Two new Bdellidae, Biscirus iranensis Paktinat-Saeej & Bagheri sp. nov. and Bdella farabii Paktinat-Saeej & Bagheri sp. nov., are described from northern Iran. The monotypic genus Neobiscirus considered a junior synonym of Biscirus, and its only species therefore considered Biscirus kobachidzei (Gomelauri, 1963) comb. nov.

Achaemenothrombium dariusi Saboori, Wohltmann & Hakimitabar sp. nov. (Acari, Prostigmata: Trombidioidea) is described and illustrated from larvae ectoparasitic on Euxoafallax (Eversmann) (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) from Sirch and Cheshmeh Bondar, Kerman province, Iran. It is the third species of this genus, which is recorded only from Iran. The status of this small family is discussed and a key to species of A chaemenothrombium (larvae) is presented.

This paper reports on three species of mites of the genus Myrmozercon Berlese, 1902 associated with ants in Iran--Myrmozercon crinitus Joharchi sp. nov. from Pheidole pallidula (Nylander), Myrmozercon michaeli Joharchi sp. nov. from Messor sp. and Myrmozercon tauricus Trach & Khaustov from Crematogaster schmidti (Mayr) in the bark of grape vines. Myrmozercon is redefined, the distribution, and the host-specificity and host range of its constituent species are discussed. A key to species of Myrmozercon occurring in the Palaearctic Region is presented.

Three new species of the genus Neophyllobius Berlese, 1886 are described and illustrated from Iran: Neophyllobius edwardi sp. nov. and Neophyllobius seemani sp. nov. collected from soil under oak trees; and Neophyllobius dogani sp. nov. collected from soil under Astragalus bushes. A key to the species of Iran is provided.
