Most researchers have argued that the knowledge required for economic development has produced, exploited, and disseminated within the framework of the ecosystem of knowledge. Knowledge ecosystems have created at the national level in the context of economic, social, cultural, legal and political systems, and form the national knowledge ecosystem in interaction. The structure of this ecosystem has not been analysed so far. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to present theoretical and empirical analysis of the structure of this ecosystem through modelling. For this purpose, the international database of countries and "structural equation modelling" techniques have been used. Research results show that in addition to knowledge inputs, capabilities and processes, openness, freedom economies, knowledge culture and good governance are fundamental components of the national knowledge ecosystem and play an essential role in the production, use and dissemination of knowledge. The first goal of this survey was to clarify the association among five components of collaboration knowledge management practice (KMP, i.e., creating, storage, accessing, dissemination, and applying) with supply chain performance of Iranian oil companies, and the ultimate goal was to investigate the impact of three various KMP components (i.e., perceived KMP benefits, collaboration KMP, and KMP impacts) on supply chain performance. The quantitative method was chosen to gather the data from 120 managers who worked in oil companies at the beginning stage of second semester of 2015. Then, based on the purpose of this research, the 78-item KMP questionnaire was administered in one session as research instruments. The descriptive analysis and two-tailed Pearson's product-moment correlation coefficient were applied to test the hypotheses. The founded results illustrated that there are positive correlation between five components of collaboration KMP and three various components of KMPs on supply chain performance. Knowledge managements (KM) increases the capability of organisations and companies in today's competitive environment. It is important that managers in petroleum companies proactively prepare their organisations and its members as they begin to implement KM systems. Then, as the first step, they should assess their organisations' readiness for KM implementation. Therefore, in this paper, we chose Iran as one of the main petroleum producers in the world to study the readiness of National Iranian Oil Company for KM implementation. A questionnaire survey was conducted in the company, based on stratified random sampling technique. The paper investigated the readiness of five variables including, management support, organisational culture, IT infrastructure, human resources and organisational structure for KM implementation in the company. Results revealed that the company lacked the necessary readiness to successfully implement KM. One way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) results indicated that there was a significant difference between the readiness levels of five KM variables. IT infrastructures and organisational structure were in higher readiness to implement KM in the company, followed by management support, human resources and organisational culture, respectively. Introduction: An article with a clear message can transfer research knowledge better. However, this is the case when the message suits the type of study methodology (research design) and its results. The objective of this study was to assess the presence of message articles and the type of study methodologies. Methods: Articles published between 2001 and 2006, on maternal care, diabetes, and tuberculosis, which were based on studies performed on the Iranian population were investigated. A systematic search was performed in foreign databases 'Pubmed, Medline, and Embase', and national databases 'Iranmedex, SID (Scientific Information Database), and Iranpsych'. Seven hundred and ninety-five articles were examined for the type of study methodology and presence of an actionable message (one that specifies what and how an action should be carried out). Results: Among the 795 articles accessed, cross-sectional studies were the most frequent (50.9%) and systematic reviews were the least frequent (0.4%). Cohort cases were observed in 6.9% of the cases. Actionable messages were observed in 22.1% of all the cases and 24.7% of the cross-sectional studies. Conclusions: Cohort studies increased from 5% in 2001 to 6.9% in 2006, but the shortage of systematic reviews represented a major weakness in the country's knowledge production process. Studies with a higher level of evidence such as systematic reviews, and cohort and interventional studies should be among the priorities of knowledge production in the country. Background and Objective: Over half of medical researches in Iran are done by students of different levels as their thesis. In medical school, thesis is a 6 hours mandatory course. This study caried out to determine the publication of thesis in faculty of medical in Gorgan, located in North of Iran. Materials and Methods: This descriptive study was performed on all thesis and all faculty members who have been advisor of at least one thesis up to the time of this study. To collect data, we used a questionnaire which contained questions about the research, their output and any obstacles to publication. All data have been analyzed by SPSS-13 software and Chi-Square test. Results: According to the collected information, 322 thesis were directed by 43 faculty academic members of Gorgan Medical School. 87.6% and 12.4% thesis supervisors were clinical and basic science academic members respectively. The majority of 127 (39.4%) published papers have either been published by domestic medical journals or represented in medical seminars inside the country. Basic members have published 70% of their papers while only 35.1% of clinical faculty members have published their research findings. Experimental papers have been published more than other papers (48.5%). The most important publication barrier were lack of time and collaborator in this matter.
