The objective of this study was to determine the genetic diversity among Chrysoperla carnea samples collected from different locations of Iran (including, East-Azerbaijan, West-Azerbaijan, Isfahan, Kerman, Kermanshah, Lorestan, Mazandaran, Gilan, Hormozgan and Hamedan provinces) using the Inter simple sequence repeat (ISSR) and mitochondrial (Cytochrome Oxidase I - COI) molecular markers in 2016-2018. The results showed that a total of 64 bands were produced by ten primers of ISSR markers which among them 43 bands were polymorphic. The highest and lowest polymorphic percentages belonged to primer UBC-809 (88.88%) and primer UBC-886 (33.33%), respectively. The results of cluster analysis based on ISSR marker data divided the samples into three separate clusters. This grouping was also confirmed by analysis of molecular variance. According to the results of the analysis of molecular variance diversity within and among groups was about 84% and 16%, respectively. In the present study five haplotypes were obtained. The first haplotype (H1) was common in all populations which can be considered as the ancestral haplotype, the other haplotypes have been evolved from it. The novelty of this study is that we report the first time genetic diversity analysis of family Chrysopidae using ISSR and CO1 markers covering more than ten provinces and thirty cities of Iran with a full picture of its genetic diversity. Genetic distance matrix based on Jaccard index indicated low genetic distance of populations. The family Chrysopidae has several genera of which the genus Chrysoperla is more important of them. These lacewings are beneficial insects when they have high potential for predation on harmful aphids which can be used in their biological control programs. Due to high importance of these lacewings in Ardabil province in northwest zone of Iran, identification of their species was done. By examining the collected specimens with morphological features, wing venation, male reproductive organ, and claws shape (as the best way to identify the species) finally 4 species were identified including Chrysoperla carnea (Stephens), Chrysoperla kolthoffi Navas, Chrysoperla lucasina Lacroix, and Chrysoperla sillemi Esben-Petresen. In the present study, sequences of COI gene of insects belong to five orders collected from seven cities in the Kurdistan province of Iran with other locations in the word was studied. Genomic DNA was extracted using the CTAB method, Cytochrome Oxidase I gene was amplified by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) using primer pair and then the sequences were analyzed. The results of the dendrogram show that a specimen of Periplaneta americana from Barcelona, Spain was in the same clade as a specimen from Nanjing, China, but Shelfordella latralis=Blatta lateralis has made a clad with PE-B Periplaneta americana specimen collected in Kurdistan, with more distance from two former specimens of Periplaneta americana from Spain and China. Also, Periplaneta, two genera Shelfordella and Blatta have composed the same clade. Two specimens of sunn pest Eurygaster integriceps, Heteroptera, Scutelleridae which made a common clade together and made another neighbor clade with Hypseloecus sp. Although, Heteroptera belonged to the Miridae family. Chrysopa pallens, Chrysopidae, Neuroptera, Acanthaclisis occitanica, Myrmeleontidae and Neuroptera both collected in Kurdistan have many genetic similarities in common and have made a clade near to clade of sunn pest but more distant from clades made by Periplaneta americana of different regions of the world. Two samples of Mediterranean flour moth, Ephestia kuehniella, that collected from Kurdistan province of Iran have made a common clade with each other, and they formed a neighbor clade with a specimen of Ephestia kuehniella, from Luebeck, Germany. A faunistic survey of the antlions (Neuroptera: Myrmeleontidae) in Isfahan Province, Iran was completed using sweep nets and light traps. In addition to Cueta beieri Hölzel, which is a new record for Iran, 14 new Isfahan Province species records are also reported: Acanthaclisis occitanica Villers, Creoleon remanei Hölzel, Cueta lineosa Rambur, Delfimeus intricatus Hölzel, Distoleon formosus Hölzel, D. kabulensis Hölzel, D. nuristanus Hölzel, Geyria lepidula Navás, Macronemurus amoenus Hölzel, M. persicus Navás, Myrmecelurus trigrammus Pallas, Palpares hispanus Hagen, P. libelluloides Linnaeus and Parapalpares solidus Gerstaecker.
