Rodingites occur in serpentine-matrix mélange of the Nagasaki metamorphic rocks in Japan. Two types of rodingites can be distinguished on the basis of their mode of occurrence and mineralogical composition. One occurs as dikes, which contain a mineral assemblage of grossular, vesuvianite, diopside, apatite, titanite, and zircon. The other occurs as a block, which consists of zoisite, clinozoisite, diopside, chlorite, apatite, titanite, and zircon. The former type of rodingites posses two types of zircons: prismatic and porous. The prismatic zircons contain primary fluid inclusions indicating their crystallization in the presence of fluids. The porous zircons have extensive fractures filled by zircon, which are indicative of a hydrothermal origin. Both zircon types were thought to have formed under the influence of fluids. U- Pb ion probe analyses of prismatic zircons from the rodingites yield a weighted mean age of 108-105 Ma, suggesting the Early Cretaceous as the time of rodingitization in the subduction zone. Hafnium isotopic compositions of prismatic zircons are close to or overlap with the mid ocean ridge basalt ( MORB) Hf isotopic ratio. This indicates that the fluid composition may have been reflected by the MORB composition during rodingitization. On the other hand, the low εHf values (11.8-18.9) of porous zircons suggest that they incorporate a small amount of Hf from fluid contaminated by subducted sediments. The rodingites are significantly enriched in Sr and depleted in large ion lithophile elements ( LILE) ( Cs, Rb, Ba). The fluid during rodingitization is able to extracts LILEs from the protolith of rodingites and adds Sr to the protolith of rodingites. The high field strength elements ( HFSE) ( Zr, Th, U, Nb, Ta) concentrations in the rodingites are similar to those of MORB, thus indicate their relatively immobile nature during rodingitization. Background: This study aimed to evaluate the performance of a modified U.S. (MUS) model for risk prediction of cardiovascular (CV) events in Asian patients and compare it to European and Japanese models., Methods: The MUS model, based on the US ACC/AHA 2018 lipid treatment guideline, was employed to stratify patients under primary or secondary prevention. Two multi-center prospective observational registry cohorts, T-SPARCLE and T-PPARCLE, were used to validate the scoring system, and the primary outcome was the time to first occurrence/recurrence of major adverse cardiac events (MACEs). The MUS model's performance was compared to other models from Europe and Japan., Results: A total of 10,733 patients with the mean age of 64.2 (SD: 11.9) and 36.5% female were followed up for a median of 5.4 years. The MUS model was validated, with an AUC score of 0.73 (95% CI 0.68-0.78). The European and Japanese models had AUC scores ranging from 0.6 to 0.7. The MUS model categorized patients into four distinct CV risk groups, with hazard ratios (HRs) as follows: very high- vs. high-risk group (HR = 1.91, 95% CI 1.53-2.39), high- vs. moderate-risk group (HR = 2.08, 95% CI 1.60-2.69), and moderate- vs. low-risk group (HR = 3.14, 95% CI 1.63-6.03). After adjusting for the MUS model, a history of atherosclerotic vascular disease (ASCVD) was not a significant predictor of adverse cardiovascular outcomes within each risk group., Conclusion: The MUS model is an effective tool for risk stratification in Asian patients with and without ASCVD, accurately predicting MACEs and performing comparably or better than other established risk models. A fleet of thirteen in-service global container ships continuously measured the air dose rates over the North Pacific after the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station (FDNPS) accident. The results showed that the elevated air dose rates over the Port of Tokyo and the FDNPS emissions are significantly correlated (log(emission fluxes) = 54.98 x (air dose rates) (R = 0.95, P-value<0.01), and they are also significantly correlated with the Tsukuba deposition fluxes (log(deposition fluxes) = 0.47 + 30.98 (air dose rates) (R = 0.91, P-value<0.01). These results demonstrate the direct impact of the FDNPS emissions on the depositions of radionuclides and the air dose rates over the Port of Tokyo. Over the North Pacific, the correlation equations are log(emission fluxes) = -2.72 + 202.36 x (air dose rates over the northwestern Pacific) (R = 0.40, P-value<0.01), and log(emission fluxes) = -0.55 + 80.19 x (air dose rates over the northeastern Pacific) (R = 0.29, P-value = 0.0424). These results indicate that the resuspension of the deposited radionuclides have become a dominant source in the transport of radionuclides across the North Pacific. Model simulations show underestimated air dose rates during the periods of 22-25 March 2011 and 27-30 March 2011 indicating the lack of mechanisms, such as the resuspension of radionuclides, in the model., Competing Interests: The authors have declared that no competing interests exist.

Employment relations in Japan becomes flexible and uncertain in recent years. Career-related terms were widely introduced to Japan. Recent Japanese studies on career argued the responsibility of career development between the organization and individuals. This article discusses the determination of occupational choice and latter career development based on the interviews of Takasaki City University of Economics (TCUE) alumni. First, their ideals of vocational life before entering the labour market as well as their latter modification and development are examined. Second, their motivation for getting the first job is looked into. Finally, the ownership of individual career in Japanese firms is discussed by clarifying the way the interviewees become directors or leaders. The results show people engaged in a sole company have unclear career visions, but have stronger eagerness for being an ordinary salaried worker than others. Whatever one's dream is, getting a job for now would be a favourable attitude toward career development. The ownership of an employee's career still dominated by the organization could be confirmed.
