To explore measures for promoting the competitive power of the Liaoning equipment manufacturing industry and identifying development opportunities for realizing intelligent manufacturing, this study focuses on Liaoning equipment manufacturing enterprises. Ten investigation variables are designed across six dimensions, including the foundations of intelligent manufacturing, vertical information flow integration, enterprise-manufacturer relationships, partner value stream, industrial standardization system, and government-scientific research institution collaboration. A comprehensive survey and data collection using questionnaires are conducted. The survey data is analyzed using logical analysis to construct a membership function model, and the confidence and reliability of the data are tested using the KMO and Bartlett coefficient models. Principal component analysis is then used to construct a factor load matrix model to identify key influencing factors for realizing intelligent manufacturing. Based on the findings, countermeasures and suggestions are proposed to promote the development of Liaoning equipment manufacturing enterprises towards information, digital, and intelligent dimensions.
