Abstract

The article discusses the highlights of the conference "21st Century Vision for Libraries" held on October 13-14, 2010 at COMSTECH Secretariat in Islamabad, Pakistan. The conference was divided into four sessions which had an inaugural and concluding sessions. The first business session was coordinated by Salim Khan and entitled "Competencies for Information Professionals." The second session entitled "Application of Technologies in Libraries" was coordinated by Saima Qutub and chaired by Doctor Kanwal Ameen.
