investigate how the concept of language, culture, identity and difference work together in the implementation of the SA Program for Indonesian students and how important its application for them. Concerning the interrelatedness between the four concepts in the employment of SA program, it is found that there is a chance for Indonesian learners to create new cultures after having interaction and dialogues through English as the target language. They also construct their new identity as people who have high-skills in English, in which they are marked out differently by other people. Furthermore, regarding the importance of joining in the SA program, it is seen that the program is vital to improve students' language skills, affect their cultural transformation and increase their level of confidence in using English. However, it should be applied carefully and put some considerations due to some challenges, including the limitation of English competence, the different of learning culture characteristics, the likelihood of crisis identity. Hence, all of the emerged insights above might be beneficial for policymakers of the SA program to revisit the regulation and enhance the quality of their guided SA program. Then, it may be useful as well for the SA program educators to design and employ suitable learning strategies to be suitable with students' demands. Ultimately, it can be useful insights as well for students to be well-prepared before joining the SA program.

The rapid development of today's technology, including the use of social media, especially X (Twitter) has become a common part of daily life regardless of the social class and age of the user. This study aims to analyze the influence of #JulidFiSabilillah movements on platform X (Twitter), in the context of countering the actions of Israel Defence Forces (IDF). This study uses quantitative methods with a focus on statistical analysis and New Media theory to understand the response of Indonesia netizens to this movement. Data was collected through a survey of 400 respondents using non-probability sampling techniques. The results of the hypothesis test analysis using the t-test, obtained a t-calculation result of 36,007 (tcal>ttable 1,966) with a significance level of 0.004 (0.004<0.05), indicating that (H0) was rejected and (Ha) was accepted. The conclusion of this study shows that the #JulidFiSabilillah Movement has a significant influence on the Netizen Response Indonesia. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Rancakalong village, Sumedang Regency, has been known for its small-scale palm sugar starch processing industry since 2013. This industry produces starch from palm trees, which is crucial for food and beverages. Generally, the processes involved in processing palm sugar starch include (i) splitting of the palm, (ii) grating, (iii) coarse fiber screening, (iv) fine fiber screening, (v) harvesting, and (vi) drying. Initial evaluations indicated that the workers experienced physical discomfort during their work. Therefore, this study aimed to analyze the ergonomic aspects of processing palm sugar starch, including the working posture, standard time, workload, noise, and vibration. Based on the analysis, the risk level for each work element in processing palm sugar starch fell into the high-risk (score 8-10) and very high-risk (score 11-15) categories. These risks cause discomfort due to inappropriate work posture and duration, necessitating significant changes. The standard time required for each work element was as follows: 212.88±28.43 seconds/kg (palm splitting), 363.45±12.90 seconds/kg (grating), 95.08±9.74 seconds/kg (coarse fiber screening), 192.05±21.27 seconds/kg (fine fiber screening), 35.57±5.78 seconds/kg (harvesting), and 1821.01±41.09 seconds/kg (drying). Regarding workload analysis, processing palm sugar starch activities fell into the moderate category with total energy cost (TEC) values ranging from 92.66±1.50 265.55±3.88 kcal/hour. Regarding noise and vibration analysis, the grating work element was identified as the station with the highest exposure, i.e., 96.00±0.82 dB and 1.6±0.05 m/s², respectively. The results of this study could be used as a basis for developing more efficient work procedures, maintaining health, and improving safety in the processing of palm sugar starch. Background: Subjective well-beingis vital for individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities to possess because it affects their future life development. Adolescents with physical disabilities are one of the groupsconsidered to have low levels of Subjective Well Being. Materials and Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted among139female adolescents with disability in Indonesia. The data were collected by directly interviewing the students based on the questionnaire guide and reviewing the participant information through secondary data. The data collection instruments cover the socio-demographic data questionnaire and Satisfaction with Life Scale. Results: The majority of the female adolescent with disability satisfy with their life (70.5%). Their satisfaction was associated with their family type and their age (p< 0.05), but not associated with age, parent occupation and their grade (p > 0.05). Conclusion: Students from nuclear family seems to have better support to the disabled adolescent, so that they have better lafe satisfaction compared to their peer living in an extended family. Both developed and developing nations frequently encounter the economic challenges of inflation. Middle- and low-income developing countries generally experience higher inflation rates than their high-income developed counterparts. Interest rates influence the relationship between credit distribution and inflation. This study examines how fluctuations in bank lending affect inflation in Indonesia. Monthly data from 2016 to 2023 were analyzed using the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) approach. The findings reveal that working capital loans significantly positively affect Indonesian inflation in both the short and long term. While investment credit shows no short-term impact on inflation, it significantly positively influences the long run. Consumptive credit exhibits a significant positive effect on inflation in the short term but a significant negative effect in the long term. The BI rate shows no shortterm influence on inflation. However, it has a significantly negative impact in the long term. Based on these results, it is recommended that Bank Indonesia enhance its coordination of monetary stability, inflation control, and financial system improvements, particularly regarding interest rates. Additionally, banks acting as intermediaries should monitor the utilization of working capital, investments, and consumptive credit to help manage inflation in Indonesia. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

A culture of peace is a condition that school members covet. Indonesia and Malaysia are two neighboring countries that support implementing peace education. Even though the two countries are allied and neighbors, each country has uniqueness, including implementing peace education. This study aims to describe the role of peace educators in Indonesian and Malaysian schools. Systematic literature reviews identify the position of peace educators in building a culture of peace in schools. The study uses eight main articles to describe the role of peace educators in Indonesia and Malaysia. The selected articles were analyzed by data extraction. The study results show that peace educators in Indonesia and Malaysia have different characteristics. Peace educators in Indonesia focus more on efforts to suppress student violence. Meanwhile, peace educators in Malaysia focus on building a constructive mindset towards all forms of experiences experienced by students. The study recommends further research to create a unique model of peace education according to the characteristics of students in Indonesia and Malaysia. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

To determine the incidence and the risk factors of stillbirth from maternal biophysical, ultrasound, and biochemical markers at 11–13 weeks of gestation in the Indonesian population. This was a retrospective cohort study of pregnant women for first-trimester preeclampsia screening at 11–13 weeks of gestation in some clinics and hospital in Jakarta. Maternal characteristics and history, mean arterial pressure (MAP) measurement, uterine artery pulsatility index (UtA-PI) ultrasound, maternal ophthalmic peak ratio (Oph-PR) Doppler, and placental growth factor (PlGF) serum were collected during the visit. Stillbirth was classified into placental dysfunction-related when it occurred with preeclampsia or birth weight <10th percentile and non-placental dysfunction-related. Bivariate and multivariate logistic regression analyses were employed to determine the risk factors associated with stillbirth. Of 1,643 eligible participants, 13 (0.79 %) stillbirth cases were reported. More than half of the stillbirths (7) were placental dysfunction-related. After adjusted with maternal age, body mass index (BMI), and parity status, chronic hypertension (aOR (adjusted odds ratio)) 24.41, 95 % CI {confidence interval} 5.93–100.43), previous pregnancy with preeclampsia (aOR 15.79, 95 % CI 4.42–56.41), MAP >101.85 (aOR 26.67, 95 % CI 8.26–86.06), UtA-PI >1.90 (aOR 10.68, 95 % CI 2.34–48.58, and PlGF <28.77 pg/mL (aOR 18.60, 95 % CI 5.59–61.92) were associated with stillbirth. The incidence of stillbirth in the population is comparable to studies conducted in developed countries. In this study, the independent variables are VACA, VAHU, and STVA, and the dependent variable is Price Book Value (PBV). Examining how intellectual capital affects corporate value is the aim. Public enterprises listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and LQ45 comprise the study's population. Purposive sampling was the technique employed in this investigation, and 108 samples in all were used. Regarding the use of multiple regression analysis in data analysis. The STVA variable influences company value, but the VACA and VAHU variables have no effect, according to the study's findings. If the business can create structural capital and codify corporate knowledge, it will have a competitive advantage. As a result, businesses must think of alternative tactics for raising company value. This study offers something new to the literature by examining the effect of intellectual capital on firm value in companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and included in the LQ45 index in 2019--2022. Introduction: The COVID-19 pandemic, present in Indonesia for 17 months, has significantly impacted mental health, especially in individuals with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Studies in Europe reported a 17.9% to 60.3% increase in OCD symptom severity. Notably, no research in Indonesia has explored the pandemic’s effects on OCD patients. Lockdown measures in Indonesia may exacerbate symptoms, but some OCD patients benefit, finding relief from societal stigmatization and the opportunity to advise others on infection prevention. This review aims to examine the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on OCD patients in Indonesia and discuss potential management strategies. Methods: We conducted a comprehensive literature search, identifying studies, articles, and reports relevant to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on OCD patients in Indonesia. These sources were critically evaluated to provide a comprehensive overview. Results: This review reveals that the pandemic poses unique challenges to OCD patients in Indonesia. Lockdown measures may worsen symptoms, although some patients find relief from societal stigmatization. OCD patients can play a valuable role in advising others on infection prevention. Telemedicine, especially CBT, and medication adherence tools are crucial for effective management. Conclusion: The COVID-19 pandemic affects OCD patients in Indonesia in various ways. Earthquakes are complex phenomena that generate various forms of clusters that are highly correlated in the space and time domains. To study the dynamic properties of seismicity and estimate risk, the earthquake catalog needs to be separated into clustered and background events. Here, seismicity de-clustering is formulated as a binary many-objective optimization problem. A swarm-based many-objective chimp optimization algorithm (MaOChOA) is proposed to segregate the earthquake catalog into aftershocks and background events. The reference point-based leader selection strategy is adopted to update the solution. The proposed MaOChOA is evaluated on many objective benchmark test functions. The results are compared with existing many-objective techniques using performance metrics such as generational distance, inverse generational distance, spacing metric, hyper-volume distance, and runtime. Further, de-clustering the earthquake catalog is performed using a binary version of many-objective Chimp optimization algorithms (BMaChOA), where the sigmoid function is used in the position update mechanism. The BMaChOA is applied to 32-year historical earthquake catalogs of the Japan, California, Indonesia, and Himalayan regions. The potential of the proposed algorithm is reported by comparing it to five benchmark de-clustering techniques. The results are validated using the epicenter plot, inter-event time Vs. inter-event distance plot, cumulative plot, λ -plot, and statistical parameters such as the m-Morisita index, coefficient of variance, average nearest neighbor, and nearest neighbor distance. Since the 21st century, Lamreh, Aceh Besar Regency, Indonesia played an important role during the maritime silk route at the gate of the Malacca strait. This article investigates the subsurface structure of landslide-prone areas in cultural heritage based on 2D resistivity, chargeability and current density models of ERT, IP and VLF-EM methods, respectively. Field data measurements were carried out on 2 crossing profiles along the cliff suspected of experiencing landslides. The length of each profile is 220 with 4 m distance between stations. The 2D models reveal that the subsurface geological structure of Lamreh is composed of a mixed layer of clastic sediment and volcanic material at the top, followed by a layer of calcareous sandstone, and volcanic breccia at the bottom. The 3 layers are most easily distinguished in the resistivity model. The topmost layer is permeable but dry, i.e., characterized by a more resistive layer in the models. While the second layer is characterized by an intermediate conductivity and the bottom layer is highly conductive. The conductivity in these 2 layers is influenced by the degree of water content within the rocks. The chargeability models derived from IP data can distinguish between the dry layer on the surface and the saturated layer below. Meanwhile, the current density models obtained from VLF-EM data have proven the presence of fractures and faults along the profiles due to weathering as also seen in the resistivity models. Wheat is one of Indonesia's primary sources of carbohydrates. However, the need for wheat still depends on imports. So, developing local flour based on Indonesia's natural resources is necessary. One source of carbohydrates easily found in Indonesia is cassava (Manihot esculenta crantz). Although there are many in Indonesia, the diversification of cassava-based products is still limited. In this research, MOCAF flour was developed and produced by fermenting cassava tubers with lactic acid bacteria. The enzymatic activity during the MOCAF (Modified Cassava Flour) production process is believed to change the physicochemical properties of cassava so that MOCAF products have characteristics similar to wheat flour and are expected to meet the gap between the demand and availability of flour. Even though it can potentially substitute wheat, MOCAF flour only has about 1% protein content, influencing dough rheology. According to the problem, a process modification was done by adding the enzyme papain (PAP) as a support enzyme to improve the performance of lactic acid bacteria (LAB). In order to study the effect of the papain enzyme, variations were made on the ratio of lactic acid starter: papain enzyme (LAB: PAP) and fermentation time. The ratio of (LAB: PAP) was varied to 40:1, 40:3, 40:5, 40:7, and 40:9, while the fermentation period was varied to 24, 48, 72, 96, and 120 hours. The fermentation was conducted by using cassava varieties of Singkur aerobically. The primary starter contained Lactobacillus, sp, developed by PT. Rumah Mocaf Indonesia and the papain enzyme used have an activity of 100,000 U/g. Data analysis showed that the addition of papain enzyme doses with a ratio to the lactic acid starter of 40:7 was able to produce MOCAF with the best characteristics: protein content, starch content, and swelling power of 3.72%, 9.99%, 16.00%, respectively. The data trend of research also showed that the number of papain enzymes only significantly affects starch content and swelling power. Groupers are among the fish groups that are difficult to recognize due to their high morphological similarities. Therefore, molecular techniques, particularly DNA barcoding, are extensively utilized to differentiate this fish group. This study aimed to analyze and validate six grouper species belonging to the Epinephelidae family that were harvested from Langsa district waters in Aceh province, Indonesia, based on DNA barcode data. It was conducted from June to December 2021, with the fish specimens collected from fishers at fish landing sites and the fish market in Langsa City, Aceh province. A total of 22 grouper sequences belonging to six species were generated, namely Epinephelus coioides, E. bleekeri, E. malabaricus, E. erythrurus, E. sexfasciatus and Mycteroperca poecilonotus (formerly Epinephelus poecilonotus). Genetic distance within these species ranged from 0.10 to 0.73% (average: 0.40%). Notably, E. malabaricus and E. coioides exhibited the closest genetic kinship (4.07%), while E. sexfasciatus and M. poecilonotus displayed the greatest genetic distance (19.33%). This study provides the first DNA reference for grouper in Langsa district, Indonesia, with significant implications for future sustainable grouper management. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The evaluation guideline for performance accountability (EGoPA) is a commonly used framework to assess the performance of public sector organizations. It is important to develop a comprehensive evaluation guideline that considers the legitimacy of these organizations and incorporates their distinct cultural and religious values. This study aims to reconstruct the EGoPA to internalize the actual state of Indonesia's philosophy by considering Notonagoro's hierarchical-pyramidal semiotics of Pancasila. This study utilized the critical paradigm to analyze and address structures or circumstances that impose oppression or present problematic practices within society. This study revealed components of EGoPA with Pancasila values as the basis of Indonesian philosophy that refers to Notonagoro's hierarchical-pyramidal semiotics. This guideline reflects every value in Pancasila, the entire line of Notonagoro’s public management, and employs the fundamental state of philosophy in a proper guideline of EGoPA on the components as whole concepts. Indonesia has abundant potential for solar energy. The decrease in the cost of solar power generation components can bolster the development of solar power plants. Due to its geographical characteristics, it is essential to analyze the feasibility of using solar power plants as a primary renewable energy source in Indonesia, especially on Sumatra Island. One of the critical aspects of developing solar power plants is determining the suitable location of the power plant and allocating the electricity generated to the regions. Therefore, this study considers the Capacitated Location Allocation Problem (CLAP) to determine the optimal placement of solar power plants on Sumatra Island to minimize investment and transmission costs. To address the problem, we explore three metaheuristics, namely Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), Simulated Annealing (SA), and Large Neighborhood Search (LNS). The results obtained by these metaheuristic methods show significant differences in cost, with SA providing the best solution with the lowest cost. The investment and transmission cost can be minimized by solving the CLAP to obtain optimal solar power plant placement while enhancing the region's resilience in implementing distributed generation. Excessive chemical input in rice management systems has an impact on reducing soil quality and rice quality. The research that links soil quality with rice quality is needed to produce recommendations for improving rice cultivation to make healthy rice. This study aimed to determine the index values of soil and rice quality in organic, semi-organic, and conventional paddy fields as well as their relationship to formulate recommendations for land improvement. This research used descriptive explorative methods and purposive sampling to determine the soil and rice samples. This data was then analyzed according to the method for determining the soil quality index and rice quality based on principal component analysis. The results reveal low soil and rice quality in various rice cultivation systems. Organic management of paddy fields has the highest index among other cultivation systems, with a value of 0.36, and tends to approach the moderate index. For the rice quality values, the organic system of paddy fields has the highest value (0.28) and tends to come with the status of moderate rice quality. There is a very significant correlation between soil quality and rice (r=0.80; p-value <0.001; n=54), that high-quality soil will produce high-quality rice too. The soil and rice quality in the organic system are the best compared to other systems. As per the Geothermal Potential Book published by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (MEMR) in 2017, Pacitan Regency in East Java Province, Indonesia, has the potential for geothermal energy. Two hot spring manifestations, namely, Karangrejo and Tinatar, located in the Arjosari and Punung districts of Pacitan Regency, respectively, have a combined resource of 25 MWe. We acquired ground-gravity data and evaluated gravity anomalies to explore the underlying geological structure in order to understand the geothermal system behind these manifestations. The results of the study show that the gravitational anomaly in the Karangrejo-Tinatar region ranges from 163 to 176 mGal. Additional analysis of the complete Bouguer anomaly (CBA) map, first horizontal derivative (FHD) map, and field observations points to the existence of three NW-SE trending faults. Two of the faults, which are the Karangrejo fault and the Tinatar fault, may be the flow paths for the manifestation of Karangrejo and Tinatar hot springs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study aims to formulate a model of water conflict prevention involving various groups of interest actors that spread after the era of decentralization was implemented in Indonesia. This research uses a qualitative approach with a narrative research strategy. Three cases of water conflicts that occurred in Batu (East Java), Klaten (Central Java), and Sleman (Yogyakarta) were used as the basis for formulating a water conflict prevention model. The data in this study were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, documentation, and literature research. Research informants consisted: each research location selected three informants who had been involved in water conflict cases, activists of Yogyakarta environmental forums, one of Walhi East Java, an activist of Yogyakarta Legal Aid Institute, Surabaya Legal Aid Institute. The literature search was used to collect data from books, articles, research reports, theses, dissertations, and online mass media reports. Data analysis uses cyclical models through data collection, condensation, display, verification, and conclusions. The results showed that the formulation of the model needed for water conflict prevention in Indonesia includes: the participation of affected communities in policy planning of regional heads, monitoring systems for licensing information that is transparent, credible, accountable, and easily accessible to the public, firm and consistent enforcement of laws and regulations, providing a balance of finding aspirations and water rights from all stakeholders, prioritizing the sustainability of water resources, without criminalization of environmental warriors. Jabodetabek has been termed Indonesia's most populous urban area, and it is predicted to generate around 9.069 million tons/year by 2023. On the other hand, this area has promising agricultural prospects and requires a great deal of energy. Tractors, generators, and other agricultural equipment are necessary to increase productivity. Therefore, it can potentially convert waste into energy as an effective alternative fuel for agriculture. This study looked at ways to recover the waste to energy (WtE) with various technologies (incineration, gasification, pyrolysis, landfilling, and anaerobic digestion). The assessment indicators focus on the type of waste, energy production efficiency, energy produced, technological readiness, capacity, byproducts, costs, air pollution, water pollution, and soil pollution. Each WtE technology is assessed using a scale between 1 (worst) and 5 (best) on each performance indicator concerning related references. Based on the analysis, the anaerobic digester is the most attractive WtE technology to generate an alternative fuel for agriculture in the Jabodetabek area. This is an environmentally friendly and economical technology because the technology readiness level is relatively mature. Thus, this review will assist policymakers and implementing authorities in determining the potential of the right WtE technologies for effective alternative fuel generation for agriculture, particularly in the metropolitan region of Jabodetabek. Indonesia plays a role in Southeast Asia as a norm entrepreneur for democracy, not Western liberal democracy, but homegrown democracy that resonates with Asian values. This article explores Indonesia's democratic norms that it promotes, which is homegrown democracy. It explains the mechanism of Indonesia's norm entrepreneur activity to promote democracy in ASEAN. Democracy norms have been institutionalized in ASEAN and authoritarian governments in some Southeast Asian countries because the accepted democratic values are the homegrown democracies promoted by Indonesia. This article argues that Indonesia as a democracy norm entrepreneur achieves this through a homegrown democracy frame that resonates with Asian values. It institutionalizes democracy in ASEAN and keeps the socializing process using the Bali Democracy Forum (BDF) that emphasizes dialogue and inclusiveness as a socialization strategy. Impatiens is a genus of flowering plants widely distributed in Indonesia, with a high level of endemism. Some studies about on Impatiens have been conducted in Indonesia and several new species have recently been proposed, however, a list of all Indonesian Impatiens species has never been provided. Here, such a checklist of the Indonesian Impatiens species is presented to provide a comprehensive and up‐to‐date inventory of this genus in the region. There are 52 species, plus 3 subspecies and 7 varieties, of Impatiens in Indonesia. Most of the species are distributed in Sumatra, some in Java, Sulawesi, Kalimantan (Borneo), Lesser Sunda Islands, Maluku and Papua. Sumatra has the highest number of Impatiens species in Indonesia (45 species), while the Maluku region has the least (two species). Most of the species are native (50 species) and endemic (46 species), with Sumatra being the endemic hotspot (39 species). Some Impatiens species, such as I. dewildeana, have expanded their distribution to new areas. The conservation status of Impatiens species in Indonesia has not been assessed previously, therefore, we follow IUCN, as a reference for determining the status of Impatiens in Indonesia, especially those endemic to Sumatra.
