Abstract

The article presents a study which described Tricheilostoma joushuai's morphometric and meristic characteristics and colouration in life. The study used specimens which were obtained from the Museo de Historia Natural de la Universidad de Caldas (MHN-UC). The study was able to find that the species is hard to find. Results also showed that T. joushuai has the ability to live in disturbed areas. The study suggested that some of Manizales, Colombia's areas are covered with forest fragments that offer possible snakes' microhabitats.
